Good morning everyone! Nice, cool morning here in Louisville. Our high today is
be only about 65-67 degrees. Mutt, thank you for putting the coffee on, and making
the juice.

So that calls for a nice hot breakfast for everyone: the hearty kind with bacon,
sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, toast.

And since it's going to be a cooler day, lunch and supper menus will be:

chilli (mild & 5-alarm)
beef vegetable soup
beef stew and cornbread

Everyone, enjoy your day: Mutt and I will be back in the throes of fall
housecleaning.[:(][xx(]

James, congrats on your first star!!

That sounds like a good deal for UW- trash day here as well, but the only option I have is to give my recycling to the City of CR.

Breakfast sounds wonderful, bring me a heaping plate! And I'll certainly be back for some of that chili, against the wishes of the better half here.

For the "Southern Pork Chops",I imagine you are talking about good ole

OK...I'm game for some 5 Alarm, CW. Headed to the Pepsi Center to catch an Av's pre-season game in our company suite. Should be pretty cool in there, so some 5 Alarm might do the trick to keep warm!

CW - 5 Way instead of 5 Alarm with a couple of cheese coneys as a chaser.

Sorry fellow front ranger CopCar, will have to bring some back & share or get BossHen to keep playing with the recipe until the secret of Skyline or GoldStar is revealed.

Yeah Joe, I've got some of them. Pretty cool, thanks! The one with the tank on it is interesting.
My wife mentioned going to Chicago for a weekend away with the family around thanksgiving. I already put my [2c] in and told her I'd like to do some trainwatching. Maybe Rochelle?

Plenty chilly in Mich. this am too. No frost. The weatherman said we got enough of a breeze and cloud cover to keep it off, but south of GR didn't. Taken Amtrak to Chicago once. Good experience. If I go, I just have to decide where to go, what frequencies to use for my scanner, and what not. [8D][:D]

No frost here, but it's certainly chilly enough. A couple of blocks away from us, a homeowner apparently made the mistake of using the fireplace for the first time in a while without cleaning or inspecting the flue. [oops]There's now a six-foot hole in the roof around the chimney, and they had to spend the night elsewhere. Made for a good show last night though!

Good Friday morning everyone!! Well, here in Louisville, we got down to the
mid forties this morning. Chilly!!!! Brrr.

Joe: Thanks for getting everything started this morning. Putting some of your
hot chocolate alongside my coffee: take a sip of coffee, then a sip of hot
chocolate!! Due to the fall cleaning Mutt and I are doing, we slept in this a.m.

Breakfast: the hearty breakfast, consisting of your choice of turkey bacon,
sausage and biscuits & gravy, with fried taters and your choice of scrambled
eggs or fried eggs.

Lunch today will be fried perch, cod, whitefish w/fries and cole slaw, or beef
stew w/cornbread.

Supper tonight: beef stew w/cornbread, leftover chilli.

Dessert: chocolate cake w/raspberry filling. A little bird told me that someone
here really loves chocolate cake w/raspberry filling. So I'm in the process of
baking four of the cakes right now. They will be ready in time for lunch.
