Even though wood is a decent insulator, the prototypes always used glass or ceramic insulators, even for the low voltage signal lines...

Andrew, Produce Day is the day that CW goes and gets fresh produce.
Where do you think a lot of the fresh produce in the Diner comes from?

Well,she probably could "produce" a "corny" song.[:-,][(-D]

I always make enough to last several meals, so everyone is welcome to get
what they want to eat, if it's on the menu, and if I have it fixed. So, as you all
can see, there's plenty of fried chicken, mashed tater, green beans left.
Also, plenty of white cake, yellow cake, chocolate cake, apple pie, peach
cobbler, etc. So help yourselves.

Skidding in for lunch - !

Just had time to get a post in the forum and my work arrived in the dump truck!

Gotta few items - Mookie's Mutterings if you will.

Talk of a mountain lion in Omaha again. They must like the night life up there....
They should come to Lincoln - it is a whole lot quieter here.

Driver took me to Plattsmouth Nebraska - where the "confluence" of the Platte River and the Missouri River is...(they meet there and it is the mouf of the Platte) Pretty brilliant of me isn't it?

Saw some BNSF on the main line - must have been dispatchers lunch time - they were all waiting to get into Lincoln. 3 different trains - all sitting quietly and enjoying the football game, I bet.....

See JDV's posting on the Lions - substitute Nebraska Cornhuskers and coach instead of quarterback....But our Defense is Awsome!

Off to do some more damage somewhere - will take lunch with me - let's see....

little mc, little tater salad, little parsley from Tree, little cake from CW.....mmmmm
[dinner]

Lions losing doesn't break my heart. That would have happened long ago. I just think they could be a top notch team (especially on offense) if they had a better qb. Way too much talent to be finishing at .500 or worse.
Sorry, [#offtopic][banghead]

Re: Lions, Bears, Vikings, Packers.

Tough year. I am not sure they could win playing each other. Keep the faith. The NFC Central will come back long before the Cubs get to the World Series. (Why I dropped my interest in pro sports and got back into the railroad thing).

Have a good one.

Missed breakfast, must have been working too hard. I'll take the leftovers for lunch. Better than what I've got.

Hope you all had a good weekend. Enjoying some nice Michigan weather and another Lions loss.

Okay, I've seen the Mookster over in several of the other threads around here,
this morning. So why haven't we seen her in here?!?!?! Or is she just lurking
around, or catnapping in the hammock??

I'm getting ready to go out for awhile, so will go ahead and post the supper menu
for tonight: Something easy and quick, since I'm going to be gone for half the
afternoon: will warm up all the leftovers from the yesterday (fried chicken, green
beans, mashed potatoes, etc.)

And a tip top o' tha marnin' to ye all,

Well, it was in and around 90 in the Denver Metro area yesterday, and the forecasts tell of snow possibly by Weds evening! 'Tis been said that one does not like the weather in Colorado, all one needs do is wait 15 minutes or drive 15 miles. Sometimes I don't think that's much of an exaggeration.

CW, a big steamy bowl of Oatmeal sounds like just the ticket this morning.

Well, must be off to the salt mines, or wherever it is I try to work. Have a great day everyone.

Hello all,

What is going on with the Model Railroad forum. I posted something on there a few days ago and it still shows as the last response.

On a different subject, I get to try out my new suit I got for Christmas of 2004 finally. I would have tried it sooner but I have had no time or money to go to concerts for so far.

Joe, thank you for putting the leftovers up.

Sunday brunch is simple today: donuts of all kinds. Plenty of coffee,
milk, hot tea, hot chocolate, juice.

Everyone have a great day, and, as Joe says, "Stay safe" out there today.
