to order a pizza"), we'll have pizzas for supper!! Any kind you want, except
anchovie
: cause I don't make pizzas with anchovies on them!!

Brian - good thoughts to you and your family.

Tuna? Did you say Tuna? As in tuna piano, not a fish? [dinner]

Set a record for high temp here in the land of no weather. 80 degrees. Gone are the years that Halloween was called because of snow/ice.

Good Thursday morning everyone! Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day!!

Breakfast this morning: turkey bacon, sausage patties & links, biscuits & gravy,
fried taters, hash browns, scrambled & fried eggs, oatmeal, toast; or, you can
have a big ole bowl of Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran, Alpha Bits, Fruity or Cocoa
Pebbles, Rice Krispies, or Shredded Wheat.

Lunch today: tuna casserole, and dessert will be coconut cake. And if our
illustrious owner is in today, I've got plain white cake w/white icing for him.

Brian, you have our deepest sympathies. Even though you know she is in a
better place, and no longer has any pain, it still wears on you. Glad you all
had Hospice to help you through it.

someone say candy? oh wait, that was Monday, where have I been? oh that's right, stuck on SEPTA Regional Rails due to a strike!

haha actually i enjoy riding the Regional Rails, especially since the line i take is on the NEC. Get to pass by one of my favorite railfanning spots (Frankford Yard). Also located something that I had heard about but wasn't sure actually existed. A person has a collection of historical rail equipment at a warehouse along the Corridor, with several cars, a caboose, Amtrak coach, as well as a locomotive (couldn't get anything useful for identifcation) stored outside in full view of passing Amtrak and Septa trains

Yes indeed. And I agree wholeheartedly that Hospice is great. They did a wonderful job of supporting the family this past week.

Now the work here begins, as we've agreed to hold an open house for family and friends here at our home Saturday (her mom didn't want a funeral).

Glad that the situation has come to an acceptable resolution. It's never easy to lose a family member, but it's a lot better if everyone understands and accepts it. That's why I'm a big support of Hospice - they help families prepare for the inevitable. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Let's hope that the open house is a celebration of what she brought to all of you, which it sounds is what she would have wanted.

....Better figure out something for "diesels" to run on except fuel oil with the price of it....Still 3.29 here in Muncie.
And speaking of McCartney doing the extended uninterupted performance.....Way back when....saw Presley perform at the then International Hotel Casino in Vegas and he worked the same way....Poured it out for hours until the sweat poured off him and he didn't stop.....An excellent performance....Our money's worth for sure.

Paul Harvey sez: They have figured out diesel engines will run on coconut oil....

Hmmmm - possibilities - no more diesel smell on engines - just the smell of a good cookie? I'm waiting for the "will run on chocolate!"

And A Tip Top of the Morning to You All,

Well, had an interesting night last night. Got to go see a living legend perform at the Pepsi Center. Quite a knightly fellow, too. Of course, I speak of the legendary Sir Paul McCartney.

It was wild though. He played some stuff from a band he was in before Wings. Some insect or something. Anybody ever hear of them? [(-D]

Seriously though, I thought his last concert here was a touch better, but he's still quite an act. The guy rocks for 3+ hours without taking any kind of intermission. I think some younger performers could stand to learn a couple things from a guy in his 60's (though he sure doesn't look it or act it).

Well, I guess this is a contribution towards our upcoming milestone. Can't wait to see the party when we get there!

Hope you all have a great day!
