Hmmm - frosted Chicken - wonder if that comes in a Mug?

You are right - I would take vacation and sit here for hours and watch the new fishbowl and laugh and laugh!

^~^ ..... do I smell the remaining odor of.......RAT? Did we have something awful in here over the weekend? If Bergie was in here, he must have been "hunting".

Anyway, another week of eating and fun. I'm ready.

Bad/good part about this forum - when there is bad weather, I have my map out checking on all my friends. Good part is I am finally learning some geography. My 4th grade teacher would be pleased!

Good morning, everyone! Well, here it is Monday morning, and it looks
like we're going to have a sunny day!!

Breakfast this morning: your choice of: sausage, biscuits & gravy, fried
taters or hash browns; or you can have sausage/turkey bacon & pancakes.

The juice and coffee are ready, while you decide what you want for your
breakfast.

...Bad weather this season should not be a surprise....It's been terrible in unusual types of weather and of course so destructive to human life and property. Our area just had some rain and rather strong winds overnight and still vigorous wind forecast for most of the day....maybe up to 50 mph at times but it's not near that now.

A little closer now, and getting closer every day. [;)]

Zach called last night but because of my dead cell phone battery and his tornado we didn't get to talk. I have not heard from him today but I believe all is ok with him since I have not read about any tornados in Missouri.

Kevin is talking with him right now. Kevin's report about Zach is 3 shingles blown off the roof, heavy rain and wind. So he and his dad are ok, which is GOOD. [:)]

There were some killed in two other states, so we need to remember their family in our prayers.

Everyone take care.

Seems that we got the remnants of a more severe storm
that struck around the Evansville,In. & Henderson,Ky. areas;
around 1:00-1:30 this a.m.
Several deaths from a mobile home park, and quite a bit of
damage to a "horse racing track". (Ellis Park)

Well, Joe, we've had thunderstorms and/or rain since about 4 a.m., and it is
raining hard again. Under a tornado watch until about 11 a.m. Quite windy,
too.

Sunday brunch: all the regular breakfast menu items, plus doughnuts, and
apple-cinnamon and blueberry muffins.

Thuinderstorms and heavy rain here in southeast WI.

Actually the rain started minutes after the Delavan High School soccer team lost the state championship in a very tough 1-0 game. The last time that happened, my wife's older son was the goal keeper in a double over time shoot-out. It is really tough on the seniors because ther is no "wait until next year". They are still the best bunch of kids you could ever meet. They take to heart that scholar comes first in "scholar-athelete", and they character they display puts this old guy's mind at peace.

After the game I met up with wife Linda and family friends for a wedding reception and dinner at the University Club in Milwaukee. The food and service was right up to the standards of the Depot Diner, but the facility is, well, at least a little up scale from our diner. On the other hand, there are no trains anywhere close. Give a little, take a little.

Keep the powder dry.

Did I hear some one talk about SNOW?? I'm ready for that!! I want to go snowboarding, and I want to play some neigboorhood ice hockey!!!!! The only thing I don't like about the snow is the dumb drivers, this is why I tend not to drive too much in the snow, even though I have a 6 inch suspension and body life on my truck, I don't trust other drivers. Plus my area has too many hills and valleys, so I tend not to drive on them in the snow, thus which sort of gets on my nervous because, I can't do as much railfaning as I'd like to.

WoW! There wasn't too much activity here in the diner today, I guess everyone was out enjoying the nice weather. Over here in PA it got up to 70 something degrees, with the exception of the mountains. It's susposed to be nice here all next week.

Well I'm off to nite nite, so see everyone later on today it's 12:17 am here.

We have a chance of rain here late night in Louisville. Possibly a little bit
of rain Sunday morning. Right now, our streets are dry. Hope everyone
enjoyed supper tonight.

Currently have some corn popping on the stove, so if anyone wants some
popcorn, come on in to the Diner, and we'll fix you up a big bowl, and
whatever soft drink/pop/soda you want with your popcorn.

Well, hello everyone!! Been busy all day, getting errands done. Have only
been home for about 1/2 hour. It's good to know that I can be away for a
bit, and see that you all keep everything cleaned up!! Mutt, you did a great
job keeping everything going smoothly in here, while I was out. Thank you,
so very, very much!!

Supper tonight: an Italian hamburger casserole called "Tomato Basil Penne."
I'll have it ready about 6:30, EST.

Jim,
I was hoping that she would have had a lunch menu up
by now,but I KNOW that there is plenty of "fixins" for
sandwiches in the cooler;so until she gets back from "errands"
looks like its fix what you want. Just be SURE to clean
up any and all messes made !![:D]

She has discussed the OTHER ,but I'm certainly NOT going
to let the "cat" out of the bag.[:-,][(-D]
