Joe,

I already knew what al fresco meant: I just wanted to tease mudchicken (or would
that be "iron"chicken[?] I do remember some of my science and what Fe means[:p][}:)]

Some coffee chat for the day. This from the This Day In History site:

June 18

1959 The first telecast is transmitted from England to the United States.

1980 The Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi premieres.

2000 Tiger Woods wins the U.S. Open by a record of 15 strokes.

I wish I could put a "Tiger" in my tank. [:D] And get 15 mpg more than what my truck now gets. [;)]

Yeah. He trades off between being rusty and dusty. Frankly, I think he should have no feathers - would make him easier to spot and catch! That critter does move fast!

Guess I can come out of the corner now. With all that good Cincinnati soap, yes we are getting all rust colored. Day 3 of rain in Denver and still loving it!

And congrats Joe! - I'm convinced Matt made you do it!

(Denver Water has come up with a classic public service announcement commercial: With "Hail to the Chief" playing in the background and an American flag as a backdrop, a message scrolls down the screen advising Bush, Kerry and the others that "mudslinging" in Denver will not be allowed in Denver this year, there is a Drought going on and we all must conserve water![(-D]....Odd, have not seen that commercial since Tuesday![%-)][%-)][%-)])

I'm not exactly sure what Slippy pot pie is,but when we have chicken & dumplings aroud here, they are homemade, not store bought. CW makes the best dumplings that I've ever tasted.[;)][:)]

I am a noodle type guy lol. What I mean is . . . I really like chicken and noodles over chicken and dumplings. Sorry, just the way I am. [:p]

Dad use to make some very good "Goulosh" or however you spell it. You know, hamburger meat, tomato sauce/tomatoes, shell macaroni, onions. It was very good. I really miss it. He made it so well. [:p]

And dad's southern fried chicken was "to die for" and let's not forget the chicken gravy. His mashed potatoes were pretty darn good too. BTW, when he wasn't fighting in WWII he was one of the cooks. He said he would rather fight than cook because their cookstoves would blow up on them. General Patton went through his food line one day and told my dad to "get a hair cut". Now he doesn't need much when it comes to a hair cut. [:0]

I had pizza earlier tonight, but for some reason I suddenly am hungry. Go figure. [;)]

I am not sure what that is either. But I personally made a pretty good chicken pot pie, not one of those "whimpy" all crust and some broth, with only a bite of chicken and one carrot hiding behind one green pea. Mine will fill you up, they are a MEAL all in themselves. Add a tossed salad and a drink and you have one heck of a good meal. [;)] [:p] [:D] mmmmmm mmmmm good.

Okay,

Let's have a good ole COUNTRY breakfast this morning: Fried chicken, mashed pota-
toes, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, canteloupe, and sliced tomatoes. Sound good, every
body? Maybe a breakfast like this will keep Jim going for awhile[:D][:p][}:)]
