I FORGOT TO MENTION!

Some people know that I have a part time job at Purkey's Toy Trains. But now, I hold a second job at Quizno's Subs. Not bad for a 15 year old. I needed a second job so I can get a vehicle sooner or later, and I am buying a PC soon. I can't wait!

I knew that but only because you told me last week. [:D]

Congrats on the new job. You are doing well Grasshopper. Keep up the good work. BTW, I like the one sandwich with the french dressing on it. I can't remember, I think maybe the Club something or something Club. Anyway that is my fav sandwich there.

Well Mookie, the old saying does go "death comes in threes". But let's hope it's a
looong way off for that third death. The two last week are ENOUGH for now.

Made chicken & dumplings yesterday. Want some for the diner/coffee shop? Can
make up some more if you like.

Chicken & Dumplings sounds like a great special.

Sure are a lot of great hits in the table-side juke box!

Jim isn't awake yet. Got in bed about 2 am and Duchess got me up around 7. It takes a while for me to get dressed---kinda hard when you are a "zombie". But now drinking some coffee and preparing to wake up for the day.

Now on the funny side: lol lmao, when I first read the "Made chicken and dumplings yesterday" what I thought I saw was lol "Mudchicken and dumplings yesterday", thought we had just "lost" another one. See what happens when you are up before your time. lol

No Jim,

I wouldn't dare use mudchicken: might make the dumplings taste NASTY.

Walt is laughing his a@# off, and it's causing his face to hurt even more than it has
been. He's aparently has a bottom tooth that's abcessed and the left side of his
face is so swollen, he looks like a chipmunk (or someone with the Mumps).

Maybe we need to feed him some more CHICKEN and dumplings (NOT mudchicken
and dumplings like Jim thought).

Mookie: DUSTY or iron-flavored? Let's hope no dirt or nails are in it.

Well, today was my first day at Quizno's. It was better than I thought it would be. Real nice people there, too many dishes. I was washing for a couple hours. When I thought it might be done, more dishes came!
My Summer is going to be mostly work. Oh well, I have something to keep me active. If I didn't have two jobs, I probably would sit in front of my computer, and get fat. But, that'll never happen, since I can now establish a regular workout schedual.

COFFEE PLEASE!

We will be taking Jim to the vet today and having him put to sleep. Oh, guess he is already asleep - well something to keep in mind.

Walt - sore teef is no fun! Makes your mouf hurt! But you knew that!

Rainy day in Lincoln - maybe a little precip for Denver area? BUT - you all are east, except the dreaded Dan - so brace yourself for more rain. Plus a little noise!

Taako salad for lunch? Sans beans. Mookie , well, never mind.

Jim, no MUDchicken & dumplings left.

DO have CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS left. And they were made with Cream of Mushroom
Soup this time, with only ONE can of Cream of Chicken Soup. Felt sorry for Walt, so
used what I had on hand instead of going to store for more Cream of Chicken soup.

No rain in Denver below I-70 so far...maybe today. Yard grass has gone half brown / dormant. Have gotten that "rolling potatoes up there" noise frequently, a light show and one or two drops on the pavement. Only people around me who have green lawns cheat on the watering restrictions. Denver is now 4 inches behind in precipitation for the year and we only average 16 inches a year. (Ed can get that much in two days!)

Well............since the weather channel can't forcast our weather very well and our local meatheads, I mean meteorologists can't predict the day of the week, this is a big appointment for La Mook - but will see what I can do. Maybe I can sacrifice a chicken!
Tell him to go really fast thru SE Nebraska and should be ok.

Good luck to Matt - keep us posted on how it goes!

Good, your first words, can you say train, thats right train.

Train freak, glad your getting into the job world and making some money. I'd love to get a job, but I've got to wait another couple of years before I'm minimum age.

Things are going farely well around here, hoping the WSOR local comes tonight or tomarrow. Can't say much either, got to go soon. First, I'll take a cappucino, but better make it to go, I'm getting tired, must have caffeine.
