No kidding. I will be enjoying the longer evening hours, though, when the weather cooperates. Picked up my bicycle last night, can't wait to start racking up the miles on the new odometer.

Good Tuesday morning everyone! Rather chilly this morning, so I've fixed a
big hot breakfast that includes, turkey bacon, sausage, biscuits & sausage
gravy, fried taters, scrambled eggs; or, you can have a nice hot bowl of oat-
meal.

Hope everyone has a great day today, and I'll be back in after Produce Day
is over. Let's hope I get us some goood veggies.

...a couple of shovels full of rigatoni please.

Going north tomorrow and will check on Chris if I get the chance. Yesterday they had a 1300 Acre range fire at Rocky Flats in between us. Maybe he was at baseball opening day or he is just letting the smoke out.

Sarah, along with the other dessert for tonight, I've just taken some cinnamon rolls
out of the oven for tonight. So have a few, if you so desire. Anyone else who wants
some cinnamon rolls are more than welcome to help yourselves, also.

It is very cloudy and overcast here this afternoon. Our current outside temp is 49
degrees, and the wind is very brisk. Low tonight/in the morning is to be in the mid
30s. Guess we're going into Dogwood Winter, as the old timers would say.

Hold it what is this I'm hearing about tornado watches in Western PA?? I wasn't awere that PA received any tornado warnings. Well, I shouldn't say that because one ripped through Philadelphia in 1972, I wasn't born then, unfortunately. Well, Nora Stay Safe.

Weather over here in southeastern PA, is kind of interesting. It is drizzeling over here, and is pouring in some areas. It isn't no were near as bad as what others received like the Ohio Valley, though. I would like to see a good sized thunderstorm. I haven't seen one in a long while and would like to go watch my river rise.

CW can I have a cinnimon roll for desert tonight? I missed the breakfast cinnimon rolls yesterday morning. [:(]

Looks like we're in it for the 'good' weather tonight. The line has already generated tornado watches in western PA (Nora?!?), and since is relatively warm and humid, it could be an interesting evening...

Better get some supper in me before the fun begins. That rigatoni will the spot... [dinner]

Randy, got plenty of the rigatoni, so you've got a take-out container in the fridge
with your name on it. And that will leave plenty of the rigatoni and the Asian
dish for supper tonight.

Wondering about Chris (copcarss also. Even emailed him to see if he's o.k.,
haven't heard from him yet.

Afternoon all.......

No wild weather here in the Mad City, just wild traffic, the city closed the main drag out through the east side of Madison for the weekend to change out a railroad crossing. Went down there this weekend to watch the fun, and got my taxes done at the same time (the H&R Block next to the tracks was dead). Was pretty cool watching them do thermite welds and installing the concrete panels, never knew they used rubber mats under the panels.

I'll take a plate of the rigatoni for work tonight, CW, sounds good for a Monday.

Wonder what Chris (CopCarSS) is up to??

Brother Carl is off work today - and absent from the forum and e-mail. CW you will have to get hold of Jim and check that he is ok.

So unless BC fell off his bike, I am going to hazard a guess and say he is ok.

Quentin - I saw Indianapolis with bad weather heading toward there on the weather map and then Muncie not that far away. But of course, they had to do their prime time whatever and I had to go to bed. So didn't get to see what happened after that! Glad you and Jean are ok.

Gonna be a l-o-n-g spring kiddies!

Looks like we're still waiting to hear from JHH and Carl. Sure hope they are
both doing all right, after the storms last night.

Adding something new to the menu today for lunch: Sausage and tomato rigatoni,
and a Beef noodle dish, that is an Asian dish. I know several people here who like
broccoli, will like this Asian dish. It also has beef sirloin steak strips in it.

Dessert today will be Easy Oreo Cheesecake.

....Well I just touched the wrong key and lost a whole listing of what happened last night....so we'll quickly do some of it again: First off, thanks Jen for concern....We're fine. It was nasty, nasty dangerous stuff. 82 mph winds recorded down in Indianapolis and it ripped open a high rise up at the 25 to 35 or so story level...Building is totally closed now. We dodged a bullet here. Jean and I had made our plan "A" ready...{the strongest location in the house}, but we got lucky and didn't get hit with the extreme....Don't really know how much damage has been done around our state but it has to be considerable.....We're even under a tornado WARNING right now for the next hour...Wind is rather brisk, It was mostly clear several hours ago. A warning means a tornado HAS been spotted in the area somewhere. But we're fine. Hope everyone of the diner customers on here is likewise....

Good morning, everyone! Well, we made it through the storms last night. For awhile,
the NWS radio was going off every few minutes. Quite a downpour, with thunder,
lightning, hail, and wind. Had a tornado warning for a bit over in the eastern part of
Jefferson County. Need to remember and call my sister, and make sure they're all
right this morning.

Curently, we are at 60 degrees, but the temp is to start dropping, and around early
evening, be down in the 40s.

Switchfrg, so glad you enjoyed the apple pie. Did you try any of the cake? Looks
like half of it is gone, so someone must have enjoyed it!

Breakfast this morning will be: sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy.

As Mookie said, everyone PLEASE check in, so we know everyone made it through
the storms last night!!

I don't need to a calendar to tell me when Spring's here - at the local DIY store you can see husbands with that haunted look in their eyes, remembering (or being helped to remember) that new kitchen/bathroom they promised their wives months ago. Underlines the natural artfulness of wives, suggesting that while their husbands are watching football, being answered with a "yes dear" to shut them up - well fellas, now you gotta deliver !!

Us folks here in Northern KY are fine, Mookie.
We did have one of the most terrible wind gusts that I believe I have ever been through for this area. Just a few loose limbs that fell out of the trees was about it.

We really didn't have much lightning where we are. Just some major wind. The electric went out about 15 minutes before Grey's Anatomy was over. So we weren't to happy about that.

Take Care All,

^~^ - I have been posted at the door to do a foot count! So be sure you let me know who belongs to those feet and I will check you off as you come in.

We must find out ASAP that all of our forum people are safe!

On a lighter and happier note - we got gobs of rain - nothing seriously battering and it washed all the BNSF locomotives here and Millie, too!

Indy and fun? That's kind of an oxym... Oh wait. I remember that back in the days of my midlife childhood, I went to the 500 with a couple of friends, a trunk full of beverages and the ca***o get into the infield. I behaved myself.

Ah, these days I am sure having coffee at the Starbucks on the Butler campus will be all the fun I need.
