That may be orgasmic in nature.  Well above the wave.

At least an order of magnitude above the wave!

I'm actually surprised that the topic of "mooning" trains hasn't come up yet in this thread or being mooned by train crews. I have see several train crews moon each other at one time or another and if memory serves there is an annual ritual of mooning Amtrak in Southern California.

See, I told you we weren't done yet...

Oh, and Willy, I'm up for 20...

I went train watching earlier this afternoon and saw eight trains. I got a wave from six of them. Two of them also gave a few blasts on the horn. That should prove that waving is still alive and well.

LC - Why stop at 17 when we could go to 20?

Anyone notice the waiving engineer on the left side of the locos?

I was waiting the whole time to see if a conductor would asked Bob if he liked movies about gladiators. Where's scrappy when you need him?

Geez....Everybody's a film critic....I'm so depressed now, I'll have to go out...find a train, and wave at it.

Are they too busy picture-taking, or what?

Perhaps they were too busy snarfing down 2 dozen donuts , a barrel of KFC, and a gallon of chocolate milk.

Its hard for them to wipe their hands off on their jacket that has five billion stick pins on it.

Apparently so, I remember doing the frantic get off the track wave to one guy who had his tripod in the gauge!! He was apparently trying to take a photo of a steamer across the yard as we were shoving 40 cars towards him. I was riding the shove on the rear covered hopper (was working as a conductor that day). He never did wave to me. The cops did when they drove off with him in the patrol car though... Nice to have a yard only 6 blocks from the PD sometimes...

Why yes there was LC! A top ten hit in 1972 for Hot Butter, the song was called "Popcorn."

Now if we are lucky, there will be a remake done by Katrina & the Waves  Tongue [:P]
