That low pressure system is just dragging it's tail here, been raining at the house since at least Sunday, we are lucky to hit 60 right now.  Sun one minute, downpour the next.....

At the house a little early for my monthly hometime, but not by design.  Two weekends ago, cracked open the radiator in my semi, so had a loaner for a week (and found out I hate the T600-T660 body style).  Got it back last Friday, and had very little power all weekend, so shopped the truck Monday, and found out that I roasted both turbo chargers to a crisp.  It's still in the shop.....

Not doing much today, just recovering, will probably start on some household projects tomorrow, I want to get a ceiling fan installed in my sisters bedroom, and while I'm up in the attic, duct the bathroom fan outside.  Should be straightforward......

See everyone later....

That spinning low is spinning off occasional showers here, too.  Just had a little 'freshet' of just .04" - enough that I had to give up on some outside activities.  I'd like to pour a little concrete, but it may have to wait until next week, as I'm on the railroad all weekend.

May be a little nippy over the weekend.  Good thing the heater in the locomotive works better than the A/C...

Good Thursday morning everyone.   We're in the mid 50s this morning, going for a high of about 79 degrees this afternoon.  Should be a nice day, until another front comes in this evening, bringing some rain, and then tomorrow, our high will be in the low 60s.

Coffee, juices and other hot beverages are fresh and ready to go.  And for anyone who is still having warm mornings, there are cold beverages as well.  On the warmer/serving station this morning:  bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, tater tots, biscuits & gravy, along with a few bagels and bear claws.

Had to do an antivirus update on the computer first thing this morning, so we should be good to go for now.  May do a little bit more laundry later on.  That will probably be all I do today, other than cooking for here in the Cafe/Diner.  Anyone have any food suggestions for me?  Always open to suggestions from you all.

Everyone have a good morning, take care, and see you all after a bit.

Peace be with you. 69 and haze in Carolina, expected to get arond 90 later.

I stalled a registry cleaner on our computers. My newly reinstalled OS had over 400 errors and the wife's machine had nearly 4700! Both are now running so fast we get headaches. Wish  had known about this little jewel long ago.

Everyone take care and have a great safe day

....Tom, tell us a bit more about the registry cleaner.  I believe it is something I studied a bit about some time ago, but was reluctant to go with it.  Where to get it....Which one....just a little more info please.

52 degrees to start our day.....Sunshine now.

Waiting for grass to dry....Have a "window" between when it dries, and possible rain this afternoon to get my lawn mowed.  It has really gotten way ahead of me because of some wet weather the last few days.

So green, and growing so fast now...It will be tough to get it done and look decent.  Bummer.

Pork roast and sauerkraut with mashed taters.  Or beef roast with taters & carrots.

Sauerkraut eaters will need to sit outside in the garden.....

Beef tips & noodles is my choice. Then a coconut cream pie would be good.

Quentin, try this Url:

www.systweak.com/MobileRegistryCleaner/default.asp

Basically, it does a scan of your registry, tells you how many and what kind of errors it finds, and then clck to fix. Mine takes about 3 minutes total. The system runs much faster and is a delight to use now. I highly reccomend it. Currently, $14.95, regularly $29.95

....Anyone interested, take a look over on the Roanoke cam.  We have what looks like....a N S  Exectutive / inspection train tied down for the overnight.  Four power units....an A B B A set...Perhaps E's.  Can see just one passenger car.

Good Friday morning everyone.  Starting out the morning with a temp of 58 degrees.  High today is supposed to be only about 64 degrees F. w/partly cloudy skies.  Should be a very good start for our annual St. James Art Fair, which starts at 10 a.m. this morning, and will run until Sunday afternoon.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go.  On the warmer/serving station this morning:  bacon, sausage & eggs.  That's about all that I haven't gotten packed up and ready for our move.

Everyone have a good morning, keep warm and take care.  See you all later on.

....52 degrees started our day earlier, and it's overcast.  Just a very fine mist.  Radar shows we might get rid of the clouds by afteroon.

Special pass train has departed from the Roanoke scene early this morning.  Speculation has it, it might have been a colored leaf special for the weekend.

The 4 engines of A B B A configuration was something different...I'd guess they were E's.

The first round of our Friday Fish Fry is now on the warmer/serving station. All the regular kinds of fish, sides and desserts.  Hope you all enjoy.

Made an early morning trip to the grocery, and man, it was nice in there:  hardly any customers, so managed to get in and get out and home in an hour!  Believe me, that doesn't happen very often.  Our current temp is 60 degrees, with the sun peeking out every once in awhile.  Quite breezy out, though.

Good Saturday morning everyone.  We have a chilly 44 degrees here in Louisville this morning.  High is supposed to get up to the mid to upper 50s, with a very cool breeze from the north today.  (At least we have the heat going in the house, now.  Walt and I got the furnace cleaned, and new filter in it last night.  Now our house is nice and toasty warm!  Can't believe we had to break down and turn on the furnace on 9/30/11, when we usually don't have to turn on the heat until 10/31.

Coffee, juices, hot chocolate are fresh and ready to go.  You also have hot cocoa, hot cider and hot water for hot tea.  On the warmer/serving station this morning:  bacon, sausage, country fried ham, grits, toast, scrambled eggs, buttermilk biscuits w/sausage gravy, pancakes/waffles w/syrup for your Saturday morning Brunch.

Hope you all have a very good day, take care whatever you have planned for today, and I'll see you all back here this evening, for our Saturday pizza fest.
