While not exactly up to par with some of the others on this thread, here's two I kinda like from my layout:

Here are a couple of photos that I think are pretty representative.  Please note the cat on the porch roof in the 2nd photo.

Hope you like them.

Here is my first portion of my  railroad with senery in place.  Having even a little bit of the scenery 'done' is a huge feeling of accomplishment.  Wow is all I can say, and a tip of the hat to all those who have done so much with their layouts!

I hope you all don't mind. I've been putting these into my screen saver at work. I'll be inspired when I'm daydreaming long enough for the saver to kick in.

Joe-daddy,

Nice job on the retaining walls. I like that the effect having some leaning from the hillside.

Here you go!

In this scene, a hot northbound intermodal pauses so the crew can get a quick bite to eat at the local diner (across the street from the station in the picture) while an awestruck citizen looks on. You can almost hear the pop-off valve as the air compressor cycle begins on this CSX Dash 8-40CW!

I have enjoyed the many great pictures posted in this thread! You guys got talent!

I won't say it's my "best", but it looks okay to me.  The photo shows the eastbound Heartland Zephyr making its stop in Prairie View.  Looks like ridership has increased since the new Budd cars have been assigned to this train.

I would like to see your layout when you have scenery on it Mark. I always see you have a pretty big layout?
