Hmmm, okay, let's see, paint it Tuscan Red, add a pantograph, a head light, some gold stripes, a Keystoone emblem, two sets of trucks , and two Kadee couplers, one on each end, andf I think we're in business!

Does this"talky toaster" come in only a DCC sound version system or is also offered in a Blue Line version also?

I heard a rumor that several manufacturers may offer the new "talky toaster" engines with the choice of RR liveries, choice of steam, diesel, or GG1 electric version, also choice of programmable sound decoders, standard paint jobs or weathered and in N scale and HO scale.
Also that the engines come with discount coupons to Elliots Trackside Diner so you can have your choice of White, Wheat, Rye, Raisin, or Pumpernickel toast with your morning coffee.

concretelackey,

Sorry but the HO sesame seed buns are on BACKORDER as well as the Z mayo.
The train got stuck on a 4% grade that should have been a 2% grade. They apparently don't subscribe to Trains.com Forum and thereforehad to learn the hard way.

Besides they had about 50 cars coupled behind an old Bacmann 4-6-2 and the pooor thing just took one look at that grade and burned up as it started up.Rumor has it, a new can motor is on order for it.
Perhaps someone on the forum will loan the use of a good BLI J1 to push the whole train on up the grade and over to Elliots  Trackside Diner, otherwise sounds like supper and breakfast time are not going to be a happy affair at the diner.
It's also been suggested the grade be removed and replaced with a new 2% W/S grade kit.

Here's a shot of my new homebrew DCC system.

I had a little trouble getting the top back on, but I always figure the more wire, the better.

How about some pictures of it on the layout in all its glory?

Black toast popping up, streaming smoke behind it, would look very realistic! LOL!
What RR is it pulling for?

All good things come to an end.  Let's get on with other ideas, fellow members.
