The graphics version is much better than the text version I previously received. Obviously I enjoy receiving the Model Railroader e-mail each week even though I don't want HTML e-mails from other sources as I take the view that if I want to see the "bells and whistles" I will go to the web page.
I look forward to more of the new format and will watch your future development of it.

Great. I think the other letters have said it all. I find it easy to navigate.

It's about time the editor authorized this the text version was almost annoying to read.

The new HTML format is easy to read and well organized. It doesn't require wading through alot of text to get to the meat of the subject!

The new format is fine. I also agree about increasing the size of the video clips. But (and you knew there was a 'but' coming, didn't you), what happened to MR Express? I enjoy the brief articles. They have given me some great ideas. Please continue with them.

Dear Bergie or any addministrator guy,
I got a new e-mail address and updated my profile but I haven't been getting any newsletters that I checked off (i.e. railroading, scale model trains). Is there a problem? Help!

I wonder if Yahoo is blocking our e-mails to you. We'll look into that. Since we send so many e-mails, some ISPs thinking we're spamming and block our e-mails. We had that problem with AOL a few months back. We had to contact them and confirm our e-mails are opted-in to at the users request. We'll check Yahoo.

It's o.k., Bergie. I got the newsletter today and I must say it looks fantastic. Keep it up![:D]

Great new format! A lot easier to read and find things of interest in! You guys really do a good job - I buy Model Railroader every month at my Wal~Mart! Our mail mangles magazines - that's why I prefer to buy it over the counter!
Keep up the good work!

Erik,

This happened to me in the past but it was my old ISP's (Inforamp) new anti-spam software deciding that anything coming from yahoo groups was spam. Never could get them OR yahoo to work around this, so I changed ISP's when I got the cable modem.

Take care,

Eric:

Since I'm not a bells and whistles type I'm not wildly impressed with the email makeover. The younger 'readers' likely will find it pleasing.

I would comment that the frames are not wide enough to fill the page. That should be easy enough to fix. Also I'd like to see all the hotlinks the same color and type face throughout, perhaps with a distinctive icon of their own. Another thing, the popup ads are annoying. Once per visit is OK but they seem 'unwilling' to take no for an answer. I like the that the new product section has more graphics and I specially like having the manufacturers websites hotlinked. Well done on that feature. The pages seem to load well enough over my 56k dialup modem.

The worst aspect: the video files will not load, nor will the PDF files. I continue to get a disconnect message from the sender side of the pipe. I wrote about this some time ago to the site manager and have gotten no response. Thus, I presume, no human on your end cares to look in to the matter. I do not have this problem with any other websites and regularly get emails with both video clips and PDF files. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has this particular problem.
