Definately siding her, unless I can find a suitable other for a transplant.
I think it's LMCO (Laughing my Caboose off), or London and Manchester Chesapeake and Ohio. :P
Glass of milk, cold, SP glass, and a C&O Chocolate Shake please. It's a frikken 92 degrees here in Indy.

Thanks Jeff. I feel younger already. My birthday yesterday was only my 29th. Terrific!
That's right, grasshopper Garry! And some of us are way beyond 29....
Some of us have a ways to go.
I turned 13 on the 22nd as people know-Just a reminder.
Afternoon all
First let me give well wishes to all with serious situations and hope everything works out for the best.
to the newbies and this Diner sure is safer than the main line out there.
Jeff take care.
Garry And just which 29th birthday is it??
Ok,I have some pics from Grattan raceway where I got to meet JR and will post some the next few days. It isn't RR but it will show you what JR is into. They are all taken from the same spot as it was a lllooonnnggg walk to another one and they aren't the greatest but I tried.
That's it for now
Talk to you later

Pie?
Your running with low boiler water and a hot fire.
*Alarms go off, red lights start flashing* Cloe those pies about done? They are. Ok. you better let PC take them out.
pcarrell wrote:Now thats a great pic Jeff! What camera did that? (You probably have several by now!)
That shoots a darn fine pic there!
Now, how 'bout them pies?
Hey all.
Jeff: Amazing shots! I don't think anyone has the right to pick on you now!
Well I gotta go,
Mark
Good evening, Chloe. Any chance of a slice of apple pie that PC didn't get? Yes, quickly! - plop a dollop of ice cream on that and let me have it, quick! Oh yeah, and a cup of coffee.
Thanks a bunch!

What, Duke, you didn't get any closeups of the cars going by you (say, about 3 feet away)? Ah, well...
Hey, Jeff - I think that new pic is great, and even your older ones beat the ones I've been posting lately. (Oh, wait - that's right, I haven't been posting any!) Good pic - about makes me want to get a PA (well, almost - my line's pretty much an all EMD shop).
Fairly busy day at wk; needed to go out twice to assess people (one in a.m. at a jail, one in the afternoon at a residential care facility). Neither one had to be hospitalized. Then when I got back to the office from the afternoon run (inside of a half hour until quitting time), I had two calls from clients to return. Got them calmed down and only ran ten minutes late in leaving. Thankful for the Big Boss' help on all that.
Rob, keep hanging in there. We're keeping you in our thoughts & prayers (and your wife as well).
Hope Ed isn't getting too much of Felix's rains and it's way south of him (and stays south of him). Actually, for the sake of the folks that way, hope Felix fades out ASAP!
Ouch, the Cardinals slipped last night! At least the Cubs and the Brewers also lost, so the Cards stayed same number back from first.
I need to get working tonight on a lesson that I'm supposed to lead on Sunday for the singles class (at another church, I was just visiting the class, honest!). But Chloe, could I have another cup of coffee first? Thanks - I'll finish this cup and then go.
Blessings,
Jim in Cape Girardeau

Sorry gals, this'll go as soon as it's no longer needed
Good Evening Coffee Clubbers,
Another beautiful day here in Paradise. And, unfortunately, another day with no progress on the layout, although I did make up a train and ran a few laps, just to keep the railheads clean.
CG Jim: Hope Ed isn't getting too much of Felix's rains and it's way south of him (and stays south of him). Actually, for the sake of the folks that way, hope Felix fades out ASAP!
Now that we haven't had any significant rain in a couple of days, and with the threat of a visit by Felix gone, we can start thinking about heading out to the orange grove and checking on the crop. I'll keep you updated.
No more photos today, I need to edit and upload some more.
Later
Ed
Best of luck on the crop.
hey, would the Elliot mind if the Diner were to be homaged on my HO&N line? (if we ever put track down...)

Doesn't even phase me! I married my dream girl!
And besides.....you're talking about pie!
I'll have the usualin a Southern mug tonight,
and a BIG slice of , please & thank you!
***Duke, those are neat autos. What fun! I remember when I was a wee lad, doing a rally with an Unlce who had a cool MG & numerous Minis. I loved riding with him in his custom MG. He had his friend take me down Brea Canyon (I think that is what the steep windy road was called) in his racing Mini and it was definitely a rush.
***Jeffrey, extra nice pic there.
I was going to find a train headed west, but the tracks are too far away. Then the wife came home and gave me a present she found while out with "It" today. She gave me a Train Flag. It looks like a green European Loco, even though it says Southern #32 on it's side. Looks like an 0-6-4 with built in mini-tender area under the rear trucks. It's pulling three small passenger cars. Although not something I would have spent any money on, it shows her big heart, (and maybe some guilt for bringing "It" here). I know, I'm not being very kind, but YOU try walking on eggshells in your own home, wondering what will set off that Jekyll/hyde switch Rant is over now. Thinking HAPPY thoughts.
mmmm...excellent pie! Rob

well, there;s the messier alternative...
*Large tin of whipped cream lands squarely on pc, so neither of the girls would have to clean it*

***I had thought about doing that one, too. Then decided it would not be the best Diner to serve my future mini towns main food source, Soylent Green. I see nothing wrong with an Elliots Diner on someones layout, but I haven't been here long enough to count.
I'm anxious to show you all what have for my porch. Will kinda tie in with this place.
Evening Gang:
Jeff: I missed the goings on at WPF. I'll say this though. I think that you have fun and enjoy yourself. Your photos have given me a shove to get some things going and besides that I enjoy them. As for those others there they can suck an egg. You just keep those photos coming here where they are appreaciated. We'll be richer and the others will be poorer. Most important take care of yourself. Just consider the source. By the way, how did those Uncle Petes sneck in? ( I clicked on it. )
I spent another day playing heavy equipment operator. That big wheel loader bucks like a bronc going down the road. We have moved about 300 yards of fill and finished the washout. We may go back later with the dump trailer and add some more fill to the creek side. Tomorrow we have to clean out the creek crossings and patch some spots that are rough. Well I'm going to bed. My upper back is aching so I'll give it a rest.
Good Night All

Good, cause I've got a coach in mind. (And because it came up on one of the first pages, a caboose as a church. :P
Good evening everyone, visited the LHS today in Warren, Ma, Bob is back from vacationing on the coast of Maine. I picked up a couple of Atlas Trainman New Haven 70 ton 9 panel Hoppers, $12.95 each. The detail is surprisingly good, metal wheels, weighted nicely, hard to beat for the price. I also picked up more ME code 83 track and another book to read, Steam Locomotives of the New York Central Lines.
The garden is turning into a "dust bowl", I have one soaker hose going night and day so that the Butternut squash develops properly before harvesting laster this month. The Broccoli is hanging on nicely, as well as the Green Peppers, but everything else is just about history except for two Zuchinni plants.
I finally settled on a swing gate for the layout, I was inspired by whay Ryan had done. I was unable to use this type until I reorganized the work area to allow for a swing open gate. I picked up the materials for that today and work starts tomorrow pending any changes in the HDJ.
JEFF: I missed that thread, what was it? I don't recognize the coding. I like what the new camera is producing, you will be very busy with that model.
ED: Glad to hear that even the rains will miss you. From what the WC was showing yesterday, it sure looked like the heavy rains would get you.
STEVE: Glad to see you back in the Diner ....what have you been up to??
I have a thread in the General Forum that seems to have many of the MRR's stumped. I am trying to find if anyone makes/has made, 2-6-6T and 4-6-6T in HO scale. I am not having much luck searching, and it seems like no one else knows anything either. This were Double Enders, used on the B&A ( later owned by the NYC ). You can see a photo of the engine and integral tender on the thread that I started.
The wife is all excited...the Red Sox just scored 4 runs, I have to go see hwat that is all about.... later guys !!
gotta go. One for the road Chlo?
thanks
For those who are interested, here's some of my locos.
Can I have that SP B unit?
Joking... I need to get one for my E9 though...
Hey PC Pie over here!.......

Hey y'all.
How about a nice mug of chocolate milk? Thank ya.
NORFOLK SOUTHERN UPDATE:
Only a week and a half until I head down to McDonough, Georgia to start training. Got The Cherry Bomb, my car, in the shop gettin' new tires, brakes, oil, coolant, belts, and a good goin' over to make sure that she's ready for the 700 miles down, followed by who knows how many miles around Georgia, and then 700 miles back home. I'm gonna say 1500 miles plus easily on my ROAD TRIP for trains.
Rob: Yes, I still plan on dropping by the farm when I'm down there. I don't know when exactly, I'll have to see how the whole training schedule goes. But I'll be down there from the 16th to around the 29th or 30th.
I'm out y'all. Have a good one.
