Whats your favorite railroad?

I guess that I too fall into the ever popular 'Other' category. Easy choice for me... The EJ&E.

Other favorites would be similar type roads... B&LE, DMIR, URR, BS, Illinois Terminal.

As a major electric fan, it's a New Haven/PRR tie in North America at least.

When it comes to Europe I'm partial to DB, ÖBB, and SBB.

Northwest: NP and Milwaukee--talk about color schemes!
West Coast: SP of course, especially in the '40's and '50's. GO, DAYLIGHTS!
Southwest: Santa Fe (love those Chief's)
Midwest: MoPac and Cotton Belt
East: Pennsy and C&O (the Rio Grande of the Allegheneys)
All-time favorite: Denver and Rio Grande Western, the ACTION road, and I don't even live in Colorado! Their L-105's were the handsomest and most powerful Challengers ever built for anyone, anywhere, anytime! (Sorry, UP #3985)
