[/quote]I fired on the NJ after I got out of the service in the mid '50's. Back in those days the "fireman" was called a "featherbedder" because of the dieselization of the D&H and the Napierville Junction. We had two RS2's, built by the MLW, 4050 and the 4051 under license from ALCO. Fine little units. Some of my best memories are wrapped around that time period.
