In that case Fergie, how's your supply of ballast? I got a huge amount of crushed slag I can put in the 20 coal hoppers I'm returning to you. And there's a whole MESS of small Kubota tractors with snow removal attachments sitting on the Locust Point pier, on special crates designed for stacking in boxcars - ya think people in your region could maybe use a few of them?[;)]

inch - those wire coils are ready for you when your gons arrive here.

CW - 15 empty coal hoppers [the bottom-opening type] are sitting on the interchange track for you, pick 'em up anytime!

KEN!?!?!

How on earth did those Kubotas get up there?!?!?! They make 'em here in GA, and I don't remember shipping them your way. Or was this some load that shipped out while I was off-shift? Anyway, we got some 20 or so loads of 'em here and more piling up for the spring season.

Noah

Got plenty of pulp down here, how much you need?

CW

Plenty of antique cars down here. Ready for the gold yet?

Got a few loads of foam insulation waiting for a buyer, need to ship it soon.

BTW, I've been unable to login the past couple days, so I had to do a little catching up.

Brad - I think these came from a vendor that does special aftermarket mods - they all have snow blowers built onto them, for clearing bike trails in the dead of winter.

All -
HELP!

I am in need of Continous Wield Rail for the new yard tracks here. (Fictionally speaking) CSX approached us about taking over the yard, Intermodal and all! I'm going to have one of my reps contact some folks in CA that want to build a bigger Intermodal Yard here and see if they're interested in taking over this operation and expanding it. (end of fictional story). Either way, I'm still in need of rail as we're going to expand the storage track part of the yard. Let me know who's got waht. The sooner these can come in the better. MOW crews have already started the site prep. I'll need ballast as well.

Brad, I will take you up on that offer of Pulpwood! Can you do three cars a week?

JP, I can supply you with a unit train or two of Ballast if you need it. We load about five to six cars and hour, so let me know if you are interested and how many cars you need(Up to around 50 per train, as that is all the cars the ARK has for ballast, and that includes borrowing some from the WSOR. So after that just tell me how many trains), and I’ll give you an ETA. Sorry I can’t help on the rail part though.

3 cars a week is easily doable. 1st 3 are on the interchange track now awaiting pickup by Southern Railway.

Ken

Can your Kubota shipper use some of the 25+ Kubota loads I got down here? My yard's nearly full! Kubota ships out like 5 loads a day.

Still awaiting a customer for the foam insulation, wood chips and asbestos.

I see a need for other railroads to join this thread to bridge my traffic around the nation to those who are not located near my area.

My interchanges are:

All traffic to and from the west coast via Wheeling Wva
All traffic to and from Great Lakes via Harrisburg PA (This includes all Canada Traffic by way of either Detroit MI or Buffalo NY
All traffic to and from the south (Fla to Tx) via Manassas VA

East coast ports and NE to Maine is via Frederick Md Sub that connects with the B&O

There are some offers to each railroad involved in interchange with me.
There are some offers being made to each railroad in interchange with me.
I tried best to determine geographical location to enable interchange but need better information.
I will consider new railroads and thier business as they come on line in this topic.

If there is some way of keeping everyone straight, I have each account on a notepad file on my computer and so far I think I have everyone, if I forgot someone, let me know and we will get the business correct.

************************************
************************************

This closes Falls Valley Railroad's work for the pages 1 - 6 of this thread. Any additional resulting business contracts will be processed this week for next week's traffic.

Also:

Interchange traffic is handled on a specific day of week.. example:

Wheeling WVa is set out and ready by Midnight of Sunday of every week, expects to have inbounds by Noon Monday

Harrisburg PA is set out and ready by Midnight Monday of every week, expects to have inbounds by Noon Tuesday

Manassas Va is set out and ready by Midnight Tuesday of every week, Expects to have inbounds by Noon Wedensday

Frederick Md Sub is serviced every day with set outs by Midnight and expects inbounds by Noon following day.

Confused yet???

Once I get skill in managing virtual trains I will be staggering interchanges with own trains daily.. but first things first....

Please post any corrections this upcoming week in following pages so I may address them on a case by case basis.

I think and HOPE my format is acceptable to all... it is very difficult to produce a traffic report in this particular situation but can learn if others have a better method.

Last week we had a 44 tonner involved in a wreck and needs refurbishment. We also have some older F units and RS3's for your shop. Can you use the asbestos for steam locomotive jacket lagging (insulation)?

Is Honest Sam ready for another load of Antique cars? We have located a Model T, a Model A, a Willys Jeep, and a few other items of interest. He says that with the price of scrap steel so high, he may ship out a few loads of crushed cars and whatever else he may have.
