Further.. are you able to bridge freight towards the NE?

Affirmative on NE routings!

Whatever scrap you can round up is greatly appreciated, I know I'm competing with Chinese steelmakers for a tight supply.

GDRMCo - Let me know how many carloads of steel coil your auto mfgr's need and I'll send them your way.

GDRMCo

Thanks! Looks like Ken is the Port of Entry then, I'll get the cargo out and those cars will reload inbound.

I will develop a train to set out by tonight for this account.

Ken,

Good Deal!

Fergie,

Still wondering about the virtual location. I do have your freight set up but not sure how to route it.

twcenterprises

Ok. I guess I'll see if the Mint in DC can take the bullion.

Due to the sudden increase in traffic I propose I use you as my western hub as I need facilities for servicing and re-distribution to all points West and South West.

I've had to hire additional staff to keep up on the orders.

Additionally! The MESS has aquired another several Locomotives to deal with this surge. The first one out of the shop, sometime tomorrow is the K4-m Pacific. Originally owned by Pennsy this engine has been modified for East Coast Environments.

The Golden State Railroad interchanges with UP, ATSF, BN, WP, D&RGW, CORP and SP. So we have 2 connections from the east (WP & D&RGW), 2 from southern California (SP, and ATSF) and 3 from the pacific northwest (UP, BN and CORP).

Fergie -
I think we can work out an agreement in that area. My set-up is similar to that of 'Progressive Rail' (the real one) out in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. I have plenty of yard trackage to hold both inbound and outbound shipments till you or the other customer are ready for them to be sent onward. All I'll ask is to send a couple of tank cars of fuel for my fuel rack, if that's ok with you.

As for the spreadsheet, Im going to attempt to make one. Once done, if anyone wants a copy, let me know and I'll email it to you. May be a few days till completed though.

My location is in the eastern suburbs of Syracuse NY USA.

The highway crossroads are I-81 and I-90.

As for rail connections, the major Class 1 is CSX. I also have sonnections to CN (@ Binghamton, Albany, and Buffalo NY), CP (@ Buffalo), NYS&W (they pick up and drop off at the CSX Yard in DeWitt NY where I get my shipments at), and FGLX (Solvay and Geneva NY), and NS (@ Buffalo, Binghamton and Albany NY) mostly via CSX.

Any questions, let me know!

Ok...

First off... I will generate a traffic report for Ken to handle the bridge traffic to both Fergie and GDRMco within a few hours. (Dinner time LOL)

I am sorry for being rather slow in running with the big dogs in this thread but was really amazed at the teetering and groaning traffic needed to keep up with all of this traffic. And I am running one train per interchange a day. Imagine what it would be like once I step up additional power and run thru to handle the crush of holiday traffic.

Mike - I had a talk with the farmers and they all agreed that cattle feed will be needed.

CW - I can pick up/drop off at Portland ME with the help of Fergie's MESS and CN or CP system. I can provide you with high quality cabinets fro the Kust Kabinet Comp and highly refined sugar for now. As the town grows more industries will provice more choices.

Brad - Honest Sam is very happy with this arrangement. He hopes to contribute something in the near future.

FERGIE (Interchanges with me on the Frederick Sub VIA Ken's Port of Baltimore)

Inbound

3 Carloads a week of Foundry Sand
LCL Maple Syrup

Outbound

6 Boxcars of Maritime Support (One each of: Rope, Twine, Foul Weather Gear, Chain, Cabling and Fittings)
4 Loads of Scrap

Masonjar's Europe Traffic? perhaps JPowell can handle that business.

4 Glass Bottles
4 Glass containers

CW, your traffic report looks right on for me.

The Local Lumber Company in Rivermoor, WI is still looking for 3-5 car loads a week of Pulpwood. They can ship out the same amount of Finished lumber then. Any takers?

Ken: The Paul W. Nelson will be loading on the 30. It will be getting 8760 long tons of specular hematite of about 56% iron. We have a standing order for coal for the mines in the area. Could you back load the Nelson?

We should be able to ship for another couple of weeks. It all depends on the weather. This last storm hasn't hurt the loading any. If the ice should get to thick we'll have to shut down.

Hey guys. The auto mfger needs about 80 coils a day, which equates to around 27 carloads. Also if you need more iron ore we can offer 300 a day.

What a coincidence, my steel mill happens to also be a merchant ingot distributor! I'll need a gondola for every 2 ingots so I can place them directly over the trucks. Another possibility: Send the scrap, then I can send some of the ingots back in your gons.
---
Paul - go ahead and send the Nelson, then I can route a few of Fergie's coal drags to the Curtis Bay caol pier and load her for the return voyage.
---
GDRMCo - I'll ramp up production on the coils. Maybe also, SierraRR could make up some of the difference and route his coils thru the Port of Baltimore? And, once the Great Lakes freeze over, I may need to get iron ore from you as well since Paul's vessels will be laid-up for the season.
---
Fergie - We can use 6 carloads of your Christmas trees here in the Mid-Atlantic.

LUCT ; cv hopper arrived last night. We'll get it headed back tonight or first run in the morning with cattle feed

CW ; could use 10 cars of coal this week, if you have any left. ship 3/4 white rock back. Have to check on what else is going on
Do you want the 2 loads of mixed scrap to bridge up to FERGIE

thats it for now . Have to go back through n check my notes when i'm more awake

Sierrarr, Idyllwilde Farms will definitley be needing your one extra produce car. However, the Gas Stations around here, especially Concord/Maynard Oils are really getting in need of Gasoline.

Inch, bagged or unbagged, either way. Erickson Grains will handle either, they can bag, but pre bagged lessens up their chores, they just stick on their own label and sell it to the waiting animals!

TO ALL;

...We use Portland, Or. as our west shipping point and ship all BEST WAY which is termenolgy for the shipping industry for " whatever " 'unless I get told who to use and where to interchange, that is how my shipments will go out. I just don't know which roads to use. We use GNSF for all points N.S.&E.
.........Have not set up Asain shipping as yet but all commodities go out in containers.

........................TUESDAY 13:30
Medical supplies are despertly needed all over Asia. All shipping charges for this traffic is free. Also all containers are supplied free for the asking. We are asborning all loading and longshoreman fees also shipping by BNSF is also.

.....Inch
We use all scraps for crabbing, no crabbing yet so 2 loads are on treir way and could yiu make that cattle feed, bagged on return.

.....Fergie
..................24-28-30-32 feet just hulls as we customize the boats.
P.S..Preffably alumumin I was told today.

Thank You and God bless ....... Chuck and Kathy

I think FERGIE has a fish proccessor, maybe I can get some dried fish scraps off him, most likely send it in pink CARS though

Forgot earlier, STILL NEED BONE MEAL bagged at least 1 box car a week. Later on they can take it in bulk, as their storage tanks aren't up yet

Inch - I'm ready for that scrap anytime you want to ship it.

Fergie - Are those trees coming in boxcars? If so, should I send them straight back to you after unloading, or spot them at Locust Point yard (Port of Baltimore) to accept any incoming sea traffic from GDRMCo that's headed your way?

CW - If you still need hoppers, I can use Bethgons for my coking coal traffic and free some up for you. Let me know. BTW- On the sugar, a labor dispute at Domino has suspended production indefinitely, better get whatever you can from Luc.

KENL ; 2 gon loads out early Fri for sure. The boys are trying to find some good help, if they get lucky, we can jump it to 3 cars a week. CAN you provide the 14 ga wire coils and racks for the return. Also there may be some crushed cars next week, 10 to 12 loads to start if you want them.

CW ; if your short of hopper cars , i can send your white rock on some of our lease cars. And you can send them back with the coal. What ever works best for you
