I dont think it would matter since the SW14 was made from SW7, SW9, and NW2 parts. The only reason I can think of that you would need to use a SW9 would be if they used its frame.

Victor, I hope you get the job.
I ordered a IHC 4-6-2 on Monday and I'm getting a Stewart F3 AB set for my B-day (which is a week away[swg]) I've painted 2 passenger cars. DTO has Life-Like coaches on sale for $9. I might get a few,, they look good after I paint them as CGW[swg].

Sounds good. Your 4-6-2 should be around 12" long. My 4-8-2 is 14 1/4" coupler to coupler.

Yeah.

I got a RTR NS GP38-2 saturday. It runs great but Im thinking of repowering it anyway. I also got 2 RTR 60' flat cars, one Mo-Pac and one BNSF.

I do to. Im planning on repowering and rewiring it anyway but I might wait until it grinds.

Yup, but Im still going to overhaul it. I saw a very interesting train yesterday. It was a single NS loco with a single UP passenger car. The car was UP's Omaha passenger car.http://www.northeast.railfan.net/images/up200.jpg

Yeah. I hope I get the job. Went to Holiday World Saturday for my Senior Class trip and I had blast. It was my first full day as a Free man. Seen a few trains. We went by a Nuclear Power Plant and the had a GP7/9 for a switch engine. NS serves it. It was big and only running half of its total output.
