Good. Another idea is to tell Ashley and Amber what the rules for trips are. Rules do not apply to personal parts of any trip.

I saw a few trains after school today. One of them had three UP engines on the point.

We also had a five train meet at Golden Gate saturday. One of the trains was a 30 to 35 car "K" Line stack with a single NS SD70M-2 on point.

I also worked on the layout/layout room sunday. I also painted my autorack primer and put a death star logo on it.

While on our last club trip we saw IC #8701 with an IC caboose on display. It was a great sight but something was wrong with the engine, They had instaled metal rods on the hand rails so kids could safley walk on it. This made me mad. It took away from the appearence of the locomotive.

Cool. I've got 15' of flextrack, 15' of cork, railjoiners, and 3 cans of Floquil caboose red on the way from hobbylinc. In a week I should be painting 1 of the GP30s[swg].

What's the biggest problem for me is turnouts. Flextrack isn't too expensive, but I'll need a lot of turnouts.

Hopefully I can get my layout raised up to 50" within the next few weeks. After that I can start adding on[swg]

I'll be using manual Atlas snap-switches, which are $8 a pop. My next layout will hopefully use Peco. Tell you what, tonight I'll add up how many I need. I'm curious myself. If I could stop buying engines I'd have more of my track, but I might get an IHC 4-6-2 within the next 2 months[swg]

Im going to use Peco on my layout, flextrack and turnouts. IC # 7000 is just fine, needs a few handrails but other than that its fine.
