Cool. I actually shouldn't be buying any more motive power, I should fix my Spectrum 2-8-0. But an IHC 4-6-2 Pacific is only $71. An IHC 2-8-0 is $65.

This is proably a common question but I thought I would ask here too. Are Peco Switches similar to Atlas #6 Customline? Reason I ask. I have a plan done up in Atlas RTS and I just want to convert the Atlas #6's to Peco Switches.

Yes but mine is a short line with SD60's replacing GP11's and GP40's.

Ic people. I am putting an order together and realized I need some paint for touch ups and railings etc.
[:)]

- What color should I get for my black SD-40 metal railings? Flat black? I think I have some white already.
- I need some red for my CF-7?

What brand? Should I brush or spray railings? I can't afford a air brush yet. :)

I'd say Flat Black for the SD40. You should definitly spray paint if you don't have an airbrush. The CGW FP7 in my sig is one I spray painted you don't need an airbru***o get excellent results.

Illinois Central? I thought that was a telephone exchange!!!
Only trouble with Illinois Central is it never could decide where it wanted to go. It went to Shreveport then didn't wanna go there anymore; went to Birmingham then didn't wanna go there anymore. Then it did - then it didn't - then it did - ad nauseum. I've known a lot of people who wanted to get in touch with their inner self; IC seemed to always be trying to get in touch with its image. Now it doesn't go anywhere and doesn't need an image to get there.

From the far, far reaches of the wild, wild west I am: rtpoteet
