Wayne, I tried your method.
My picture got posted, but then my follow up text was underlined in blue.
A click on the blu underlined text took me into my entire Photobucket libaray.
It must be the combined effect of one's operating system and browser.
Remind me, what is your operating system and browser?

Just tried Wayne's method, no blue line, so it does work as well. Now I'm aware of two methods of posting pic's for one forum. Let's see which one I forget first!

I'm not sure - the terminology has never seemed logical to me, although I do know the answer, just not which answer belongs to which part of the question. Normally, I run on Bushmills and my browsers are blue.
However, my computer is running Windows XP, and I'm using, when it doesn't freeze-up, Mozilla Firefox.
As much as I enjoy sharing pictures, I doubt very much I'd bother if I had to use the method which works for you - just too many steps, especially after having had it so easy for so long.

Wayne, I am not so sure that there are "just too many steps". My explantion, further up in this thread, is long because I felt it necessary to be methodical.
In fact, there are only three steps.
One, in Photobucket, Copy the link in the Direct box in the section titled Link To Share This Photo.
Two, in the forum Reply box, click on the Insert Edit/Image icon.
Three, Paste the link into the Source box and click OK.
It seems to be that the second step in my procedure is the one extra step over your 2-step Coy and Paste.

I use Windows XP as well for my operating system, but I use Google Chrome as the browser. So, as I suspect, the browser is probably the difference.

I use the same computer, the same operating system, the same browser, and the same image hosting sight I have been using for years. The only variable here is that Kambach has changed the forum software.
THAT is where the problem is.
I tried using Chrome and it made no difference.

It's a shame.
To my knowledge, Kalmbach has never publicly responded to all of these problems and all of the threads relating to these problems.
Worse, only the MR forums use this new software.
I will bet that the MR forums are the most visited, by members and non-members.
Yet, we are the most neglected and the most mistreated.
I just don't get it.
