All I did was go to:  http://photobucket.com/  and sign in. I always sign out of any account when done. My browser is set to clear all data when I close it. I just tried it again and no issues. I ignore everything else.

I just logged in to my Photo Bucket account and no issues. I ignore all the bloat or any kind of offers. Why mess with what works. I use Firefox 16.0.2. I learned years ago to avoid Beta anywhere.

You can easily download Firefox to your machine and let the machine use IE for OS updates. Not a big deal.

I have had problems w/ IE8 (issues w/ forum slow and Photobucket) and also switched to Firefox 16.0.2    Swiched back to old format in Photbucket, works fine.

I use IE8.

I just tried Photobucket and it worked fine using the older web site address, not the beta address.

I had the same problems you did on the  beta web site.  It sucks.

Try to access Photobucket this way.

I use IE9 and have no problems with the beta site.  Like Selector, I liked the old layout better.

I had the same problem. Photobucket changed ALL of my accounts (close to a dozen) to the Beta format without my consent. I didn't like it one bit! It wouldn't upload photos properly, insisted on showing ALL the photos on ONE page and it was hard to get it to link to photos properly. By the way I use Firefox 12 on XP Home. I located a 'Return To Original Version' at the top right of the page and clicked it. Then I had to go switch all my accounts back. Why can't they leave well enough alone? They have a site that works. Why do they insist on changing it? And why change it to something as unfriendly as that new Beta site?

I had a problem with photobucket last week when I tried to post to WPF.  The "new" page let me post, but my pictures were reduced to about 1/4 size. I was able to choose a "return to old photobucket" option somewhere on the right side of the page, which made everything okay again. I just posted to this week's WPF and everything still seems to be working...

Photo bucket is definitely crashed!  The front end has changed.  A wait that never, ever ends.  I bet just like MR they are upgrading to something wondrful and new and better and faster and nicer and all that stuff.  Wow!  Dontcha just love it!  Let's fix what was just workin' fine.

I had a friend whose motto was "if I can't fix it, I can fix it so it can't be fixed.

I have had lots of issues with it also. I too am still using IE8. Like selector, to post pictures I have to do the same thing. Last night I felt like throwing the computer against the wall. I finally got it to work by clicking on the torn paper icon at the top of the page. Today when I tried to do this nothing happened and the images of  the pictures won't even show on the siteBang HeadBang HeadBang Head.

I am stil using IE8, and had no problems a few weeks back when I experienced the change.  The only complaint I have is that placing the cursor over thumbs doesn't yield the drop-down list including img tags. Now I have to click on the thumb, wait for the full-sized photo to load and appear, and then click on the always-visible list to the right of the image.

It is still free and serving me well, so....

Photobucket Beta Site [banghead]
Posted by G Paine on Friday, November 16, 2012 2:18 PM

This afternoon, I went to Photobucket to upload for pictures for WPF, and was directed to a beta site for an "improved" Photobucket
http://s139.beta.photobucket.com/

The only thing is that the site would not fully load, that pinwheel thing just kept spinnng around at the botttom of the page. I could not find, see or get to all the photos I have uploaded in the past couple of years Bang HeadBang HeadBang Head

The link back to the "original Photobucket" would not work, just sends back to the beta site Bang Head

The Help link does nothing  Bang Head

The only thing that seems to work is a link to an automatic upload app that appears to suck up all the photos on your computer automatically, which I have no interest in  Bang Head

There did not seem to be any direct way to contact Photobucket, to ask about the problems. Huh? I finaly found a link at the bottom of the Privacy Policy page Tongue Tied, and have sent an e-mail to them about my problems.

Has anyone else had similar problems???
