"Clare de Lune"  O&W #402 makes a night passenger run under a bright moon on the SLOW.

[edit] Just want to add that I completely agree with Jarrell on the video thing.  I almost never click on and watch the videos as they take way to much time, and with some notable exceptions tend to be poorly done as in mostly out of focus, jerky, over compressed, scenes showing all kinds of non layout stuff....  Just my My 2 Cents  Lets keep it Photos only for this thread and those who just love videos start another thread for it.

Show me a Black and White photo of your favorite scene.

We'll get there sooner or later!

Since we're WAY out of time for the Hobo camp request - and I don't have one - here's a photo of a kitchen utensil pressed into service to build a flatcar:

Now Show Me your most unique flatcar load!

Okay then, no videos.  I removed it from my previous post.  Sorry again for breaking the rules.

There is nothing wrong with videos, but..... I'm not at all sure all members will sit through a video of any length, especially one 5 to 10 minutes long, to see if what was requested is actually shown.  For instance, someone says Show Me a coal mine and in reply another person posts a 4 minute video of trains going around and through their layout and indeed the coal mine is seen briefly, 3 minutes into the video.  I think that's a lot to ask of members that may only have a few seconds to check and see what the next request is so they might participate.

While I also like videos I don't think this is the right thread to post them.  As I said earlier there could easily be another thread called Show Me A Video Of....

Guys, let's do try to hold the entries to photos instead of videos.  Maybe someone could start a video thread?

Thanks!

Jarrell

Sorry for breaking a rule, didn't realize videos were out.

Why deal videos out?  Seems to me it could help breath a little more life into this by offering another medium to participate with.  Maybe the request shouldn't be specific to videos, but a video of the request could be submitted?

I really enjoy this thread and especially this video - it was great and I bote for more. Just my two cents.....

There's never time to do it right, but always time to do it over.....

Lake

Massey, how do we know it is a train room if there are no trains?Hmm

I see one plastic building and lots of tools, but notrains.Grumpy

It must be one of those, if you build it the trains will come, type of spaces.Smile, Wink & Grin

OK fine!

I was looking for pictures that were of the same angle or close to the same.  Here is the same area of the layout with trains!!

There happy!  It is my yard, with trains on it, and that is the same spot as the first picture just a different angle!

Now where is that track crew? I believe my last request is still valid

A compact layout. The crew is out to lunch. Seeing as the time has lapsed...

Show me how much you can fit into a tight space on a layout.

Cheers...

How about my train room.  it went from this:

To this in just a few weeks.

How's that for a change?

Let me see a track crew working on the rails.

I got a "Bridge to Nowhere..."

It is long since now gone, as the area is becoming a quarry instead of a logging road.

Show me something you have changed.

I think the last valid request was for a hobby shop.  It's been four hours, so I will stretch a poijnt, mor maybe shrunk it.

DOLLS was my mother-in-law's hobby.

If this is acceptable....

Show me a railroad to the end of the world (tracks going off the table...)

Since there hasn't been any photos in this photo thread, I think I'll post something.  It's an evolution of my Red Jacket River Valley.

Bench work installed

Foam stacked, carved, and bridges test fitted.

Sculptamold applied.

Basic ground foam applied.  Bridges installed.

Trees installed.  Road installed.

Now I need to pour a river.  I'm dragging my feet as you can tell!

Please show me something that makes you smile every time you see it!

Edit: Or a video of your layout!
