These open-type auto racks are some I made a very long time ago from wooden kits made by Quality Craft Models

Please show some F-units in action.

Unfinished...

access walkway to Paradise Palms pier nightclub.  Lot has been done since this picture but still not finished after 3 or 4 years...

Several requests back there was one for an outhouse.  Let's be more proper.  Show me an INN house (ie hotel or motel)

EDIT- sometime between the time I saw "show me unfinished" and got up this picture, someone got in a snowplow instead of a Jordan spreader and nthen asked for a turntable.  I guess there are now three or more pending "show me"s.

I don't have a Jordan Spreader, but how about a rotary snow plow....

Show me a turntable.

I believe there also is an outstanding/timed out request for an outhouse. Here is a scene I built on the Boothbay RR Village layout

Now back to the hoped for jordan spreader with about 1-1/4 hours to go....

I was very unhappy with this part of my layout, and it got changed before it ever got finished. Show me your favorite picture of a layout that is NOT YOURS

Its not burning now, perhaps the reason it is being demolished was that it burned in the past?

If it does not count, someone else jump in with a real burning building within the next 15 min (within the 2 hour window) otherwise

Show me a part of your layout you are not happy with and contemplating changing.

Yes, the thread has slowed considerably and that is only natural.  I thought it would die 60 pages ago..Surprise

I guess not.

WHAT?!?!?!?!???

A pickle car?  Umm Kayyyyy       Yeah...   Ummmm Kayyyyy......

This thread AINT! dead!  Won't happen, as long as we make 'clean' requests & maintain participation! Thanks Jacon!   for making it happen, as I have probably 'over enjoyed' it (this post is an example!) But, it is dang fun! I have seen some incredible work here, & saw new members put in some really neat things! (I'm sorry if I have not responded, but I do enjoy each picture & try to learn from them!)

I think the slowness has come from many of us stepping back & allowing new contributors a chance to come in (I'm doing that, unless on a roll!)  Another thing I'm trying to follow is; making a valid 'generic request'

Yeah I'd like to ask for a MILW shopped SD10, BC Rail #4613 Dash 8-40CM, a 28T Shay engine shot, or an SDL39, etc... But not...

I think Show Me is dying a slow and painful death! just go back over the last few days and notice how many requests were answered....few. Sad

The last request was Show me a craftsman kit you built.

Motley, where did you get those ship boilers?

That is just too cool of a load for a flat car.

Lets see an outhouse on your layout!

I agree, JL kits are great, they have a real craftsman feel without the steep prices.  I think they are one of the best kept secrets in the structure market.  Picorelli's is one of my favorites.
