Jeff- Sorry, but on the good old tuff 318, so are the rocker assemblies. They have a shaft and stamped metal rocker arms . No adjustment. Good news though, generally they will rattle for years before, well, it's a 318 so maybe just maybe, not much other than a noise. That's one go forever engine.  Are you sure it's rockers and not timing? Second thought, you probably are.

Timing was the first thing I checked. Start with the simplest thing first and work up to the more complex. The manual affirms that the rocker arms are in a fixed train and cannot be adjusted. Looks like I have a choice. Replace the push rods with ones that are 0.020" longer or just leave it alone. I have no idea when the valve cover gaskets were replaced so I could at least get that done.

Mornin' everyone!

Zoe, I'll have a short stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes with pure maple syrup and a cup of dark roast coffee in a R&GV RR mug.  Please and thank you!

Can only stay long enough to to gulp down breakfast....  Waiting for the granddaughters to show up..  Their dad needs to get a haircut this morning and I am the only one available to watch them.  THAT's OK by me! Smile, Wink & Grin

Ulrich, I had to wait until I was 60 to get a granddaughter.  I hope your turn will come!

Used to be I would get a couple hundred kids at the door for "Trick or Treat".  THAT was back when I was a teacher.  Used to go out of my way to entertain them.  Last few years it only amounts to a hand full of kids.  There is usually some little kid standing on the porch with Mommy just a few feet away, when I open the door when I hear, "OMG!  It's Mr. Howard".  I look and see a huge grin on the woman's face as she tells the little kid I was her Music Teacher.  It is fun............Wink

Most of the kids now attend neighborhood Halloween (All Hallow's Eve, the night before All Saint's Day followed by All Soul's Day) Parties.  All Saints and All Souls at one time were major feast days of the Christian Church.....  You can look it up.

'Tis raining outside this morning and cold (currently 46°F).  Hopefully I will get more done on the RR Project.  I have almost finished putting the ties down and have only a few more inches of hand cut and laid ties to go before the track will be glued down and properly gauged.

Later!

Afternoon everyone.....  Oh, I see the place is empty Zoe.

Well I'll have the Reuben Sandwich, a side order of fries, and a Dr. Pepper for lunch.  I'll go sit in the corner booth and see if anyone else comes in.

Granddaughters came over to my house for about an hour while my son went to the bank and got a haircut.  They are heading out to Pennsylvania to some relatives for a B-day party for one of the family.  Olivia is excited because they will stay in a Hotel....

Who says little girls don't like trains!?!

Little Emily is already keeping Thomas on the track by herself at 19 months of age.

Have a bunch of stuff I need to get done today, so I won't stay long.

Later!

Afternoon. Empty in here. I see Ray was in with the g-daughters.

I spent from 7:45 till noon out and about doing errands and stuff! was supposed ot be a quick trip!

In 2 weeks gas has gone from $2.72 to $2.99/gal around here!  ANd it's not summer travel season either. ANyone know why it is going up so rapidly??? {I know you European guys pay a lot cuz you have a lot of taxes tacked on}.

Tomorrow we have a funeral to go to. Other half's friend's mother passed. I dunno If I go. Depends how I feel.

Getting a migraine again, I am positive it is weather related as still StormLightning here. Still keep your Umbrella handy! Took my script med but that takes about 2 hours to work and then puts me to sleep for a little while.

Coming down with something too. Sinuses and mild productive cough. I got my flu shot the other day and I don't care what they say, I always come down wiht teh symptoms at least. Not achey though. Dunno. Other half has had something for awhile.

Anybody know why Sudafed and it's generic versions of psuedoephedrine are disappearing? For us with sinus problems and the general OTC cheapy immitation stuff doesn't work, it is torture. The only one i can find is the 12 hour variety. Better than nothing, though it doesn't last 12 hours. Must be taking it off the market due ot the number of crystal meth labs around the country???? Dunno.

WEll I will go lay down to see if I can get rid of this headache.

So now maybe I can finish up the house.

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooood afternoon, bacon tripple-cheeseburger basket please, with a Coke; yup...at the RC.

GALAXY: At the risk of firing-up the soapbox, or stepping in something poly-tick-ian... gas is going up due to the dollar going down (again), and the moratorium on drilling in the Gulf. Yes, THAT was "lifted," in name only. Now, all the drillers have to undergo a massive permit process before they can resume. Also, with winter coming, the refiners may be "switching blends" again, leading to "temporary shortages" in the supply. It doesn't help THAT there are dozens of "blends" for different parts of the country. There is legislation pending (passed the House, died in the Senate) THAT would make these gas prices seem like a distant fond memory...

I wonder who will get the blame this time for higher gas prices...

At further risk, my boss is seriously thinking about selling the newspapers, to avoid the landslide of new taxes and tax hikes coming January 1st. And he voted for the guy doing it... Hope and Change??? Fortunately, the buyer is the same guy they were planning on selling to in 4-5 years. They're just moving it up. So far, the only "change" will be in ownership.

And yes...meth makers are a BIG reason why Sudafed and psuedoephedrine is so hard to get now... I wonder if they'll be as restrictive on Drano too? Seems THAT's another key ingredient, along with ether, anhydrous amonia, and other assorted nasties...

TODD: Rerun is the same way. I ask him to do the dishes, and he never does. I don't blame him for not wanting to clean the bathroom...but he could at least take Latrine Officer duty once in awhile right??? Maybe not.

Probably won't be any RR time this weekend. I have football to shoot tonight, game write-ups to do tomorrow, a yard needing mowing, and a baby oak tree to plant. I also have to find something to put around it to protect it from critters, the mower, and ME. The tree's grandpa/grandma is a mighty oak in Kansas, on my late Grandpa's farm. Dad/Mom is in my parents' yard in Cedar Rapids. Yeah, this little tree is kinda special.

A question for the Diner crowd: My benchwork, such as it is, is made of 1x4 "L" brackets, with a front leg for stability. I've been alternating between 1/4" and 1/2" plywood to go on THAT, with 2" foam for the top. I've read numerous discussions and debates in the layout building threads. It seems the 1/2" would be "best," but the 1/4" may adjust better to the variations inherent to building in a 100+ year old house, where the only thing "square" is the owner... I've even thought about just putting the foam on, without a plywood base. The plan is for manual turnouts (no switch machines). Even then, the "L" brackets have a piece attached on the side for wiring, terminal blocks, etc.; and a surface for putting diagrams explaining just what in the heck I did.

A good, SAFE afternoon to all...

Hello Folks, been a few days.

Flo, I will take a big helping of Anti Virus, either the computer has a bug or Fire Fox is not  working right to night.

Jeffery, for what ever reason I cannot get the Anti Virus you gave me the link to, to install. Keep getting stuck on up date 15.

Kitchen Cabinets Finally done with the lower faces of the cabinets. It did take 4 coats of the $14.00 a gallon paint. But it took 3 coats of the $30.00 a gallon to cover the base boards, so it was worth the extra coat.

Paint Gun from Harbor Freight I won't go into all the problems I had getting a air regulator hooked to it. (not the gun fault at all) But, like any other simple project it turned into a pain in the caboose! I shoot 2 doors and 4 drawers faces today. First I am not thrilled with the results, looks like undercoating when first sprayed but there is no brushes strokes!

As the Semi Gloss Latex paint is drying the paint is leveling it self some, and as it losses it shine I don't see the peel as much. It could all so be the Beer. I did add some water to the paint and it helped some. Saturday I will play with air pressure more and all so the fluid control and see if that helps. But, for $17.00 it was a good buy.

Then there's something wrong in your computers settings. Do you have any other antivirus program installed and running? If so it could be interfering.

Hey guys

SoapBoxWell work today was not fun. I get in and am left with the mess the previous shift left, again. On top of that it was really busy; so I never did get around to cleaning it all up like I was supposed to. Then in the middle of my shift the "manager from h*ll" comes in and starts yelling about it. She tells me to look at something while I'm dicing onions and lose focus on what I was doing. I pulled the top part od the dicer all the way up and as I come down, my hand hits the blade. Ened up dicing the end of my right index finger and the knuckle on the base of that thumb.

I grabbed a towel and started applying pressure. She saw this and never bothered to see if I was okay. She yells "you idiot, you did that on purpose so you don't have to work". then she goes on about how I wasted 1 and a half onions, that my not being careful is costing her product, and on and on. When I go to wrap it, she told me to quit screwing around, and trying to burn up time on the clock. By that time I was really fuming, but I bit my tounge (figuritively) and ignored her. I mean if I quit "screwing around' My finger would have have still been bleeding really bad. I already had blood all over that danged place. Later on she tells me to watch what I do or I'll be out of a job. Geez, I was following orders and did what I was supposed too. Wonder if there is a way to get her fired; everyone hates her. Okay, rant over SoapBox

Day did get better though. I ended up buying a 1994 mustang GT that is in good mechanical shape for $2850. I really like the fact that the insurance is only $4 more. Apparenly my rates dropped too so it'd be $87.44 for liability. Heading over to P-cola tomorrow to get parts to sell the 1990 and finish up the 94. Need to get something to hold the shift boot in, some bulbs, and stuff for the power doors, windows, and locks. Might just be dirty switches. My father said he would buy me an Ultra-flo exhaust for the car and get it in my next week. I'm going to pull the 17x9s off of the 90 and put them on the 94, then sell the 90. (after the finger quits bleeding, it's been almost 6 hours and still bleeding; although not much)

I'll be catching up in the back...

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Evening guys

well off to bed very early tonight as have a 2.10 hour drive ahead of us early in the morning to get to the funeral which starts at 9 am.. It is for my other half's friend's mother. I don't wnat to go but other half has talked me into it. I don't really know the guy whose mother died let alone never met the mother. Other half has. And part of being an "other half" is doing things like this.

Not looking forward to standing outside in 47* temps with raining coming down and my back screaming at me, but will have to. Will take warm winter coat for sure. waterproof AND warm.

Programmed the GPS already to make sure "Rhoda Roadmaster" has it ready for us to help...

SO off for tonight.

Sleep well guys and have a great night..

Good evening, Chloe.   Thought that I would stop by for a hot cider before heading to our local MR meeting.

I haven't had the computer on week. Too much work and play.  I will check in more this weekend.

Later,  Sue

Hello Everybody ..

We're still in Michigan. .. Traveling from home to Cincinnati to Detroit to Grnad Rapids seeing all five grandkids. In the process, we're hauling household stuff back and forth. We had a load from KY to Detroit. Next I loaded the truck in Grand Rapids for Cincinnati. Eventually, we pick up stuff in CIncy to take hime in KY. The Avalanche is a good running vehicle and is handy for hauling all this stuff.

I picked up materials for another model railroad project while traveling, too.

Looks like Ray is enjoying grandkids, too.

Happy Model Railroading!

Evenin' folks!

Flo, just a decaf.... well, maybe one of those fresh baked Apple Brownies I see over on the counter as well.

Had about 3 hours of time to get some things done on the project.  Right now there is only two fairly short rails left to install and THAT part will be done.  Most of the day tomorrow can be spent on it so I hope to have the Humpyard Switch Levers installed and working by tomorrow evening.  It will be close getting it done for the Meet.

Had a member of my NMRA Division send me an email tonight reminding me he had offered to open his layout for the Meet.....  I had totally forgotten about it, and as soon as I read it, I did.  Got back to him and hope he will still be willing to do THAT.  THAT would give us 4 excellent layouts on display during the afternoon.  Every one is well worth seeing!

I have to get some maps and directions ready in the next couple of days, start collecting everything I need for the Meet, and make a list of nearby restaurants for the membership.  lots of loose ends to take care of and not as much time as I would like.

Looks like there are a couple others here who have been enjoying some grandkids....

Later!

 Mourning Folks

Flo, I take some scrambled eggs and Hash Browns, toast and some coffee please.

Well, today the site / fire fox is working fine?

Jeffery I will try down loading again and see what happens.

Vincent, can you say Workers Comp Claim? If the cut is as bad as you said, she should have filled out a on the job injury report. How is the finger doing today?

Cabinet door's and drawers are dry now and look pretty good. Need to touch up the sides a little with a brush. I sure the next batch will turn out even better.

Train Front As you folks may remember I am using 1/64th scale cars on my layout. K-Mart is having a clearances sale on there Green Light  Muscle Car Garage sets. When I first saw them the 5 car set was around $25.00. I got my the other day for $8.00. Big Smile

Cars that came with the set was a 70 Cuda, 70 Road Runner, 70 442, 70 Mustang Coupe with ram air and a 70 Z-28. Way better detail than Hot Wheels and Johnny Lighting cars. While I was at Wal Greens I stumbled across and new line of cars called Speed Wheels. They are all so 1/64th and at 79 cents what can you say? I picked up a 69 Charger R/T.

70 Cuda and the Speed Wheels Charger. Need to gt DOT out there to fix the road. Laugh

 70 Road Runner and 70 442.

 70 Mustang and the Z-28.

 See you for lunch.

Good Afternoon Folks,

it is nice, but cold outside - my type of weather!

Zoe, I´ll hav a mug of hot cocoa and a handful of those chocolate chippers, please.

Rob - (very) belated Happy B-Day

Ray - your granddaughters are just so cute - you are a blessed man!

Ken - nice cars!

Vincent - a double ouch, one for the cut, and one for this boss of yours!

Chris - looks lige a good start! Will you fasten the "legs" somehow to the floor, to prevent them from being "kicked in" accidentally

I am still in a very depressed mood - that layout plan I have developed is near to perfect for what I would like to have. All the details of it are in my head - how to build the benchwork, lay the track, all the wiring, how to build the scenery. If I close my eyes, I can see a duly painted and lettered Bachmann Spectrum 4-6-0 pulling a string of cattle cars into Prescott, while a 4-4-0 gets ready for the daily passenger/mail train in Prescott Junction.  I don´t need a big layout to be happy ...

There is no chance to ever start on the construction of it, which makes me so sad. Just making plans and do a lot of "imagineering" is not doing any good to my soul, so I will have to chuck it, like I had to chuck so many things in the meantime. Seems as if I am condemned to a life of watching TV and let the day go by, until the end of all days.

I need a small and tiny miracle to happen.

Have a good day, my friends!

PS - I wrote an e-mail to Keith some days ago, but have not received an answer. I am worried.

Mornin'....... er, ah...... ahem!  Good Afternoon Peoples!

Zoe I'll just have a cup of dark roast coffee in a R&GV RR mug....  And , ah, possibly one of those Egg, Bacon, Cheese, Spam, Sausage, and Spam thingies on an English Muffin.  Oh, And you can get rid of the Spam please....  I don't care how much extra it costs!  "I DON"T LIKE SPAM!"   Oh, sorry, I'll be quiet...  In fact I'll go sit in the front booth and watch the w*rk being done over on Track 2.

Nice Fall day around these parts.  Currently at the high for the day of 53°F under partly cloudy skies.  Actually right now the sun is shining and there is a mild breeze.

Slept in late this morning.  Guess I needed some extra Zzz.  I have been tossing and turning all night for the last several, and last night was the first decent nights sleep in a while.  Just too much going on right now.

Ulrich, I keep thinking about you and hoping and praying some good things start coming your way.  If nothing else, all you have been through the last few years makes me very grateful for all that I have.  Which comparatively isn't a whole lot, but I can get by without a whole lot of worry for now.  I think you have a rel knack for creating small layout plans.  How about you take all of those plans and see about getting them published......?  They are every bit as good s those I have seen in print!

Have a wash in the machine right now and the boys are begging for lunch.  Also got another rail glued in place witrh one short section left to gauge and glue down.  Best be moving on!

Good Morning, Flo - no, I didn't drop off the edge of the planet, really! Oh, I'll have a glass of Ed's OJ, a blueberry bagel and a Santa Fe mug of coffee, please.

And speaking of mi amigo, Ed said to let you know that it's been a pretty good year at the orchard. The tangerines and Valenicas should be ready in about a week or two, so Flo, make sure they leave space for some tanker cars about then. I'm sure our OJ drinkers will appreciate the new batch!

As for where I've been (Todd), w**k and various other things have been taking up some of my time (such as watching what I eat - to try to lose a few more pounds, etc.). Have been getting back to the de-cluttering/bush-hogging the apartment some, which cuts into the time I can get to a WiFi connection and run by the Diner. Actually, I'll be leaving the local MRR club - I can't usually make it when they have a w**kday, 'cause they're on Saturday mornings (when I'm either doing laundry like today, or else I'm on-call the other weekends), and some personal stuff has been getting neglected (seeing grandson, getting by here, etc.) due to shortage of time spent on those. I'll stay in touch with some of the club members still (like our electronics guru, who I'll likely have installing another decoder or two before I learn how to do those myselfl; and like our LHS owner).

Have been getting to some of my old Revell structure kits, like the diesel fuel tank I posted photos of (a week or two back, I think), and I'm currently figuring how I want to modify the Revell sandhouse. I like the corrugated metal part of the structure, but want to use a half a gondola (with a roof over the top of it) instead of the dark brown they have the plastic colored in.

Have been doing some figuring on what I need to get the layout with some kind of continuous run kludged up. That'd be so I can (once the place is neatened up some) have grandson Drew over to 'run trains'. Don't know how interesting for an almost three year-old that switching would be. Of course, my daughter said they got out the wooden train set I gave him (Christmas before last) for him to start playing with. Looks something like what Ray's cute granddaughter is playing with. Thumbs Up

CudaKen, I see you're still finding bargains. Thumbs Up That road looks like some I think I've driven over...Whistling

Got emails from CN Charlie, but I figured he's in here almost as infrequently as I have lately, and one last day or so from Gary, who's visiting grandkids and other relatives in Michigan and Ohio. So I figured I should make an appearance to refresh our Diner staff's memory (so they don't think I'm a totally new person). Smile, Wink & Grin

Flip - I sure hope that all those things didn't happen in the last year for you and Deb! Surprise Your area has been getting the rains for the last couple of hurricanes/storms that came east. Wow

Ulrich, just don't toss those layout plans you've been coming up with. Never can tell when that tiny miracle may come around, and no sense wasting your creativity. Thumbs UpYeah

Galaxy - as for the Sudafed, it may just be 'cause of those meth 'cooks'. Several cities and towns in Missouri have made it a 'behind the counter' item, or require a 'prescription' (though I don't think you have to pay for an office visit to get the prescription), to reduce the availability of the Sudafed (and related OTC meds). Ah, modern life... Sigh

Got a good chuckle at w**k this last week. They're having a competition to raise funds for br**st cancer research, and there'll be some kind of prizes for the most creative 'contribution container', most funds raised, etc. Well, all the ladies in our medical records section made a doozy! It has is shaped like a torso with a pink brassiere around it, and says "Help support your local b**bs!" (and below that, "No, we're not talking about any politicians..."). Had a good belly laugh from that one! Laugh I think they have the 'uniqueness' category locked up.

Chris, on your benchw**k question, I'll have to go back home to see, but I think I have 3/8" plywood, with 2X2 legs and diagonal bracing (mine is free-standing, vs. attached to the wall). You could probably use the foam on top of the thinner plywood, too. Bet you could get Rerun to do the dishes if you only needed the food 'washed' off, though. Wink

Vincent, I'd be inclined to file a w**kers' comp claim, and specify HOW you got distracted by the supervisor. Might help your 'other' question get resolved (or not). Take care of that thumb, either way (and save the doctor's bills and medication bills, too).

Kinda confusing with the 'date' posts, where it says such-and-such date, but then the actual date below that (put in by the forum software) is a day or two later...

Well, need to go finish up laundry for now. By the way, if anyone has a question (or answer) for me, better send me an email, since I check those most every day at some point. When I came in via my old bookmark, there were 23 new pages since then... Surprise I will try to make it in once a week if time permits. Hope everyone gets some fun time with the MRR'ing in this weekend (yes, you too, Ulrich! Thumbs Up Smile)

Blessings and prayers,

Jim in Cape Girardeau (where it's a nice 70 F/21 C currently, kinda dry lately here)

Afternoon folks

Here's my latest update video. I'm not sure what happened to the text on the pictures.

My Uncle is coming to visit today, hopefully between him, my dad, and myself we can install the stereo in the car today.

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Afternoon, bucket of coffee please.

Well, last night's high school football game was...the game of the season (so far, one week to go). It was a huge upset victory for the team I was covering, they doused the coach with the water jugs, good time had by all (well, except for the vanquished). For me, it was one of those rare nights where everything just "clicked." The lighting was the best I've w**ked under all season, I was getting the shots, only peeeeeeeeved at two THAT didn't w**k-out... I'll have plenty for THAT Editor and Mr. Boss to sort-through.

Still gotta process them photos and do the game write-up. THAT's the "agenda item" for the day.

VINCENT: I'm all too familiar with your type of injury. I saw those a lot at the community college. The Culinary Arts students were pretty consistent in slicing off the tips and sides of their fingers... THAT type of injury takes a long time to stop bleeding. Direct pressure/elevation usually does the trick, but the capillaries keep oozing for hours. "Liquid Bandaid" is an option to "paint" over the injury site. It's medical-grade Alpha-Cyano-Acrylate: "super glue." But...be warned, it BURNS on contact. Keep the injury clean (washing with hydrogen peroxide would be a GOOD IDEA), and covered. The peroxide will also "sting" and foam...think of the foam as the scrubbing bubbles in the old sink cleaning TV commercial. File whatever injury report your company has. If the boss won't give you the form, call corporate (her boss). Since there isn't anything to sew back shut on an injury like that, seeing a doc won't do you much good... You could go anyway, but since there isn't anything he/she can do for you other than clean and dress it...YOU'd be on the hook for it. Work Comp. "might" pay for the visit...but I wouldn't hold my breath. to be OSHA reportable requires medical intervention beyond basic first aid... one suture qualifies as "beyond basic first aid." Good luck...and I'd be looking for a better boss. Is there a "complaint line" to the corporate HR folks you can call???

ULRICH: Yes sir, the leg is attached by a steel bracket to the floor. It's a "fun" process involving lots of use of the level, much contortion trying to hold the fill-in-the-blank leg where I want it whilst trying to drill/screw into the floor. Also, I second the notion THAT you should compile your layout plans and see about getting them published. I doubt there can ever be too many track plan books on the market. I also think you should see about contracting for your services. Might not be a "steady" source of revenue, but every little bit helps. Believe me, I've been in situations where any revenue beat hell out of no revenue.

JIM: Good to see you again! Thanks for the advice. I keep thinking I "should" go with the 1/2" plywood. I'm a ways off yet from having to make THAT decision, so will continue to cogitate upon it.

Here's an overview of my disaster-in-progress for everybody's amusement. It will probably end up someday as the cover photo of a book entitled "How NOT to Build a Railroad."

Gotta get busy on w**k stuff...

Chris

Sudafed or any former OTC med with psuedoephedrine in it has been behind the pharmacy counter now for awhile. But all the pharmacies are having trouble getting it or their store brands anymroe and the card tags you pick up OTC shelves to take to pharma counter have disappeared too. THe pharmas say they are trouble getting it. THe 12 hour version is there but doesn't work as well, adn certainly doesn't last any 12 hours. Ah well if you can't buy it anymore have to suffer I guess. Durn Meth makers@!&*(!

WEll, tired as was up early and didn't sleep well last night so off for a nap as soon as I check out the rest of the forum topics.

Not much happening. Been taking care of some light work here. I had intended to do some work on the layout but that has proven to be too heavy for me in the shape I'm in today. Maybe I'll be able to take a crack at it in the morning. Got some trash that has to go out first though. Mostly useless bits and pieces of old kits and old rolling stock that's beyond saving, even for me. I've been known to put together some wild combinations of pieces and come up with something that looks good. One is an old Bachmann loco from the 70's that's been rebuilt with parts from all the map. Athearn, Bachmann, P2K, Stewart, AHM and a couple of others I can't recall right at the moment. Also some rolling stock put together with pieces from Bachmann, Mehano, Tyco, Athearn, Roco and anything else that could be made to fit. I have some pretty good looking junk box specials that many don't spot as just collections of associated parts until they look closer, a lot closer in some cases. I'd like nothing better than to get this layout business tackled and out of the way so I can get back to running the trains again. I miss seeing them run but at the moment half of the feeders are ripped out. One of the things I have to do is rerun the buss lines and put in new feeders. It won't be easy work.

 Hello New York!

Flo, Big Boy Sub with everything but Mayo, tender of Onion Rings and a pitcher of Beer and a frosted Monon Mug!

Well I did not get done what I wanted to get done, but I got something done I never thought I would! I got Sue Ann (my wife) to throw stuff away! Big SmileSmile, Wink & GrinLaugh Honest to God, I got a 30 gallon trash bag full of stuff from one pair of kitchen cabinets doors on the bottom level! I might just stand a chances of having a normally looking kitchen, and maybe house. Sue is a hoarder and most of the time fights me tooth and nail about getting rid of anything.

Robby P, Jim and Ulrich I do wish the cars where 1/87 scale, but they still look OK on the train layout. It was not till I got this

that I saw how over sizes they are. Will only hold 4 71 Chargers, not the 5 it should.

Team Steam Fan I do have quite a few Chevys (Belly Buttons) for the layout. With out GM and Ford, I would not have anyone to pick on! Big Smile I do mean in real life, not just on the Train Layout!

Train Front It was a mixed day today. Went to change the sound levels on a Blue Line and a PK 2000 E-7. E-7 went fine, in fact it handles the passenger station spur great. It will take the spur faster than the Erie Bulit and sounds pretty good now. I came close to selling it.

Blue Line on the other hand, I had to post some questions in the DCC sections about it. Sound decoder address did not match the motor decoder address? It was working fine till I made them match?

 See you all Sunday
