Packer
It quit raining a while ago, so I pulled my old starter out. It works except for it's not kicking the gear. So I'm set back $65 for a new one. At least it has a lifetime warranty as opposed to the 1-year one warranty of the Valu-craftp the previous owner put in it.

There's something we have in common. My car eats starters, sometimes 2 a year.

Evening ya'll

It quit raining a while ago, so I pulled my old starter out. It works except for it's not kicking the gear. So I'm set back $65 for a new one. At least it has a lifetime warranty as opposed to the 1-year one warranty of the Valu-craftp the previous owner put in it.

Luckily I made $75 earlier by selling the cat-back out of my old car. so I'm up $10 for the day. Still have a bunch off part off of that to sell.

Murphy's law has kicked in, but it might not be expensive this time. The fuel tank makes a popping noise when it's shut off, and the parking brake light is always on. I tested the switch earlier and it would not shut off, so I'm thinking a faulty switch. For both fixes I could probably pull parts off of my old car (I know the guy who has it, it's a parts car now) so it shouldn't be expensive (unless he gets crazy about MY Cougar Eliminator scoop again Laugh; yes I have hidden it so he hopefully forgets)

Rob and Garry: Thanks for the compliments! I think I'm getting a bit better, but I still need to figure out the trucks and wheelsets (How do you do your's Robby?). I'm going to try experimenting with my airbrush soon, so I can add that to the mix.

Vincent

Whew! Made it! Roads weren't bad but tonight they will be. No significant gain in snow today though it snowed most of the day, but it's light and dry so the wind will drift it like crazy. And the wind is starting to blow. Actually it has been for a while. Not the best of days to pick up some foam board, but I didApprove. Blue if you're wondering. Took the backroads home so I could drive slower. Also bought a 40 lb bag of ice melt for weight to hold the foam board down. Luckily, the elevator just happens to need some so, $9 back in my pocket. Plus, I had a gift card for Lowe's so the foam and the level didn't cost me anything. Just the trip. I chose a 48" level because my old one was 24" and I know soon I will find the old one so this way I have two sizes. Of course I had to go to the grocery store and Lowe's is right next door, so even the expense of the trip is debatable. All in all a good day. Now a Trustee's meeting at the church at 7 and the day will be complete except for wondering when my level will show up. Oh well, gives me something else to look forward to.Thumbs Up

Building looks good Robby, I likes. The cars as well Vincent

Chris- Though my clear sinuses would be appreciatedBig Smile, and a headache can be dealt withWhistling and I could have left for awhile, taking Missy too of course which she wouldn't object to at all. It would be nice to have a home to return to. Oops you are most right. Also both the furnace and the water heater are in the adjoining room with just a stud wall. Not even sheet rock to slow it down. So a super duper recipe for disaster.

Well there's a rustling from the kitchen and the lack of a dog at my side, coupled with the sound of silverware being put on the table means.....suppertime.

Fruit & veggie smoothie, please.

My wife has been looking for several HO scale items. These include:

1) small child on a tricycle

2) small child on a tiny bicycle

3) a person on a go cart??

She has found bicycles and soapbox derby stuff, which isn't what she wants. Anyone know if such models are available, who makes them and where to get them???

Thanks! Cowboy Rob

Wow, check this out. Following what roughly would have been my route in my head for ym rail line si this old 1800's RR:

http://www.carolinarails.org/railroads/ccg/ccg.html

seems I wasn't the only person with this idea, even it was back in the 1800's, lol.

Evening all. Zoe, I'll take a RBF, thanks.

Likely no school tomorrow. Every weather prediction is different with the snow amounts, but they're all pretty high (I've heard 12-18).

Even on the slight chance that we DO have school, I felt kinda crappy all day, so who knows what'll happen with tomorrow.

twhite

But I've watched him in action out on the playing field--OHMYGAW!   It must be like getting hit by a BNSF freight train at full bore, when he gets going, LOL!

He's a Sophomore, we'll have him for two more years.  Frankly, I'm really looking forward to it.  So's the Rugby coach. Tongue

I really like the way your layout's coming along, BTW.  Keep the photos coming, OK?

Tom Big Smile

Believe you me, it does! More like a dbl. stack 200 car container train. I hope that coach is looking forward to keeping him another two years!

Thanks, I'm having a blast building my layout!

Johnboy, thank you! I'll have to get the measurements tonight.

Rob, thank you sir! it's my first ever scratchbuild.

Ulrich, I can probably get some shots later this week, worse case scenario later this weekend. Some things about scratchbuilding: TAKE YOUR TIME! a little patience makes a BIG difference. Make sure you have a sharp hobby knife. and don't be too afraid of making cuts; unless you're a super special person, odds are you're going to make some mistakes (I learned a LOT building this building!).

Lee, thanks!

Robby, it sure does save on the cash man! cost me maybe $20 or less total to make that building. One good way to save money is pick up some no trespassing or private property or w/.e signs from wal-mart or lowes; they're a bit flimsy but either bracing with strip styrene or using them in an application where they won't be weight bearing will work. That's what the roof is built out of. Oh, very nice work on the pallet company. love the signs hanging on that one side.

 Thanks Garry!

Aztek, congrats!

Well, no rugby for me tonight. can't get a ride to practice. Also just studying for homework again so I should hopefully have time for more layout work.

Anna Kaskas my first voice teacher at Eastman used to instruct her students when they had a cold to take "the cure" and believe it or not 90% of the time it actaully worked.  The other 10% of the time at least you didn't really care anymore.  You take a shot (or two) of a 100 proof ah....  Beverage, and follow with a cup of hot, black coffee.  Should be as hot as you can drink it and drink the coffee as fast as you can after consuming the shot of 100 proof... ah, beverage.  Then go right to bed and bundle up.   Sometimes we used to take the cure at college even when we didn't have a cold.....  preventative maintenance. I've tried Jack Daniels and warm lemonade in the past... don't have neither this time Disapprove Have tried some Maker's Mark and SoCo (not together...). Just might give this a shot...as it were.Mischief

Whatever this is, I know it is NOT bronchitis...at least not yet...thanks to having to successfully complete a unit of study in sputum, back in Cardio-Pulmonary Assessment. Dead

GARRY: Yeah...I am kinda wondering about THAT azzzzzzzzclown Deputy. I don't know. Traffic is moving, minor injuries, no trap, town cop is on the scene, Fire Department is on the scene, ambulance is on the scene... yet for some reason, Mr. County decided he had to go at break-neck speed on 100% ice covered roads. SighConfused

I really wish he had smashed the town cop's cruiser... Toby and I coulda cut him out with our antique JAWS all the while asking him "hey, William Tango Foxtrot were ya thinking?" Maybe town cop coulda arrested him for reckless driving...coulda been a real show.

Hey RAY? If the mailman didn't bring you enough bills...I'll let you have some of mine. No, really...I was taught THAT it's good to share...Mischief

Chicken with veggie soup, please.

***Robby, superb buildings, scrap, and of course the train cars in the background, too. Excellent!

***Vincent, real nice job on the weathering!

***Ulrich, seems a number of us suffer from some degree of scale envy. I have contemplated switching from N to HO for years, but it seems to late in the game for that. At least my wife is into HO, so I can still enjoy both scales. Both have their own strong points.

Got the rest of the rocks done today on the wife's layout. She likes them, which is all that matters. Her plan is to do some brush work on them, mostly splatter techniques. Now she wants me to do the same kind of rocks for the entire canyon where the river will be. She also wants rapids. That is going to take a while.Dunce

Anyone ever bought from Hobbylinc and if so, a good experience or not???

Had power problems last night during the storm. Power went out several times and kept flickering this morning. I went to see the foot this morning. The wound on the right foot is down to just a pinhole. Regardless, he wants me to wear that confounded vacuum for another week. I'm about ready to muzzle somebody with it. The wound on my left big toe has filled in nicely and the skin is closing up a bit more. Once it's closed up the doc want's to loosen the joint up a bit so it doesn't lock down when I put weight on it. That's a wait and see matter right now. Stopped by Radio Shack and picked up a new toggle switch for the cars fuel pump as the old switch finally burned out. It's rated at 25 amps at 12 volts so it should be more than enough for the job. Why don't I replace the fuel pump relay? Because I can't find the dang thing. It's not where the manual says it should be and I'm not tracking it down through miles of wiring. It's easier to slave it off the battery with a fast blow fuse in line for safety. Stopped at my parent's place to go through my mail and had lunch with them. They were experiencing the same power issues I was having. The power was stable by the time I got back home.Weather guesser is mumbling somthing about snow on Friday. Where's my gun!

I see AztecEagle has a new grandnephew. Welcome Preston Blake.

Afternoon all!

Zoe I'll have a piece of That Pecan Pie and a cup of hot chocolate to keep my sugar up in the readable range.....  I'll go sitt somewhere away from Chris and his "what ever it is".  My Grandmother Howard used to call it the "Final come and get ya" if I remember correctly.  She also referred to the stomach bug as the "Oh My", and certain peices of furniture as the "Whatchamacallit".

Chris, have you tried the Kaskas cure? Ray .... You said your family had a late Christmas celebration. Did they give you lots and lots of mrr stuff?

Nope took me several years, but I finally got my sister NOT to give me train stuff!  My sister was in Mexico over Christmas so my son's family and I hadn't got a chance to do the Ho, Ho, Ho, thing at her house.  As soon as I get a chance I will post a photo of what she did give me.  I gave her a book called "Asia" which she wanted and a couple CDs she asked for.  The book is huge and has many gorgeous photos of various cultures in Asia.  She went nuts to get it.

My driveway looks very empty right at the moment.  Truck and trailer are still parked at my son's house.  We got it about half emptied this afternoon. Little by little they are getting things unpacked and put away.  He had the chimney inspected and cleaned today (a requirement for the Mortgage insurance).  4 of the 5 flues are fine and can be used.  The indoor BBQ grill needs a ot of w*rk and they will probably not ever use it.  A grease fire is not a good thing to have in the chimney......  The only other recommendation is for the basement fireplace.  It was the one used the most and has some very hard creosote build up that won't brush off.  They will need to use the logs made to soften and remove the build up a few times before burning plain firewood.

I see the mail truck just stopped so I will go get the mail and see how many bills he brought....  later!

Ed Merrin caught me last month operating a through freight at Willits on his layout modeling the Northwestern Pacific.  It's a fine, double-decked layout occupying a two-car garage in Santa Rosa.  Ed makes an effort to mimic the prototypes's operations and schedules.  The layout has no major yards (most trains originate/terminate in staging), but three towns have local switchers.  His thinking is consistent with mine that small and medium layouts shouldn't have a major classification yard unless its absence would be fatal to the layout's owner.

Good *cough cough cough sniffle snort!* afternoon... Chloe? a bucket of Ed's OJ...and a large mug of coffee please 'n thank-you. Yes ma'am, I'll go over there, where you've got the isolation zone set up.Dead

Welp, I do believe the state of Iowa is officially closed today... the sn** keeps falling, and the winds are expected to rev up to around 30 mph (sorry Lee and others of a nautical nature...I don't know how to express THAT in "knots") bringing blizzard conditions to the region through tonight. I'm expecting it to last into tomorrow as well.

AZTEC: Congrats to you and your family!

TODD and ROBBY P: Thanks guys... it wasn't a good situation to be in. I was kinda hoping though...once I'd made it to safety...THAT the Dopey Deputy woulda plowed into the city cop's car. As we were getting ready to take up and go home, City Cop waddled back to his car, and we told him what almost happened to it. "Oh well, it's paid for" he said.

ROBBY P: Its kinda fun to watch the various cop-clans bash each other. City hates County, County hates State, State hates everybody.Laugh It's easier being a fireman. Sure, you get some paid/career guys who don't like "vollies," but in Iowa, us "vollies" far out-number the lucky few who figured out how to get paid for it.

TODD: The more toxic the product, the better it works. Unfortunately though, yeah...kinda gotta go with the non-toxic/less effective stuff inside. I'm sure the oil-based product's fumes would mix wonderfully with the furnace and/or hot water heater's pilot light...Shock Rerun hopes Missy is feeling better. If she's still having trouble, or the next time, mix some good 'ol Pepto Bismal into some ice cream...Thumbs Up Oh, and as for your visit to the soapbox... BRAVO!Thumbs Up

ULRICH: Are we sharing a brain again??? As for N-sane vs. HO, when I see what guys like Sawyer are able to do with it...it gets real tempting. Then I look at what's sitting on the shelves and figure I don't want to sell everything/start over. That's the "emotional" if you will, side of the argument. Theoretically, for what-all I "want" in a layout...I'd be a fool to NOT go to N-sane scale. Z (Zat's really tiny) would be best. Realisticly, I look at N-sane scale and figure I'd HAVE to get one of those Optivisor things permanantly attached to my head! Small parts/decals in HO are starting to give me fits (at age 40). THAT's NOT going to get any better... I dabbled in N-sane scale for a short time...long enough to realize THAT it was just too danged small to work with, with my fat, clumsy fingers. I equate working in N-sane scale to performing surgery...and I ain't no surgeon! I think ultimately, you, me, even TODD (who found a plan he loves!) need to boil down our "givens and druthers" down to a basic concept: play value. Yep...how much "play" are we going to get out of our little worlds?? I looked (again) at a shelf layout you tacked up recently...I like it. I really do. I could build it. But...all I'd be doing is switching the Quaker plant. THAT would get kinda old kinda fast. I don't need a train making laps around the room, but I DO need to have multiple operations possible: switch Quaker, exchange cars with the Chicago Central, and do some light industrial branchline switching; as a minimum. At this point, money is no object...'cause I don't really have any to put toward this. At the same time, going back to reality, WHEN I finally do build something, I want to get it as close to "right" as possible THAT first time. I'm not gonna have a whole lot of bucks to go back and tear stuff out multiple times. Taking up some track to adjust it or improve it is one thing... taking the sledgehammer to the benchwork is another. I EXPECT to make changes to the track. THAT said, whatever I decide on, it's gonna get tested multiple multiple times before it gets built. Yep, I'm gonna be one of THOSE GUYS, the ones who build a scale model of the proposed layout, complete with representations of cars, locos, buildings, etc. so THAT I can "operate" it, see what does/does not work; and see how much "play value" it truly has.

Hope THAT a glimpse into MY layout design neurosis helps...or if nothing else, puts you to sleep so you can get some good rest...

Chloe? Got any oranges?

 Well here's a few more.

I painted the building, and added some signs.  I might rip a few off to give that "old" look, and replace them with more my "era....80's".  The roof might look wet, well that's due to the rusting agent.  The roof probably won't be ready till tomorrow.  I was looking at the pictures I took and maybe I should add a small desk or something to the inside (bay door area).  That area looks to empty.

The one picture (first ones I took) you will see some black paint  on the side of the building.  Well that is were the "fan" went.  I made the cover look beat up, and missing some pieces.

I also added some scrapes to the one wall, but I'm unhappy with them.  Maybe tomorrow I can fix that up better.  The BIGGEST thing I don't like is the "seems", well were the walls meet.  I guess I can use some putty or some styrene edge?

 More pictures tomorrow!!!

 Oh its starting to SNOW!!!

Lee.......Thanks.   All this snow will give me something to do tomorrow (pallets).

AztecEagle my congratulations to you!

Northern Indiana has been upgraded to a Blizzard Watch, and we were upgraded from 6-10: of snow to 6-13”.  Winds upgraded to 30mph.  Right now it’s hard to see the buildings across the street. GF just made it to work said the roads have 4” of slush on the main interstates.

Robby, now you need a couple thousand pallets sitting outside.  Looks really good.

Hello everybody ....

Aztek ... Congrats on the new arrival !!!!!!!!!

Ray .... You said your family had a late Christmas celebration. Did they give you lots and lots of mrr stuff?

Cal Tom .... I'm getting anxious to see photos of that 2-8-8-2 operating on your great layout.

Ulrich ... Sounds like your layout planning has some great ideas. I think lots of fun is awaiting you.

Sawyer ... I like the industrial building. It reminds me of one I made long, long ago in N scale.

Jim ... Yes, we have some winter weather now. Such a shame. I'll be forced to stay home to work on the layout.

Todd ... I think I'll buy sahres of stock in the company making KILZ. With all you are buying, their financials will be looking good!

Presently, I am working on scenery in "Hinterland" which is at the end of my rural branch line.

Cheers, everybody!

Ahhhhhhh.  Good mornin' everyone!

I have no idea why I'm happy this morning....  Oh, now I remember.  But first I need to get my breakfast.  COFFEE!  Lots of dark raost coffee in a FGLK mug and to go along with the coffee I'll have the #2 speacila, over easy on the eggs, bacon, homefries, and a double order of sourdough toast and some of those Strawberry preserves you have.

Looks like the forecast has been downgraded and THAT the Finger Lakes will get a bit of the white fluffy stuff after all.  Not a whole lot, 1 to 3 inches tonight and 2 to 4 inches tomorrow.  probably just enough to have to start up the old snowblower and have a bit of fun.  Certainly nothing like some of the rest of you will be getting from the storm moving in here in the East.  The good news is I am dropping my truck and trailer off at my son's house for him to empty.  When he is done, I can clean the old trailer up a bit, make a few needed repairs, and get it transfered over to the Boy scout troop I have been doing the RR MB with.  Then one of my 2 driveways will become mine again!

AztecEagle my congratulations to you on the Grandnephew!  They are almost as much fun as grandkids......Wink

Chris and Ulrich, ain't ice covered with snow fun?  Everybody just loves it......  Well according to Irving Berlin:

"I'll soon be there with snow
I'll wash my hair with snow
And with a spade of snow
I'll build a man that's made of snow
I'd love to stay up with you but I recommend a little shuteye
Go to sleep
And dream
Of snow, snow, snow, snow, snow
"

Best get a move on.  Have to finish getting everything hooked up on the trailer.

Hope you all have a great day!

 Good Afternoon,

back from the GULAG and only one more day to go Yeah!!. Did my appraisal and tried to be honest and fair. Some of those guys really tried their best, and I can´t blame them for what they did. After all, it wasn´t them who sent me there.

Flo, I´ll take a coffee and a slice of that pie - whatever it is! Thank you!

AztecEagle - congrats on that new grandnephew and a big Sign - Welcome Preston Blake, to the wonderful world. It still is a wonderful place, despite all the efforts of our politnicks to turn it into a disaster!

Todd - I made a rough calculation on the cost of  both layouts (my CAD system allows me to do this) and both are in the same $-range (well, it is Euro over here). N scale rolling stock and locos are about 60% of the price of HO equipment -  I don´t know why N scale stuff is so much cheaper in comparison. A DCC equipped Kato SD70ACe runs for less than 100 Euros, whereas I´d have to spend about 140 - 150 Euros on the HO version.

I know, that one of these days I will have to make up my mind...  Question

Robby P. - actually it is not that bad. Total sn*wfall since the beginning of this year amounts to about 42 inches, but due to some "warmer" days, this is not what you find around anymore. The bad thing is, that most of it has turned into a thick layer of ice by now, making a walk outside a serious hazard. My little village alone accounts for more than 600 cases of broken bones...

While I am writing this, it has started to sn*w again. SoapBox.

Enjoy!

He he, Rob said "boob"Blush. (giggle)

Good Morning. Bucket of coffee please. Half dark roast the other half chickory please. I need it, been up since 3:30 this morn. Missy was whining for the waste can. Must have licked up too much hair and had an upset tummy. Let her outside to see if she had to go potty, but alas, all it did was make me wide awake. Somewhat hungry too. I realized I hadn't eaten yesterday so a couple of toaster waffles with real butter and real maple flavored corn syrup and a plate of nachos while watching Death Wish II on Cinemax. Shoveled about 3" of light powdery snow from the drive and here I am. Tired but it's time to be awake.

So, plans for the day. Some more destruction and construction on the pike to be. Unload the grocery truck at the restaurant. In to Springfield for a few groceries and a level. Can't seem to find mine. I have been using a laser level for the back of the layout because it' against the wall. However the thing don't work so well for the rest. Depending on the weather I may attempt to pick up a 4X8 sheet of blue foam board. Probably need some more KILZ too. That oughta kill the hobby budget for the month. Not counting the $1 car. Was wrong, by the way, $4.95 flat rate shipping, not 6.

Chris- Glad you got out of the way of Starsky there. Yep, still with that plan with a few mods. As soon as I get some $40 freakin dollar ink for the printer, I will print the plan, trace, modify then repost with the one I shall call mine. But.... 40 freakin dollars. Brother, why did I buy a Brother. (just wanted to say that). As far as the KILZ goes, in it's defense it is the best stuff I've used, and I've tried others on all sorts of stuff but man words can't describe the red I'm covering. Truthfully it was covered well enough after two coats that a color other than the KILZ itself would probably cover. I've just decided to leave the room white and make a backdrop thereby leaving the top portion of the room white for, hopefully, better light reflection. ( that and it will hide the absolutely hideous job of drywall taping I didWhistling) So I gave it another coat just to be sure the red wouldn't bleed through the white. Even though it probably wouldn't after the second coat using a decent paint, it definitely won't after the third. The wall still has a ever so slight pink color. I'm also using the Latex version which is nowhere near as good as the oil based version but I want to breath and stay in the house without every window open for ventilation. (man that stuff is potent). 'tis winter you know.

Tom- Like Chris said, when I was in band, a Trumpet man I was, the windy folks supplied their own reeds also. Of course if someone split a reed and didn't have a replacement, the band director would always seem to have one to fit in his briefcase. Wonder if he turned those in as an expense.

What's THAT??!! @#*$#! Village just undid the end of my drivewayGrumpy. That's it! I'm not gonna wave at them all morning!!

Now Ulrich- Be nice on the evaluation buddy. Remember not everyone is like you. Quite frankly, I wish our system had something like that. Not that it would work, because most don't want to, but it's a good start. Then, the roads need picked up etc. NOT for the ones who need it and can't get off it for medical and other legitimate reasons mind you, but there are a few out there who simple seem to be using the well intended system to their advantage. I know, I know it's hard to believe there are people like that, but even here in the land of pasturized milk and Honey with preservatives (why, I have no idea.) we have them. Imagine that. Maybe if in order to stay on it for no reason other than "I don't have a job and I need money so it‘s up to the government to see I get it. By the way, can I get a light so I can light up an $8 a pack cigarette and swill down some $20 a case beer." a job won't seem too bad faced with some nasty work that needs done. Probably not fair though. I'm suppose to work my sit upon off to make ends meet and throw money in a system so they can sit back and not have to. Doesn't sit well with me. Again, I have no problem with legitimate claims. THAT's what it was designed for and I still think it a good thing. If we could just come up with a way to weed out the abusers without offending anyone or going against anyones religion without mentioning the word, we'd be better off.

Sign - Oops sorry. Someone left the SoapBox out and I accidently stepped on it. Best watch where I step.

Actually now that Ulrich mentioned it, after the first coat of KILZ, IF, I had used a light gray primer, then a white it probably would have been just fine. Too bad I didn't think of that.

Ulrich (again)- Think about it. HO or N is a personal preference. I like HO because of the size and N because of the size and also dislike it because of the size. Cost wise, I'd say you wouldn't be saving a whole lot by going N. In fact, in the end it will cost more because you will be able to put more in a given space. I know overall that is not an issue for most of us no matter what our budgets, none of us believe we are going to build a layout for under 20 dollars. We just accept it will take longer to do. Personally and this is just me, if I were faced with a small area and had virtually no HO equipment, I would go N. I still sometimes say to myself, maybe I'll go N scale and then I'll have room for what I want. Plus some. But then I think, no I like HO and the size and I'll just work harder to get in there what I want. As long as I keep in my mind that I don't need parking for 50 cars at the Whataburger, it's just a model so just represent it like most others, I will be fine. Good luck and I hope you still have some hair when you make your decision.

Well, this turned out longer than I expected. Waaaaay longer. Sorry guys. Not sorry enough to edit it! (laughing maniacally as runs out the door. POOF! right into a huuuuge snow pile.)

Have a Great Day!!!

Good cold morning.  Give me Whistling......OJ, and the sausage biscuit.   More snow is coming.  1 - 3 today, and 2 - 4 tonight.  The problem is that the cities are running out of room for the snow.  They are already pushing into the yards.  Plus Pittsburgh has called in the National Guard.

Well I printed off some "signs" from Tomcat has been posting on the "layout" section on the website.  Can't use some of them but I did use some of the Cocoa Cola ones.  Maybe later I can get some more done on the layout.

Sawyer......Nice building.  I'm starting to get my feet wet in making my own buildings.  My buildings might not be the best looking, but it does save money.

Chris........Thats a wild story.  Leave it up to the troopers.  I went to a law enforcement school in NC, and the city/county cops were nice.  Days we had a trooper teaching, well it felt like you were in boot camp.  One even told us a story that he pulled over a sheriff for speeding.  He told us "if they break the law city/county PULL THEM OVER!!!!"  I was like Confused

Todd......Can't the primer be tinted?  Maybe put a layer on or two with the color you are going for.  I could be wrong but I thought you could tint it.

Vincent.......Those were the days.  Well for me..........Whistling   Now the "ring" says different Mischief

Ulrich........At least you are not like me and going with the first plan.  Sometimes I wish I could start over.   Plus..........How much snow have you gotten this year???  I told my wife that we have 50 inches so far this year, and that you probably get that in a day or two??

I guess I better go.  Seems like it wants to start to snow any minute.
