Afternoon all and it is the WEEKEND!!!!

I plan on getting some more plywood,power supply for my DCC system,and treated plywood for the ramp that goes up to the side of the garage where I take the bike in and out. If I don’t I might not make it down or up the ramp all the way one of these days.

Ok,it’s Apex time again

These pics are of a frame that holds the engine to a paddle boat and a paddle on each side of the boat. It is only scale and Tony is building it during the winter months and he is also the owner of the property that the track site is on. He does have a model of the engine built that will go into the frame but I didn’t get any pics of it.

The next two,I think are the best of all I took. The first isn’t bad but I think the second one is the best.

That’s about it for now and I have some that are special to me that I will post tomorrow.

Good eveing gents, cloudy, and off and on rain/showers all day today, but then the front came through like a raging bull on steroids!!! Wind gusts hit over 50 mph here, tree limbs fell across wires and set them on fire in areas of our town, but no outages at our house ....yet!! The power meter I have behind the computer was doing a rock n roll dance for over an hour....110, 120, 115, 112 124, etc as the high winds wreaked havoc with the power lines.

Went to the LHS today in Warren, Ma and picked up 6 more sections of Micro Engineering, weathered code 83 flex track, and three cars that were on sale.

DUKE: That is one nice layout, great pics as usual. I see that you are keeping the stock price up at HD...GOOD MAN !!!!!

JEFF: Do you have a Davis Weather Station at your house? All those readings are the same that I get off my Davis Weather Station up in the back yard. In fact, the Anemometer is spinning like a top right now with every big gust of wind.

Evening all I can't stay long but wanted to give and update for all who have been praying for my MIL, she passed away peacefully Wed. it saddens us but a least her pain is over. As for my husbands Echo Doppler all the tec would tell us is that Tom has a heart murmer(which we knew) and that his heart beat is irregular(which we didn't know) so we should be hearing from Tom's Dr next week. That's it for now.

Erik and I were working all afternoon to delete certain posts from the forum.  We got a bunch, but there's so many that there still might be some we missed.  RT was also reporting about the things going on.  Thanks RT.  It's nice to have support from others.  Most of all, thanks goes to Bergie for keeping this a clean place!

I'd like to say that I'm sorry for my part in the offencive postings as of late.  I was offended and I made it known.  Maybe that wasn't the right action.  I suppose it just spurred things on.  I came to realize that made me a target and you all were innocent bystanders.  Sorry that you all had to catch the flack.

PC I guess I was hoping that if he was ignored long enough it would quit and it did get a little farther in between,but there are some that just won’t let things go. It’s too bad that there is always someone in every hobby that will give it a bad name and I guess that is one of the facts of life. Don’t worry about if you dragged us into it or not because I for one don’t look at it that way and it could have been anyone of us.

Morning all, just some coffee for now Janie,
Another cold star for the day here, but the quessers are saying it won't be to bad a day, warmer with some sun. rain coming in again later this this evening.

Spent most of the last half the day over to the hospital yesterday. Mom had a heart attack during her stress test.
They did the balloon and stint on her and she should come home some time today. They found she had another blockage also, but want to wait a couple weeks to fix it.
Mom had called me this week to find out about stress test I had awhile back, and I told her, she'd know what a heart attack felt like when it was done, but didn't mean in this way.
We checked on Becky while we were there, she's still bout the same. They've put a traek tube in and she seems to breath more on her own now and they put in a feeding tube, hopefuly this help even more
Deb n me are going back over this morning for awhile to check on them both.

Ryan,,, I was a rounder for awhile, and it sure seemed fun at the time, but some of the things, not so much now.
 I was bout 9 or 10 when I found, that a twin bed sheet does not work for a parachute off a 32' barn roof.

We hauled hay yesterday. Made two  trips and finally got home about 9:30pm. I've still got to unload the trailers tonight. Not much else to report. Of course I'm at work now and will shortly have to go out and get the joint ready for our guests.

I'm going to try to get some work done on the layout today. A general pickupo of things which shouldn't be there followed by sealing the surface of the drywall compound with shellac. After that's dry, a coat of brown paint followed by green in areas where foliage will go down. I'll then give Dave Volmer's sloppy method a try.

Me, I'm catching up on schoolwork.  Got lots to do.  Gotta do a few hours of schoolwork, then go back to the house and pick up the kid that stayed the night last night with my son, drop him at home, chill for a couple of hours with the family, then head to church where we pick up another kid to stay the night with my son.  He's quite the social butterfly I guess!

Good Morning all [or whats left of it]....Don't have a fancy weather station but its sunny this morning with rain coming in later...I use to have to take care of weather stats at the station and learned how to read radar we had a old air craft radar that only scanned a 1/4 of a section at a time...Had to tilt it lots of ground cluter..You could follow a storm up to about a couple of miles from town then we lost it till it passed over...We had a monitor set up out in the lobby with a couple of chairs and it wasn't anything to see 5 or 6 farmers out there for a hour or two just watching the screen.....

Well I got the tunnel finnished need to "plant" some trees and touch up some spots....I am not real happy with the portal I was trying for a natural blasted out of the rock look but can't seem to get it look like what I can see in my mind..anybody else every have that problem...

Mike...Your mom is in our thoughts and prayers..If you need anything give us a holler...

Sallie got up feeling good made oatmal for breakfast then started feeling bad and went back to lay down and I need to go check on her...You all have a good day...
