I was born Oct. 31, 1961, and my sister was born Nov. 1, 1962.

Dick, thanks for today's history lessons. Now I know why my computer acts up so much!

Good afternoon gents, I see that Jeff paid attention in History class, or, he looked it up on the enet, either way, Jeff did a great job of answering correctly AND, giving an excellent background history lesson as well. "A" is CORRECT !!!!

And, now for your Spanish lesson for today, see how you would have answered this question posed to the Spanish class recently:

This is hilarious, Which do you think won???? Male

Good question!

How about this one. My sister was born exactly a year and a day after me on November 1st.

How the world turns.

My younger sister was born exactly 2 years, 1 day after I was. I was born 7/7/60 and she was born 7/8/62 exactly 2 years, 1 day.

Me and the wife tried to get married on the 13'th, so our anniverary would fall on Fri. the 13'th some day.
Couldn't find a preacher to do it, so it's the 14'th instead.

Well it looks like I'm buying. Have at it gang. I'm having the chicken strips with fries and gravey and some BBQ sauce.

When I talked to the phone guy he said that there was a chock in the line near me that should have cut down the speed. I don't know what that is but he was surprised that I was getting the speed that I was. I have a neighbor who has a high sped set up buy a dish and a tower near here. He gets pretty good speeds but pays for it. He usesthe puter for his business so it's deducable. What I need to do is contact some of the neighbors and find out what they have. Most of them are much better off than we are so whatever they us may be out of our price range. I'd rather use the money for trains.

I'd like to get ether DSL or cable but they are not available in the sticks. Also the price is more than I'd feel comfortable with right now. PeoplePC is suposed to have a faster speed system but when I talked to the phone repair man a couple of weeks ago he said that there was a "chock" in the line and he was supprised that I was getting what I was 26.4kps to 28.8kps.

Trivia: A

The idea of DST was first put into practice by the German government during World War I, between April 30, 1916 and October 1, 1916. Shortly afterward, the UK followed suit, first adopting it between May 21 and October 1, 1916.  On June 17, 1917,  Newfoundland became the first North American jurisdiction to adopt DST with the passing of the Daylight Saving Act of 1917. On March 19, 1918, the U.S. Congress established several time zones, which had been in use by railroads and most cities since 1883 and made DST official, effective March 3.

Stuff like that was standard learning when I was in school.

STEVE: WOW, you are really taking a hop across the pond!! Do you think this will be better for your health? The air should be really much cleaner. I winder where the LHS is in New Zealand?

RYAN: Frosty out there this morning? Now you know what northerners mean when they say, " the frost is on the pumpkins this morning"!!!

LISA: You certainly have had more than your share of sadness and problems, we continue to pray for you and your family Lisa, it will get better.

All those who answer correctly get a free lunch in the CS today.

And remember, we go back to standard time this coming Saturday night, FALL back in FALL.

See you guys at lunchtime, Mike, save the corner table please...

Well, time to look like I work somewhere.  Later!
