Hi all still here just haven't been posting. Been dealing with what was normally a good ebayer (400+ feedback 99.8) but no payment over about a 3 week period just finally cancle the sale thru ebay yes he'll get a strike but I think unless he wants to still be a pain just leave the feedbacks alone on this one. I know I should at least do a nuetral and state 3 weeks no payment but then he does a neg back because he wants to be a southside of a donkey. I did put him on my block list so he never can bid on any of my items again.
Not much else happening around here been keeping busy with farm work. plan to try and start working on the floor here in this room soon hopefully like this weekend maybe do a little at a time. Then the walls lol. and maybe in a year or two as slow I get to things because of other items I might even get my layout started. By the way for planing purposes how far do I to give to lower or raise my track about 5" seeing I'm in O gauge I should be able to do it faster than the rest of you in n or HO. I would think. to where my trains could pull a fair load up or down. Once I get some of my figureing out on how to do this or that to transfer some files from one putor to the other (no network setup ) I'll give some pics of some of my latest additions like the 2 U36B's southern engines I picked up. The NYC passenger set. (4 cars )
By the way girls I'll have a large diet sprite and some crackers.
#welcome to all new freinds and the ones who have returned under new names (lilrob) and any other mia's that have been busy or what ever.
Time to go see the TV for a while I guess.

JEFF: I don't recognize that color scheme on the F unit, what line is that?
That's an E unit! E6 to be exact. It's in Kansas City Southern passenger livery. I don't run passenger trains but I just had to have it when I saw it. It's a P2K on a Kato drive. I can't even hear the motor running!

Evening all and just a short one
PC The Devil’s Shingle to me looks like it would be fun,but then I like roller coasters and it could be close to seeing how fast you can take curves on a motorcycle.
Ryan You could probably add to this if you remember who my mascot was on the bike, because some have said that his name is fitting of me at times.
That’s about it
Talk to you later

Evening all, an irish coffee Cleo, think the rains over now, winds shifted to the N., down right cold out there, and it feels more like snow weather. None forecasted yet
Got some layout in today, no real progress to talk out yet. Plan on some more this evening Oh, and don't plan on one from me like RYAN's. I don't have that much energy.

LIL ROB was in here yesterday. He has a new Handle now , Texasrailnut. Thanks for the link to Mt. Washington, it was a different look.

Yea, we need to send out a search party for all of them! I wonder if they were abducted?

Pc, you won't catch me on that thing.
OK, take a look at this.
That's a P2K E6 in KCS colors. It's on a Kato drive and runs so quiet, I can't even hear the motor running.

Aren't Lotus's (or is that Loti?) fun? I had a friend with an 11 that was just the coolest thing to work on. Used to just humiliate the more powerful cars at the track!
Good Afternoon All,
Pizza for lunch for me please.
Dick - Forecast for tomorrow is for rain locally heavy at times, but ending by evening. Dry for Sunday. Means no work on the RS-11 if it does rain Sat and rearrange the schedule so I can be in the yard on Sunday instead. If I'm smart I'll sneak over there this afternoon just to make sure it's all battened down.
HEY!
Time for lunch!
Who's hungry? How about some Mexican?
And for desert! Sopapilla!

And a third voice from Indiana is heard! Hello!
grayfox1119, all that rain is coming through here too, so you're not alone!
So whats up everyone?
Jeff's got breakfast fired up! I'm down with that!
Got lots of work to do today, and then I've got to complete the move-out process this weekend. Gotta turn over the keys to the old place on Tuesday. I sure am glad to be out of there, but I'm going to mis that place. We were there for ten years. When we moved in my son was only 1. But the new place is great. And hey, it just occured to me I haven't shown you all a pic of it now that it's finished! I'll get one this weekend when it stops raining so you can check it out.
Well, time to act like I work somewhere!
Later!

SAFETY TIP FOR TODAY: Don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors this weekend!!!! Many lives have been lost in house fires because of dead or missing batteries in home smoke detectors.
That's a great safety tip, one I give in my fire safety lessons and demonstrations. Also test those detectors at least once every couple of months. I test mine once a month and also test the CO detector.

Good morning! I’ll have what Jeff is having Chloe, looking like a good breakfast there, and that tall OJ too!
I hope you have your skiff or pirogue ready Jeff, you all been getting more that enough rain the past few weeks eh!
Welcome to the Coffee Shop Dan! Just ask Chloe, or Zoe, or Flo, our always on time diner associates who are ready to serve a hot cup of coffee! Whoever has the top of the page (TOP) is in charge of supplying the $$$ for current meal time, in this case Jeff has the honors, and he has justly offered up a nice breakfast platter, so dig in! PC had the honors yesterday morn and had a breakfast buffet up that was a big hit!
Oh and another tip, Ed has a steady supply of fresh squeeze OJ shipped in on a weekly basis by tank car from South of the Border. Demand is up about this time of year due to the change in weather.
Have a great weekend everyone.
REMINDER: Set your clocks back an hour Saturday evening! Daylight savings time ends early Sunday morning.
Cheers,
Ryan
Good Morning All,
That looks good Jeffrey - I'll have the same please Zoe and a bit of regular coffee as well please. Scraped frost off the windshield this morning - not real ice yet, but close. Didn't feel ambitious enough to work on the layout last night and so I looked through the 2007 Layouts book that just arrived. Lots of nice stuff in there and lots of examples of how to spend the next ten or so years building. I'm happy to get a building erected let alone lighting and an interior at this stage. For that matter, I'm still laying roadbed and track.
Work beckons - another Lotus 7 turning into a major job before my eyes but the stuff that was done to the poor car is unbelievable. No worries though, we're here to fix the problems and make it all better. Time to pick up tools (in this case sawsalls and grinders). CUL, J.R.
