Thanks! The panel is originally drawn in AutoCAD and then imported into an etching program that etches the lines into the plastic. The plastic is black with a white plastic overlay.

Weathers better this morning; the bad storms went N and S of us again last night, lucked out again. Looks like we’ll have a nice weekend, highs in the low 80’s and low humidity.

HCLX is Helm Leasing.

#6307 is an SD40-2
#6141 is an SD40T-2. If I'm not mistaken, that's a "Tunnel Motor". Not exactly your most common type of locomotive. Congrats on a good find.

Anyhoo, that's as close as I came to an answer. There appears to be no discernable logic in the numbering system as far as types of locos are concerned.

Good morning all! Well, the folks are on their way this morning, they paid a visit for five days and are heading out to Knoxville today, and then they are off to Nashville and then the Natchez Trace Parkway. Hopefully we will get to have some time off for the holidays to go back to New Orleans for a visit.

Morning all,
Well the move to Mississippi is becomming more of a reality. Neighbor from down the road called last evening to go down and talk.Here we own the house and a 5 acre mobile home park next door. They want to buy the house and the park. We have another house and I sold that to the tenents that are living there this past week. That will leave us with one four-plex apartment to sell. And where it's at they sell fast. It's in a very desirable area.
The move to Miss. will be a consirable downsize. We will be moving from a 4,100 sq. ft. house to a 2,776 sq. ft. house. If she will let me cut off a few bedrooms it wil be smaller.

Evening all, Got back from the LHS Tonight with the required supplies and.... Something I had been Eyeing since this time last year...I also Took my mum with me, and she was pointing out paint schemes she liked, to my suprise, she loves the SP Bloody nose!, she also saw an 8-40CW in Conrail Blue which she liked, mainly because it had $60 off the price! she also liked the New Haven scheme and Great northern scheme on RTR RS3's.... Anyway pics as promised....





A Nice shiny BNSF GP38-2 From P2K, this is my second 38 my other being a SOO line one, And I love them both, A Quick Question If I may, I noticed a Athearn RTR RS3 In the D&RGW Bumble Bee scheme, Is this schem correct on this particular loco?, It looks soo nice, I might buy it next time [8D] Or some AT&SF CF7 they just got in... hmmm Decisions.... Mornin all, how bout a cup of gear grease this morning Zoe, think my tranys slippen, can’t sleep anyway. Been up since 2:30.
Another hot one on for today with a chance of severe thunderstorms, weather guessers say 2 more days of this.
Broke down an turned the Ac on yesterday and even put the AC in our bed room, OH well it’s only money. It’s got to where this grandpa don’t do well in the humidity anymore.

Neal , the wife says she’s still 29, but with 20 years experience, and she still takes college classes. In one class she took awhile back she was older than the instructor.

According to Zach and some of his sources the Chinese steam engines are on H HOUGAL9 21. It was around the Somerville, Texas, area about 9:30 tonight, with BNSF 838 and BNSF 636 as power.

Keep a sharp eye out now for those Chinese steam engines. They just showed up in a trace at . . . . . Phillipsburg, Texas. If MapQuest gave me the correct location they are only 40 to 60 miles outside of Houston. We are going to try another trace in a few minutes and see what it says.

Right now it looks like they are headed for Ft. Worth. [:0] I will keep you all posted.

ArkJim! Now that you’ve come back to foot the bill, it’s safe for me to return also.[(-D]
Been away for what seems like weeks,(at least 14 pages) and no mrr in all that time.[V] The local museum is now back almost to normal, and there are even a few new exhibits. However, I’ve got a bunch more work to do to get it to where I want it. Anyone with computer skills around scanned images? I’ve scanned off about 75 pages of material about the Halifax Explosion in Dec 1917. There are filed as TIFs, and open on my computer as Microsoft Office files. I’ve got them saved on a CD, but before I delete them from my computer where they are taking up over 350 meg of space, I would like to know how to convert hem to jpegs. They are multi-page files. When I try the “Save As” route, all I get is the first page of each file, not the other pages. Microsoft’s Office Document viewer doesn’t seem to have a “Copy” function for individual pages.
Any help you could suggest would be appreciated.
