Lisa, there's two of them.  I think they should both be finding wives.  It is a priveledge and honor to have two such wonderful sons.  I can't take up this entire forum with this, but just let it be known that I live for these guys.  Trains are pretty far down the list sometimes.

James: An early Happy B-Day [bday]. It's early because if I wait I'll forget. That's the way it is for us old codgers. Maybe Mrs Inch will bake you a cake? How about that Inch?

Not much since earlyer. The tooth is still bothering me but I'll keep on keeping on. It's HECK getting old.

I'm going to hit the sack. If this tooth keeps me awake I'll get out the big guns and take some of that Hydrocodon that I'v been avoiding. It tends to give me constipation. Blush [:I]Sad [:(]

Der: Mangoes can be had for about $2 here but the last four to five years we've had poor numbers with Cyclones and poisoning, and fruit BATS!Angry [:(!] so that has driven the price up, and due to disease risks they won't import mangoes from overseas.

as for size the bowen ones are about the size of a clenched fist and R2E2's are about twice the size.

Oh yeah I got some pics posted over at trains forum, and this sunday I'm heading out again to chase the QR Rail Grinder!! Be awesome to see one in action and to get pics!!

I haven’t figured out how to do the quotes yet because I don’t think they work the same as in the old way,do they??

Yeah, basically the same way.  If you hit the "quote" button at the right side of the message you'll get a reply screen that has the entire message quoted.  You can just delete the parts you don't want to quote (instead of having the whole message show up as quoted when you only want to respond to one point).  That's how I did it with this response.

The other way is also the same as before.  Highlight and copy the part of the message you want to quote.  Hit the reply button.  In the reply box type in [ quote ], then 'paste' the text you previously copied. then close with [ /quote ] (both without the extra spaces, of course.)

Hit the 'preview post' button to check that it came out the way you wanted before posting, or go back to the post and hit the 'edit' button to correct it.

Ryan is this the Diet your talking about

For those of you who are trying to lose weight and to stay fit-the sort of advice you have
been waiting to hear all along -you'll love this !

HEALTH QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?

A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don'twaste them on exercise.
Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer;
that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live
longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?

A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are
these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering
vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field
grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended
daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?

A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the
water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also
made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?

A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two
bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?

A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good !

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?

A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!. Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're
permeated in it How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?

A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing
sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?

A: Are you crazy? HELLO ..... Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good
food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?

A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.

Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?

A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!

Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and
diets.

I dont know how common that name is.
Duce, in Louisiana the name ‘Boudreaux’ is very common. It is a
Cajun French name, and in fact at one time in New Orleans there
were at least 5-7 pages of Boudreaux’s in the phone book. Now
I have no idea how many, since the population is about half
what it was pre-Katrina. It is funny because I only know four
other Boudreaux’s in New Orleans and two of them are my parents,
and the third one is my sister.

inch:   ED, the last pics I post, all you  had to do was click on the pic and it enlarged. Don't know why the last ones didn't. For some reason I can no longer get the old way to work in Firefox.
Inch, the problem isn't with Firefox.  The photo address you're posting is the "Thumbnail" or small version.  Next time you post, look at the address of the photo.  Near the end it will have something like xxxx/thumbs/aaa.jpg  as part of the address.  Just remove "thumbs/" and leave the rest.  That way the address will reference the main picture.  That's all I did to post the larger version of your photo in my post.

Good morning.

Cary - Congrats on your retirement from the USN.  I remember the day I left my base in Halifax after 31 years in the Navy, it felt like a huge load was lifted from my shoulder, it was about 11:00 am.  I went home and re-read all the papers that I had been given that morning.  I also remember the next day when I got up and said "Now, what am I going to wear?".   Laugh [(-D]

I hope your CFO is doing fine and you as well.

Happy MRRing.

Mornin all, I'll have the farmers specail, OJ, coffee, please Zoe,
Going to warmer today, with increasing clouds, chance of tomorrow. Just so it don't rain today, got KC n Leroy, makes the day go betters if they can play out side.
Got all the sheet metal on and the windows in the shed yesterday, still have to build the doors yet. Got $30 [ had to buy 8 2x4x10 and some nails] in an8x10 addition. All used stuff, now my lumber pile low, other than some Grand Turn pine [well seasoned oak].

RYAN, May have to try bilding that yard some day. Yes I have some Amtrak, I might make Ben a deal on it too, if he interested.

PC, Well at least the Museum is not a far to drive, like it is for us to see the older stuff. Thatks for the Amtrak pic.

ED, the lsat pics I post, all you  had to do was click on the pic and it enlarged. Don't know why the last ones didn't. For some reason I can no longer get the old way to work in Firefox.

ROB, I liked the old paint better too. They have another F unit in the shop awaiting restoration, I thank it's going to be PRR colors. I got a pic of the front of it to post laters, couldn't get a better one
Thanks for your pics too.

STEVE, that a purrty high price for an exhaust, what year Audi do you have.

DUCE, Hope every things goin well the the CFO, we'll be thinkin of ya'll.

Do'nt think sellin your tools was the smartest part of the plan there son.

Not anything planned for the, other than the kids. We got 5-5 gal buckets of sweet corn from Debs mom last evening [and supper too], to put in the freezer tonight [what fun]. Mother said we're going to start canning relesh this weekend [even more fun], and maybe tomatoes. Well time fur chores, hope ya'll has a goood day

Hello Guys,

Chloe I'll have the Duce special. Large sweet tea and some hot wings please.

I have not had the time to jump on and respond really so I have alot of making up to do. The CFO had surgery today and the Doc. kick me and Nate out at 2000 (8:00pm)Wink [;)] so its just me and the Little guy tonight. I love being a father. Its great.

First off thatnks for all the Congrats and welcome backs. I missed this place. I drove by a couple times but didnt have the chance to come in and have a sit. Its good to be back.

Chloe could you get me a mango out here so I can see how ED eats one of those things. I didnt know you could eat it any other way then getting it all over you.

Trent: could you email me. I have a question for you.

Ryan: I work with a guy with your last name. He's from New Orleans. I dont know how common that name is.

ED: Ill have to Check Trents place out when I get down that way. I may be heading up at the end of this month so go check out the land a bit.

Duke: I agree it was never all that bad. I guess with any work you have good and bad. I have had many good times. Sometime to good of a time while in the Navy. I have been to the gulf 3 times and around the world twice. Its just Like what INDYSON said its time for me to move on! I want to be a father more then I want to be a sailor. I'll miss it. It's all I know really. Ive been doing it for over 12 years now. It was the first real job I ever had and like I had said all I know is launching aircraft. So this cattle think (if thats what we deside to do) is total new to me.

Paul: I may have to take you up on that offer.

Well guys I have to get down to the hospital early not to mention Nate wakes up at 0430 (4:30am) for some chow. That little guy keeps me on my toes. I though this was going to be easy...lololol.... WRONG.. I love it though.

Talk to all you guys again soon I hope.

Cary

Just so I talk a little about trains... I miss my layout.lololol. It sucks to see all my trains put up in little boxes instead of out running around on the tracks. Just so you guy know. I dont think I had told you guys. But a had layed the last 2 flex tracks a week before I desided to sale the house. Thinking it would take like 6 months to sale. It sold in 3 days. So we had to rush to find a small apartment and then sold EVERYTHING execpt my trains and baseball cards..lolol Tools and all. When the guy came to pick up the bed he bought from us I didnt even have a screwdriver to take the thing apart.

Talk to you guys later.

Catch Ya later, Cary

Hello everyone,

I need a stiff drink,

just paid £325 for an exhaust for my car, I had to get a custom builder to do a stainless one as there are none available from any of the manufacturers for my model of car, it's an audi quattro of which there are less than 20 of the same model left in the UK, so it had to be a custom job
