Evenin all, barley pop please Cleo,

No kids tonight, so getting in some MRR time while I can. Update on our DIL's mom is, it's not meninjitus, but they still don't know what wrong with her yet. They ask Heather if her mom had been bit by any kind of bugs, and she remebered Becky telling her she was bit by a spider. So maybe that will help.

DUKE,,,, that was my favorite too. Sure a enjoying your pics from the steam meet also.

Jerry ,,, don't know bout Trains, I've seen to many better photos there than I ever get.

Lisa p,,, we'll keep ya'll in our thoughts.

PC,,,, thanks

Thanks for the congrads on the pic.  Best get back to playing, catch ya'll laters

Good morning, Philip.

Mornin!

How's everyone today?

Jeff, hook me up my man!  Beggs & Acon!  Yeah!

Lisa, Kind of a mixed bag of news, huh?  It's not good, but it could be worse.  Then lets throw in the maybe factor and try a solution that we don't know for sure will work.  Ya know, my family has health issues, so we work with a lot of doctors, and I've come to realize, .......they're guessing about a third of the time I think.  Comforting, isn't it?  Nevertheless, I'll continue praying for you and yours to the Great Healer who never guesses.

Oh well, time to act like I'm doing something.  Later!

Hey all,
Got off the phone with RT's wife Donna abit ago.

She ask if I'd post that RT's mom passed away this morning.

I told her our thoughts would be all of  them, and to know she be in a better place than us now

Hey again,
Ya'll know that I said our DIL's mom was in the hospital. Well thing s took a turn worse.
Had to move Becky into critical care and now have her in a drug induced coma, because she kept trying to tame out the resperater.
Doc's told Clyde her organs are trying to shut down, They know there's an infection, but know where or what, to treat for or with.

Could use a special prayer here ya'll. Her mom is all Heather really has left now. Heather's dad died when she was 11 and her step dad, when she was 18

Hollers more, when we know more. They're kids are here, bugging grandpa now

Evening all.  I just got back from Timonium a couple hours ago.  I don't know if this was an exceptionally good show or if I just needed a railroad fix, but I really enjoyed it this time.  I bought a Spectrum K4.  Don't have any active track to run it on yet but hopefully soon.  I also picked up some of those building blocks that Fergie posted about.  Hunter Scenery had a table set up near M.L. Klein.  I asked if they were the same ones I read about on the forums to make sure they were the same.  He asked what my screen name is then gave me a discount for mentioning I saw it on the forums.  I got two bags for a total of $10.  Now I can play with them and see what I can do.  Two bags should be enough to make a lot of mistakes.

RT, my condolences for your loss.  Even though it was expected you can never really be prepared for something like that.  My thoughts and prayers for Inch and Lisa as well, and your families.

Guess that's about it, I was just excited about the train show today.  Gives me more incentive to get the repairs done in the train room faster.

Good evening to all, we just got back from the White Mountains of New Hampshire Friday afternoon. The weather was the best that we have ever had since going up there beginning in 1983. Every day was clear with temps in upper 60's, rained one night, but who cares at night!
Got to ride the Conwat Scenic RR again from North Conway through Crawford Notch to Crawford Station being pulled by former CN F9. The colors were past peak this year by at least a week. Usually, peak is the 7th through the 15th of October in this area of New Hampshire.
Of course I also got to my favorite LHS in Intervale, NH, and picked up a few items....no sales tax in NH really helps too.

The PC was O/A the day we left for vacation, and was still dead when I returned. Just a little white cursor bar in the upper left corner flashing off and On. I checked the TS LED's on the back of the PC tower and discovered that C & D LED's were amber, indicating that there was a problem with one of cards or USB devices. I found that one of the devices plugged in externally to a USB expander was causing the trouble..fixed it.

RT: We are sorry to hear the mom passed away. Our thoughts and prayers for you and your family RT!!!

MIKE: Prayers will be extended for your DIL's mother Mike.

Welcome to new members of the CS while I was away....have a brew on me !!

DUKE: Glad you had a good trip, and arrived home safely. Nice pics of you and Ryan and wife, that train looks like a real nice layout...a lot of work went into that layout.

LISA: We will keep your husband in our prayers. I hope that the aspirin works, I have been taking 81mg since age 50, and it works for me so far. It is highly recommended for people over age 50, especially men.

Here is a website address for everyone to check out. This will really bring back memories of all the old TV shows since 1947 , with sound. Just copy it to your browser.

RT-Thanks for the pics.

Ryan- Campbell Soups used to sell Ox-Tail soup in cans. Thanks for the pics. Ya'll make a good threesome. Yes, it is nice to meet up with others from the CS.

Got lucky at the train show. $3 for a Rivarossi B-M snowplow, $5 each for a r-t-r B-M 50 ft. box and a D&RG Cookie boxcar. It is the third in that series. Now have 60026,60028 and now 60052. Also picked up a couple Southerns and an FEC 50 ft.box.

Prayers for us all and Thankyou Lord for all our Blessings.
