Todd casually leans back in his booth and very descretly eaves drops on Jacks conversation to see if he can "learn" anything, shall  we say, of importance.

...The fuel tank and the trucks...

Oh I see. The fuel tank is off a '57 Chevy and the trucks are Fords!

Rats! I'll just wait it out.
I'll give you two clues. The year 1976 and the number 3084.

* From his bag, Bauer removes a propane torch...and ignites it.

"You're going to tell me what I need to know..." he snarls.

What ho! A wise guy's just shown up. Could it be he's in cahoots with Jeff to throw us numbskulls off? Wait! Barry has not been in since the news of the Captains release. Could it be he's been out bribing Philip with pies to try and get Jeff to talk? Oh my.....will we have to call 911? The plot thickens. I'll just sit back and see what other characters show up.

Oh my....Sigh

Have ya ever heard of a little TV show called "24"?

Jack Bauer finds...shall we say, rather interesting methods to employ to extract vital information from people who don't really want to tell him.

Ray- Did I tell you to start your lawn mower in the winter? Sorry, I'm old. I forget. I just drain the gas from the carb (run it til it dies) and hope for the best in the spring. so far so good.

Uh.....No, I think that was somebody else back a couple of pages.......  My problem was there was a little gas left in the darned thing and it had to fire up long enough to get that through so the good gas I had just put in would run the motor.  I don't know why the governor on it didn't work though.  It did that last year near the end of the season so it may have something stuck in that assembly preventing it from running right all the time.

I'm going to see if my neighbor across the street wants to buy it.  He mentioned a week ago that he might be interested in it.  He used to work in the landscaping business and now does the same thing for the local schools.  Taking it apart and finding out what is going on would be no problem for him.....  And the price will be right!  It's only 1 year old.

I'll be back as soon as I read the next 2 pages that happened while I was out on a date with my favorite girl this afternoon...

Ray- i must say I have been real lucky on over wintering gas in the mowers. Only got me once. Like I said I shut the fuel off and run the carb dry, but I push it with the gas in the tanks. I'm cheap I guess. Aaaaand I see why you have been preoccupied. That is a cute picture of a real cutie. You wouldn't be proud of her now would you?
