Good Morning from Tipton IN !
Bill Tidler Jr.
Near a cornfield in Indiana...
A very early good morning, can't sleep now after falling asleep bout 8:30 watchin tv. Can I have a glass of warm milk n honey n the last piece of strawberry/rhubarb pie Flo.
Got some strange weather here now. Got up to 34 this afternoon, then fell to 29, now it's back up to 38 [at 2 am]. Suppose to be partly sunny with a high in the upper 40's today. We didn't get a Jan thaw, but looks like Feb might be on track for warmer weather..
New pain Meds are doing ok, not half sick on the time and don't hurt as bad. I did get some more roadwork done on the layout. It's still not close to finished.
Well I'll get going; maybe I can get some sleep. Thoughts for all those n need.

Evening all.
It's been a busy week... Sorry for the no-update. Oh, chloe, I guess I'll have a vanilla shake. Thanks.
Thursday I got to visit the highschool that I will be going to all day (It's the only one I was allowed to apply to, but that was fine with me. I know I'll get in, it's just a question of if I get a scholarship or not.). It was fun, and interesting... I can't wait for next year. six months, I guess.
There's a trainshow tommorow, not sure if I'm going to be able to go though. Mom is babysitting some strange russian dog for a family, and they come back tommorow... And Superbowl Sunday is tommorow, I don't think I'll watch though. I don't care much for either team... Can't wait for next season... Probably about time I changed my avatar from Jason Witten to something else.
In trainworld, I operated a little bit, and added more to the mountain. Not much else.... Been pretty busy.
I've also started playing around more in a physics simulation program called Phun, which is really fun, actually... I've made all sorts of things, like 2-8-0s, helicopters, a 1969 charger with a cannon on it's roof, and more recently, all sorts of guns. I've made what I call a G82A, G82B, G82C, and an M942. The G82A is a spring loaded-automatic fire gun... Magazine only holds 13 rounds, and it doesn't shoot fast. It also breaks a lot... The G82B, however has a different striker than the G82A, and is much more reliable and shoots much quicker. The G82C is a G82B with a 30 round magazine... So far, none of the magazines are interchangeable... Anyways, the M942 (M249 backwards, tricky tricky) is a belt-fed fully automatic type gun... It shoots quickly, and is pretty reliable. Because it is belt fed, I've had belts ranging from 5 rounds to 100 rounds. I have a video on youtube of the G82's, and a couple others M942 will come soon... Here's the link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNHfMaW-K-Y Sorry about the audio, it manages to pick up just about everything. You can go ahead and mute it, or here one side of a conversasion between my friend and I...
See y'all later.
Mark
Well, it has been an enjoyable evening--all peace and quiet--tomorrow I get to do some housework and attempt to see some of the game tomorrow--that is if I don't get too wrapped up in train stuff. My next door neighbour will let me know who won --he's got the entire neighbourhood over at his place so I'll know one way or t'other.
is who I expect will win---so there HHAAARRRUUUUMMPH!!!
Although I do kinda wonder---
Anyhoooooo---I'm going to have another slice o' that StrawberryRhubarb PIE!!! and a chamomile tea please---I'se be headin' off to

Evening all from --oh Heck, you know what it's like out here--Cal. Just got back from playing Vesper Mass, and somehow I ended up hosting a SuperBowl game over at my place tomorrow. Must be my 45" wide-screen TV and Surround Sound system or something. At least it's Pot-Luck, so it should be fun.
Now, if you don't mind my asking: Who's PLAYING? . I haven't been following it this year, so I'm really out of the loop. Among the 25 or so people coming over is my Parish Priest, my Music Director and a really cool nun--Sr. Margie--who was also my Sponsor when I made my conversion about 15 years ago. And they are REALLY rowdy, so it should be a fun game, even if I DON'T know who to root for. Luckily for me, the MR is running fairly well, so those of us who get bored with the game can go out in the garage and run some trains, LOL! .
Sawyer: I probably shouldn't say this, because I'm a pretty peaceful kind of guy, but there's nothing like the sound of a good Left Hook right under the jaw of a bully to cure him fairly permanently. And if you angle your fist a little to the left on the up-swing, you won't even hurt it. I went through High School, too. Had a guy that thought I'd never hit him because I was a pianist and didn't want to hurt my hand. Yah, right! He never bothered me again after that. Actually, we became fairly good friends.
MadSinger: Congratulations on your placement--singers always turn into very good speakers--it's that old Diaphragm and breath control. Keep in there, my friend. Amazing how good speech technique will help you later on.
Terry: Just caught the dog story--you are my HERO!! As a follower of St. Francis, I am utterly devoted to the fact that all life is Sacred. You just proved it.
Well, the saga of my buddy and the Condo Nazi's goes on. I finally told him to just buy a house, especially with the market at a bottom low here in the Valley. I mean, he's a PATHOLOGIST, for cryin' out loud, he can AFFORD one! He's thinking about that. Meanwhile, his little cat Wiezl and my huge Wegie Remington are tearing up the house with great glee--with Spooky looking on in disdain, giving me her "They're such COMMON cats, Daddy" look. BTW, weighed Remington last night (THAT was fun!) and he's gained a pound since he arrived at my place. 20 pounds and he's got two years left to grow. Holy Wotan, I've got me a REAL Viking! All muscle, I might add. Thank God he's a gentle goofball.
Oh, and BTW, if you want to know what a Pathologist does, Don told me. He lets you know if you're either Dead or Pregnant. Weird guy, but he's fun. I told him to come over for the Superbowl Festivities tomorrow if he promises not to autopsy the Pizza.
That's about it from Cal tonight. Time to settle in with a good Western DVD on the telly. I'm in a John Ford mood tonight, so think I'll watch THE SEARCHERS. Dang good movie!
Best to all, prayers for those in need.
PS: I was kidding, I know who's playing tomorrow--the Yankees and the Dodgers.

Hello again all!!
To those who are in pain or need prayer, know that it is here for you!
I just got back from a visit to my parents, and boy did I find a box!!! This box is from several years ago, I can tell by the dust and the type of boxes in there!! One box is labeled AHM and contains a 4-6-2, custom decaled for the LV, there isn't any writing on it except for "Rivarossi" and "Made in Italy" on the bottom of the engine... the box is labelled as "4-6-2 Heavywqeight Pacific, 5087-C SF"
The other smaller box is labeled "Mikado 2-8-2 W/S - B&O, but the engine only has 2-8-0...
My question is, if he (my Poppop) passed away in 1990, and these engines were his, are they worth converting to DCC??? Or should I make REALLY REALLY nice displays for them and hold them for sentimental value?? I'd like to think that his response to the latter comment would be " Get those ***** things off that shelf and use them for heaven sakes!" So if it's possible I'd love to convert, but not waste my time... I wish I had a section of track in the current house I'm living in to test these bad boys out... Have to figure something out right!?!
Also in the box were several Life-Like Electric-Remote controlled HO switches, still sealed in their bubble packages and labeled with Toys R Us price tag of $3.99, are they worth using or are they gonna cause me problems?
Also, just received my Ebay spoils!!! Can't believe I got the GP30 and C30-7 for the price of just one of them!!! I felt like Unca Roggie, a kid on Christmas, tearing through the outer boxes to the bright shiny engines inside!!!
Thanks,
Good evening people! I'll have the Tarragon-Cassia Chicken Livers please, with mashed potato, snow peas and tomatoes. And since it's my tab for the page, tuck in folks!
Happy news...there's a brand new steam locomotive in the UK! Flip sent me this in an email today.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jMYfyVS2A9M&NR=1
Also, that gremlin has been found and dispatched. I did the bolster tweaking, and that resulted in a more stable car...put it on the track and ran it through the trouble spot...Whamo! It promptly landed on its side! Worse than before. So, let's have a very careful look at the track itself. There is a track joint very close to the spot. Looking straight down on it, everything appears to be in line, no kinks, miss-alignments etc. However, a finger rubbed along the inside of the rail does detect a slight discontinuity. File some on the inside of the rail. Try again, same flip-over. Get out the rail adjusting pliers and gently squeeze the rails at the joint, bending slightly. Test again, and Voila! We have a decided absence of lift off, a positive tracking through the trouble spot.
However, on running the three car train around the layout there are a number of incidents that lead me to think that perhaps the Maritime Trunk should retire its 6 axel passenger fleet, and use only 4 axel cars from now on. It happens that I have a 4 axel passenger car painted for CN (Minitrix - pre unification Germany vintage), and 2 Model Power 6 axel units that I think I'll re-equip the way I did the smooth side lightweight yesterday. That car incidentally runs very well behind the Kato RDC.
So the next LHS order is for 2 sets of Micro-trains 4 axel passenger trucks. All the CN cars have Rapido couplers.
unca roggie Bet you didn't think that the DSN would find you with that package, but here's the spybot photo! ...LOL Glad it came in good order though! Our post office is hardly open on Sat., and as for delivery on a Saturday, that went out some time last century!
Eric:
Dad is in hospice,
Jerry: Wow! Sounds like you are going to have a big expansion to your Empire. That's great news!
CNCharlie: I paint the trunks a dark grey as trees around here don't have brown bark...I quite agree..in fact it's pretty hard to find a "Colouring book" brown tree trunk around here too. The lichen that covers the bark is grey, and the bark itself differs species to species, but is seldom an unvaried brown. As to I often think some layouts don't have enough trees so there'll be close to 50 I agree there too. There's close to 50 or so on this access hatch alone.

I often think some layouts don't have enough trees so there'll be close to 50
That's the density we see around here, and I'll get to planting more once I've solved the "how to cove the corners of the room seamlessly" puzzle. Can't plant more until the backdrop is retro-fitted and painted. Can't do that until I've coved the corners. I think I've figured how I'm going to do that...have to bite the bullet sometime.
Madsinger: Well done at the Speech Meet. What all is involved (For those of us who never met that before)
Sawyer: Reminds me of an Elvis song from the film King Creole. Has the line "I never looked for trouble, but I never ran....." The grammar and the tone drop off a bit after that, but let's say he stood his ground!
Had an un-expected visitor to the layout this afternoon. A neighbour of ours for whom Kris will be finishing the quilting on a Queen sized one she had put together, but can't quilt because of her fingers, brought the quilt over for Kris to work on. Since spreading it out to view involved using our bed, the route passed the train room door. So she saw the layout, and I was able to show her how it worked, with a simple run of an RDC out and back. She would have liked to have stayed longer, but her husband was outside in the car. I know this is true, not just "politeness", because he's a real old curmudgeon, never comes in to visit, and just sits and gripes if she goes anywhere and enjoys herself! No flurries yet, and it's bed time. So I guess we dodged that as well. Maybe they will come overnight.
Anyway, all, and God Bless. Prayers for all in need of healing, comfort and peace.
(From the look of the preview, this is probably going to blow the margins again. I checked the size of the photo before uploading to Photobucket, and it's about 840x620 pixels, so it's not that. I'll get back to Bergie about this. Oh, BTW, I told him I'd mention his thought that the size of the photos in people's signatures may be causing some of the margin shifting. And Kris tells me it's started to snow....)

FlashwavePackerSawyer, despite the fact violene is frowned upon in todays society; I think punching him would teach him a lesson. There was a groups kid that picked on me back in HS; kind of like the one you're describing. They picked a fight with me, and proceeded to get whooped pretty badly. Needless to say, they didn't mess with me after that. Personally, I've always favored the knee to *Just* below the belt. Does a fair job of making points without making much of a scar or dislodging teeth. But hen my build favors my legs and that's 6 years training to Brown belt though. You being football, may be different. (Had to use it twice in school, so far, to get/keep people off of me)

Yeah ya'll, it probably would.
I alos got picked on relentelessyly in fourth grade.
Kinda outgrew that. I tihnk everyone is too scared of what i'd do to them to mess w/ me.
Evenin’ everbody, Ya know, Pancakes and sausage sounds good tonight. And of course real maple syrup and a cup of coffee please and thank you.
Jim- of course Garry and all others suffering in the weather are in our prayers. And on our political front “I didn’t do anything wrong just let me prove it” and “ I did it before and they re-elected me so why are you so upset. They ( the people) don’t Care!”
Sawyer- congrats on the win.
Jeff- ROFLMAO on the black eye story.
John- isn’t it true. We get the most work out in the elbow. Not from lifting the bottle. But from taking glasses on and off!!
Eric- So sorry to hear the news of your Father in hospice. And your Mother in hospital. You and your family are in our prayers. Hang in there and take comfort in knowing, as all the forum members do, you are not alone through this . We are here to give you comfort and support. Along with a prayer chain from sea to shining sea.
How come every time I order something Jerry comes up with something I’d love to have? Congrats on the extra space Jerry!
MadSinger- Congrats to you too on your placement
There’s abit of the Strawberry Rhubarb pie being served up and I do believe I would like to have a piece before PC finds out it’s here.
Did a bit on the layout today. Painted the rest of the foam so I won’t have the peek throughs’ as much. Worked a bit on the mobile home and finished up (I think) on the outdoor restrooms. Soon as I get a road down I might get brave and post a picture of the pizza bait garage and the Post Office, bar and general store across the road.

Jim, the golden locomotive method means you set up all your engines to match one particular engine. In this case, it's my P2K GP9 with Sound/DCC beacuse I really like it's speed curve, since it tops out at a scale 80mph, and has enough slow speed control to be good for switching.

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....
2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

The history:
He suckered punched me back in third grade; right across the back. A few summers ago, we were palying a game, this kid was antagonizing me, I took off after him, the guy got in the way, i pushed him, then he came up to me and punched me in the left cheek and the left chest.
I was staring him down, and I think he saw it in my eyes that I wasn't gonna let this slide, if he hit me, I was gonna hit back. My parents aid they wouldn't have gotten mad at me if I had hit him.
Good Evening!
I'll have a French Dip Sandwhich with fries and a Coke Zoe. Layout tour was very nice.

Evenin' everybody!
I had a fun day today recording an All-County Festival. Always good to see some old colleagues and friends again. Although there seem to less people I know every year......... And more and more gone off to retirement like me. Awesome concert! Probably the best I have heard in several years.
blownout cylinderSo ---Chloe--I'll have a hot roast beef sandwich with gravy on the fries and coffee please---oh, and a piece of Strawberry--RhubarbPIE!!!-thanks
Barry that sounds like just the thing for a cold evening, so I'll have the same thing Chloe.
Took awhile to get through all the posts I missed today. Some stuff was downright shocking I might say!!!
Those of you up in Ontario, Canada, Western NY, and anywhere else for that matter that have been thinking about going to the Woodstock Turn (Niagara Frontier Region, NMRA Conference) best hurry up and register. So far registrations are only at half of what we need to hold the event. More info is available here: Woodstock Turn Looks to be a great convention!
Have some stuff I better get done (equipment to put away). Catch you all later!
Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO
We'll get there sooner or later!
Good evening ---- BIL had to leave earlier than expected--lab where he works called his home and called him into work tomorrow--so we are now going to have a quiet evening before I get ready to go off on Monday to Woodstock. But before he left we went to walmart to pick up some more 'Construction Mini's' and do some photo related stuff--found a couple of old buildings up for sale---he's looking for some fixer uppers for a reno business he has with another buddy---
Todd--I have gotten to the point where I can honestly say that like a certain Planaria --flat worm--after one gets zapped too many times one can almost sort of put up with the zing one gets in life. Or could that just be wire shock--a form of shell shock----hmmmn
So ---Chloe--I'll have a hot roast beef sandwich with gravy on the fries and coffee please---oh, and a piece of Strawberry--RhubarbPIE!!!-thanks
Well, Hello, everybody.
I am back from the Speech Meet, I placed 5th out of 36 in my division, so that makes me happy. Going to go install those signs floating around on the forums on my layout.

Good Afternoon Diners!
We're having a heat wave here in Winterpeg this afternoon--its +2C!! That's about 35F for those on the "old" scale. Mind you good things often don't last long as temp is supposed to drop to -15C by tomorrow afternoon. Sure is windy though, gusting to 80kph or close to 50 mph.
Was out to the LHS today to pick up a car I'd ordered. Its a Citroen DS19. My wife said I needed a French car in honour of our recent trip to Paree. Those Busch cars are nice but they sure are expensive. That little Citroen was 19 bucks. I also got some of those stick on weights as the Red Caboose tank car kit didn't include a weight. I'm putting together some WS trees as I just don't have enough. I paint the trunks a dark grey as trees around here don't have brown bark. I often think some layouts don't have enough trees so there'll be close to 50 on my little 4x8 when I'm done.
Tonight we're off for dinner at Chef's restaurant and I'm really looking forward to that.
See you soon,
CN Charlie
JimRCGMOJeff - I like your new locos - Onion Specific colors do look sharp! And good to hear the shipping company is taking a more direct route (of course, y'know they could go from Mississippi to Albany(NY), then KC, then to you....) I guess by now you have that turnout installed and are test-running trains on that stretch of track, right?
Afternoon all...Its sunny and 31 here....I'll have a pork burger, onion rings and a diet coke please..Thank You...My son and his Girl friend got alot done this morning got layout, computer and work table placed with room for Hospital bed Looks like I will have room for about triple the size of the layout now!!Now we have to see if we can scrape up some used track gonna use regular Atlas track....Its always exciting to look at space that can be used for layout...You all have a good one...Jerry
Hi, Folks. Coming to you from the remote hiterlands of Morris County NJ. 5th richest county in the nation. The area where Bell Labs invented the transistor, etc. Why can't I get a signal for my wireless card on my laptop? There are more cell towers than trees here now.
Oh well, mom's dial up still works, copper lines and all.
Picked up some micro train trucks to convert my grain cars if I ever get backhome!
Dad is in hospice, Mom back in hospital after 1 week home. It's going to be a long year...
Looking forward to some chocolate cheese cake soon!
I'll try and check in later, need to use the house phone, only one line

{singing...} {sort of} God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay...the Walthers box to Roggie's house, did finally make its way.
So, I will break out the eggnog (well, okay, a glass of 1% milk) and sit on the floor and tear open the package, soon, humming Christmas carols. (Soon being when my arthritis lets up a bit--if I got down on the floor right now, we'd need a crane to back into the house to get me back up.)
I hate the thought of mail delivery on Saturdays being scrapped, at times like this.
Good afternoon Diners: It's been clouding up all day in preparation for some flurries, but nothing major. I'll have a green tea and a 25 second nuked Lassy Mog please Chloe.
A big to all our new patrons. If you haven't already, please tell us more about your mrr or railfan hopes, plans, triumphs etc. Hope you enjoy it here.
A somewhat frustrating gremlin hunt last night. I've three Rivarrosi heavywheight coaches. The ATSF St. Croix Pullman and the SF Café-Observation which won't run in reverse through my #5 (Peco short) turnouts in a crossover in the passenger yard. Dramatic lay-on-your-side derail every time guaranteed! So, the third coach is between them, and all is peace.
However, there is one spot on the layout where that 3rd coach itself consistently derails. All other traffic goes through with no problems. It's on a wide curve, but the track gauge shows no abnormalities. Is it the trucks on the coach? One is Kaydee (this is N, so vintage pre split to Micro-Trains), the other Atlas. Both 3 axel. I've a "spare" lightweight smooth side coach with 3 axel Kaydee trucks. Swap those out for the Atlas. Also take the opportunity to increase the coupler shank length while I'm at it. (The "spare" coach I want to run behind one of my RDCs so I've now equipped it with some 2 axel trucks and it looks much more at home!)
Run the 3rd coach with the Kadees through the spot...should be as good as new, right? Oh how little we know of this particular gremlin. Derail, just as before. Swap out all wheels for new ones...that should do it...No!
So I park the offending coach behind the station at Danielsburgh (in my TimeSaver) and couple up the newly trucked lightweight to run the train around to the passenger terminal, which it does flawlessly.
"Mention" the problem to Kris who immediately says "Well obviously it must be a balance problem". So, I'll investigate that, although I've not noticed any marked list to either port or starboard on this coach. May be worth a closer look, and a tweaking of the bolsters. Any ideas? I'm at a loss, and I need that 3rd coach in the train.
When I first started running this car I added some weight in the form of a solder bar wedged in a channel in the underframe, but haven't added more than that up to today. Perhaps it needs to be really heavy? My probably inaccurate snail mail scale shows it at 25 grams, or a whisker over 1 oz. So we may have a clue, because at 6 inches, the NMRA RP 20.1 chart shows for N scale it should be ½ oz + (6x 0.15) oz = 1.4 oz.Looks like I need to add some more.
Been there, done that...another solder bar wedged between the seats. Not the answer...yet. I'll try yet more weight, there's space in the roof. (Good thing the contractors left that coil of solder in the basement when they did the reno back inn 1997!)
I also wondered if the fault was a result of using a long shank coupler on the loco, combined with the extended coupler position on the coach. Turned the loco, which has a shorter coupler in the front. Same result! So it's not just that, either.
Later....Coach now is up to about 2ozs. Still same result...trailing truck (it doesn't matter if the car is turned end for end, to present a different truck) always derails at the same spot on the curve when pulled or pushed Eastbound through the curve. West bound there is no problem pulled or pushed. Turning the loco end for end to use a different length coupler shank makes no difference either.
Now I'm working on the bolsters of that coach. They are sloppy, and the car does tilt a wee bit. So I'm going to make a plastic bolster stabilizer thing to take up the slack a bit. The bolter pin is a machined and chromed screw with two steps Rivarossi used back then. It's for that car, but when fully tightened there is a visible length of shaft (from the smaller diameter of the two-steps) between the car and the truck. I can't achieve the "one truck slightly tight" recommended assembly. I'll let you know if it works. Who knows, Kris was probably right all along. We get too soon old, and too late smart!
CapeJim:
It was somewhat warmer today, but will reach the 40's (F) tomorrow, so more will really be melting then.
Vincent:
I'm using the golden loco method so that way I'll be able to run any all of my engines together, just not all at once.

The above quoted piece by Roggie reminds me of a certain grump I know at work who cannot stand me or this other fellow. If either one of us mentions anything about even one band we even saw--let alone anything else he would have a bird on our heads about it---LOL!!! It got to the point that one time I came in with a photo of Neil Peart and I standing by a bike he had at one time--and the guy just flipped--saying it was digitized--it was all a lie--blah blah blah
Lee: A while back you mentioned, on the subject of seeing small objects in N scale, the need for not only magnification, but lots of light. Oh yes indeey! Couldn't agree more. I've a small clip on light that I take around the layout and clip to the bottom edge of the facia, or clip to the work bench, where-ever it's needed, which is just about everywhere these days! So now to seethe trains run I need my distance glasses, and to work at anything I'm reaching for the reading glasses and that light. Isn't life fun?
Sawyer: Great game! I bet you guys feel better about it all now.
TTFN.
Afternoon, just a quick stop, so an irish coffee ta go please Janie.
Been trying to call GARRY, but no luck so far,, so his power must out be still. Hope Him n Shelly aren't stuck on the hill still. I don't have Gus or Dan's numbers or I'd try them too.
Catch ya'll laters maybe
Good Morning Flo - Hey, can I have a late breakfast? Great! - I'll have the waffles special with maple syrup,
plus a glass of Ed's OJ,
and a JR regular in a ATSF mug, please 'n' thank you.
And how are my fellow bandwidth-wasters this afternoon? It seems to be a lively (should I say 'wired'...?) crew of Diners this morning. Flo said she's about worn out with those chocolate chip cookie orders.
Ray, I'd agree with MadSinger - I had trouble keeping everything in your days straight. No wonder you drink decaf; I'd hate to think of dealing with all those things after 4 or 5 cups of the 'leaded' coffee!
Todd (and anyone else wondering), last email I got from Garry was back on the 25th, and since then, I heard on our local news that in Kentucky they had about 240,000 without power. So he may be 'in the dark' (so to speak, depending on if he has a generator) but otherwise okay, just maybe can't get to the Diner just yet. Would definitely not hurt to keep him and the others in the iced-in areas in your prayers.
Speaking of which, when I got to my usual laundromat this morning, there were a whole lot more vehicles in the lot than usual, and the place was packed! Turns out a few dozen folks from Sikeston and other out-of-power towns south of Cape) had to come up here to do their laundry (guess why...). So laundry has been taking a tad longer than usual, due to having some wait times to get washers and dryers. One of those side issue things we forget about when the power goes out.
Jeff - I like your new locos - Onion Specific colors do look sharp! And good to hear the shipping company is taking a more direct route (of course, y'know they could go from Mississippi to Albany(NY), then KC, then to you....) I guess by now you have that turnout installed and are test-running trains on that stretch of track, right?
Vincent, can you explain the 'golden loco method' - so I can save it in a text file (for when I can afford to and DO get around to going to DCC)? Thanks!
Luke, hope it's a fun time (as well as educational) today on your train tour!
Sawyer, congrats on the goals (and the win)!
NS Joe, it looks like you've been making progress in several areas (no pun intended, of course).
For our electrician Diners, a quote for the day:
"That which does not kill me, makes me stronger." - Nietzche
Think I'll work on my 'late brunch' now...(as he edges toward the seat closest to the door)
Blessings and prayers,
Jim in Cape Girardeau
