I know how you feel Duncan. Last time I rail fanned on the CP I missed like 5 trains. One of them I could of easly ran back to the car and grabbed my camera. Sigh, owell. Atleast in the 3 trains I did get there was something good on it. (No pictures unless you guys want to see them.)

First the empire builder came through with a SD40-2 leading! At the end was an equaly great sight, 2 private coachs bound for Chicago!

DME 6070 rolls through town with a patched CP SD40! This was the main reason why I wanted to go there.

Another CP train comes down, but it had a leased SD90MAC on it. Maybe not as good as the other 2 things, but I'll take a lease engine over a CP ES44 or AC44.

Well, I missed another photo opertunity on Thursday. I was just going out to my truck to go to school when the track down the road started to rumble, so naturaly I did what any sane person would do: I stood there and watched it. More over to my point, at first it seemed like any other VIA rail train, but boy was I wrong. The equipment it was haulling was multiple bud cars (about 4 or 5) follwed by some very tired RDC. Seriously wishing I had a camera handy. Anyways, as modelling goes, well basicly it dosn't go. I've been working on my multiple indipentent studies. The only bad thing about graduating is if you take grade 12 university prep. classes, well at my school, the teachers all seem to like assigning ISs with about a month to go, and all due on about the same day. Well I'm going to go keep working on these ISs. Maybe I'll get some modelling done after exams are over.

Oh, Welcome to every one who's joined recently.

Hi guys, it's been awhile. WElcome to you guys who joined.

My uncle got hitched today.

I've reworked track to get the most out of it.

Industies include: a soda bottling co., a textile mill, printing co., furniture factory, machine shop, co-op transfer, cold storage, and auto plant (finished autos only. The auto plant and cold storage will share a backdrop and space I estimate to be 2-4 in. There will also be an interchange with the shortline Augusta & Southern (I might paint the GP-9 for it, or get a new loco). Thre interchange consists of a run-around and stub track.

Comments? Pics Tommorow.

I have done nothing modeling at all.

I'll just post a few more of my IMW drawings. I was working on some different "Past" paint schemes. 7622 is still in the old scheme. As you can tell from the new on the font on the numbers is different. Along with the "Illinois Minnesota and Western". The yellow is also lighter, and it has front and rear chevrons.

7606 has a darker yellow, but still far from the gold. The nose and end are also a solid yellow.

This is where we are today.

That about concludes it with IMW major schemes. There where different variations in Green color, yellow color. Some SD40/40-2s even has black trucks. (Still working on that one!)
