Well I finally picked up the parts I ordered last week today. I also order some more of the Cannon & Co Parts. Now it's time to chop the rest of the GP38 off, and to chop and combine the GP38-2 and SD45 frames. After that once the Cannon & Co Parts Arrive I'll attach them to the Stryene Base I need to make. Then I should have a pretty good start.

BUMP!

Next Week I am going to my all time favorite railfanning place, NORTHERN MINNESOTA!!!! SD40s, SD40-2s, SD40-3, Tunnel Motors, SD38s (Hopefuly), and F units (Hopefuly). What's not to love! All working hard to drag loaded ore trains at Track Speed.

On Sunday I had railfanning and model railroading collide pleasantly. A few of you might remember I kitbashed WSOR 702 not too long ago, and I haven't had the pleasure of seeing it personally. Sunday, there were about 20 engines down by the roundhouse, and 702 was one of them! Of course, it had to be stuffed in the middle of them all so I couldn't get any good pictures. :(

That's too bad...

I don't start until the 3rd of September.

But do you get more days off during the year I guess?

I still have to wait 6 more days for my paycheck and then prolly til that weekend to start benchwork cause school will have started. Just trying to live up the last few days of Summer....

That was kinda like me...Tongue [:P]...I had German One in my 8th Grade Year...this weird science program that fits 3 years of science into 2 years(8th grade and Freshman)...this High School English Class...and I SHOULD of been in Algebra 1, but nope...Sad [:(]...school starts for me in like 2 weeks, and I still haven't done half of the things I wanted to do this summer...Tongue [:P]

I have all my credits in for college. I just have to take the required courses (english, math, etc.) this year. And I am taking one elective. So I should be sailing by this senior year!

I'm just going into 8th grade because I missed the cutoff by one day!

Go me! If I was born on the 21st of this month, I'd be going to highschool.

That's just not the way it is, though. I was born on the 22nd.

Ok I'm going to post a vid of railfanning but so what? Tongue [:P] Mr. De Lery was saying in my last vid the SD40 wasn't working hard enough. Hope this one is hard enough...Tongue [:P]...wasn't exactly notch 8, more like notch 7, but who cares...right? Ok maybe it bothers me a bit...I'm so use to going from notch 6-7-8...so it's kinda weird when they went from 6-7-no 8...

I was quite the opposite. I ended up being the yongest person from K-12th grade. (I graduated when I was 17) I'm a sophmore in college now, and am only 18.

Also, girls like older guys. Might explain some of my bad luck. (in 12th grade I was younger than most of the 11th graders)

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Well looks like there may be steam on the Yreka Western after all this weekend. Which makes me happy and worried at the same time. I would tell you why, but that's some confidential stuff, sorry. I will get some pics for you guys!

Animal, that photo was definately getting some mixed feelings over at RP.

Sawyer, that looks good!

I always keep the sprews from my kits too. They are always handy for modeling piping, gutters, etc...

Thanks.

Hi, I am currently building a freelanced 4x8 layout in my bedroom. It is dedicated to my grandmother, who bought me my first train set. It is loosely based on a small app mountain railway theme. I hope to have the main line down by the beginning of school.
