Reminds me of the time Brendan Morrison of the Vancouver Canucks got six teeth knocked out and didn't miss a shift.
Then there is baseball, they have to run for cover when it starts raining. They should try pond hockey in a blizzard.

If I could get some pre-kindergarten toddlers to take over and run both our countries teaming up with the pillow guy.

I never lost a tooth but I did get a stick across the chops that shall we say displaced several teeth. I needed braces to correct the situation and to this day I feel bad for having placed that expense on my parents. No dental coverage back in those days. I remember lots of blood but it did not slow me down.
All the years I coached, they were the toughest bunch of kids you could ever meet.
Someone should tell these kids they are on the same team!

Oddly, the cats, Snowflake and Whiskey after their coloration, were also watching the TV with interest. They usually sleep, but they will watch wildlife programs.

MisterBeasley Brent, tonight we watched the start of a wildlife documentary about Vancouver Island. Great wildlfe photography of eagles, otters, sea lions, orcas and wolves. Oddly, the cats, Snowflake and Whiskey after their coloration, were also watching the TV with interest. They usually sleep, but they will watch wildlife programs.
We have lots of friends and family that live on Vancouver Island. On Monday a good friend lost a couple of lambs to a cougar that are plentiful there.
My cousin lives on the ocean and goes out most days in an outrigger canoe. Over the years she has had many close-up visits from Orca and more recently a Humpback whale. She posts these regularly on her FB page and I am so envious. She and her husband recently accompanied a deer that was swimming from Salt Spring Island to Vancouver Island a 3km swim so it would not get hit by a boat.
I have spent a copious amounts of time over the years sailing and fishing these waters, it's what you do when you live here. We have had Orca come right up to the boat when out fishing and have even given them a rub on the snout.
My wife and I hope to move to the island but life has been getting in the way.

In North America, it is a very small book indeed.
I used to watch Wide World Of Sports most weekends. There are some very tough sports elsewhere. I miss that show. North American professional athletics barely interest me at all. I watch the SuperBowl every year, and that is about it.

How about a recent picture that fits that description? We went to a Fifties party at our swim and tennis club. I wore a T-shirt with a pack of cigarettes and literally about a half a tube of Brylcream. It was easier to dispose of the cigarette pack than it was to rinse the Brylcream from my hair.
Anyway, this was so long ago that i had a film camera I took pictures with. When i got them back a week later, I asked "Who is this guy?"
Right. It was me.
No old pictures to dig up right now as I don't even know where they are
After Charlie sending all that lovely early cold spell down from Ontario to Minnesota and Wisconsin that we thoroughly enjoyed It's working on getting up to 70° plus here by the weekend and not too shabby of a day today.
Judy wants to go over to Bush Lake for a picnic and we haven't had any red meat for a while as you know it's not too healthy or good for you......
So we're going to stop by Cub after she gets done with laundry and pick up a couple of Montreal burgers. Those things are good and I don't know if it's a Canadian thing or not but I hope nobody ever ruins that for me eh!
There was never a McDonald's in International Falls when I lived there and we would go across the border to Fort Francis and have a quarter pounder with cheese or two.
From what I had heard, the Canadians were more strict about the quality of beef and those burgers were better than any other McDonald's down here...Ever!
So I'm going to make my own premium quarter pounders with cheese at Bush Lake today over the Kingsford for me and my Judy......

Good afternoon, everyone.
I have some pictures of me from 65 years ago. My jeans were pulled up to my neck and I had my normal summer haircut -- my mother cut my hair to about one millimeter in length.
There's a reason why I grew my hair long in college.
I'm working on one of the layout's bridges. I was a little sorry that my out-of-town company had to see my layout in such a sad state. The trouble is it will be that way for a long time since this bridge will take what will seem like months to build.
Fall colors -- our two large maple trees in the front yard are finally turning bright orange. They are usually done by this time.

We spent yesterday talking to the kids and looking into flights, we thought we would take our daughter, son, and his GF as well. Everyone is game to go if we can make it work.
One of the islands they visit only has 61 residents and had/has a railroad.

So, even as a little cub, I liked my cats. I do not know who this cat is, we never owned animals.
We always dressed up for church. I guess that is what you did back in the 50s or 60s or maybe that is only a Presbyterian thing.
