Good afternoon everyone. I'll just take a cheeseburger and fries with a milkshake again, Flo.

On the issue of moving the dinner, how about down closer to my neck of the woods, like to Folkston, Georgia? (Folkston is a good 3 hour drive for me)

Just a consideration.

Afternoon all. Chloe, I'll take a bacon cheeseburger and a Mountain Dew Code Red, thanks.

Well, I typed up a nice long post last night, only to find out now that I forgot to hit "Post" before closing the window! So now it's all gone!
::sigh::

Longest. Day. Ever. Absolutely endless. And PSAT class eighth period was horrible. That woman does not even know what she's doing. I hate her with an endless passion.

I don't have too much homework today (shocker!), so I'll be at the RC catching up.

OK .. Where's teh dienr going this time.

North East Coast Modeler of Florida suggested Georgia. .. Sounds good, but perhaps it would be better when its cold in the north. ..

Looks like Ray is willing to host in Upsate New York at his museum. He's expected to provide a local wine list according to one recent post by Tom of Pittsburgh.

I don't know if Duke will have the Berkshire.

Meanwhile, I have a special train ready. If Duke is not available, we can add the diner to it.  My special train is a surprise,  and it will be posted soon. Ray, I suggest you notify the museum about this special train, too. Trust me, it's appropriate. Cameras ready?

We might be able to use Southern's 401 if Duke's not around

Afternoon from the sunny Finger Lakes........  Yeah Right!  It is pouring outside at the moment.  And I have to go out to a Cub Pack School Night in a couple hours.

Zoe I need a cup of hot chocolate please.  I'll be sitting at the rivet counter.

Well lets see...  I think this would be the best month to have the diner up in NYS.  The Fall colors here will be spectacular this year and the weather is still warm enough to be out and about with only a light jacket. Here is a photo from last year out at the Boy scout Camp:

The museums are operating diesel trains every Sunday for the Fall Foliage runs.  You don't want to miss out....  Besides they cleared off track 4 for us as a special favor.....  Might not be so accommodating again.   Georgia seems to me to be a great place to visit maybe November or December when it starts getting sn@wey outside here in the Finger Lakes.  We'll need a bit less wood for the stove THAT way.  I'll let you guys and Duke decide how to get her here.  (Personally I do like a steamer for the move......)  Besides I just ordered wine from here.

Got a bit more done on the module for the Merit Award.  Photos maybe later tonight.  Good day to stay inside and get some things like the wash done. We have had a little over an inch of rain today and expect another 1/2" to 1" before it clears.  We have now been put under a Flood Warning for small streams.

Later!

We'll get there sooner or later!

Good afternoon gents, only 0.03" of rain thus far, we put up a block in the atmosphere at interstate 91 so Ray will get all the rain in NY ( sorry Ray ) Our turn comes tomorrow Ray, fear not.

I'll have the sliced ham, home fries, carrots, salad, and green tea Cloe, thank you.

Happy to report that by sciatic nerve injury is much better, so some model RR work is underway once again. My oldest son was a huge help for 5 weeks this summer when I could barely walk, he took care of all the yard and garden work and many other projects as well.

Did anyone tell Duke about the big sales going on for Berkshire locomotives?

Ahh, supper is ready, have a great evening guys,

Dick If you do what you always did, you'll get what you always got!! Learn from the mistakes of others, trust me........you can't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself, I tried !!  Boy I hate to see the Dinner being moved from the Hoosier StateCrying Till the dinner got here, I had not been back to Indiana for 12 years.

Flo, something lite tonight. Have not felt good today. Guess I will have a Salad with diced Chicken Knockers and Blue Cheese dressing and a glass of water.

I am surprised by the fact I cut the front yard, dragged out a load of limbs from the backyard. Then I got the backyard cut as well.

Did play with the trains today, while resting in between cutting and dragging stuff. Been chasing my SW 8 switcher around the layout with my RSD 15. Big Smile Kept creeping up on the switcher and Blasting my horn at them to speed up! Laugh Of that little switcher was not broken in before, it is now!

 Hope the Dinner has GPS!

Evening all.

I see we've been contemplating where to put the diner. Upstate NY sounds great!

I'll be in the back booth trying to get ahead on some homework if anyone wants to join me.

ns3010 Best of luck. Hope you got good teachers that don't assign homework on the weekends.

Just got off the cell phone with my mom. She needed some sort of a log in thing. Ask no questions, be told no lies right? I was screaming things into the blasted thing then was told to text her the code she needed. Now the texting on my cell ain't workin'. Worked this morning when I got to school. I was yelling so loud into my cell that my dad yelled at me to keep it down then he got on the soapbox about my mom helping this woman. Man I hate my cell phone. I'm about ready to use the thing as a wheel chock on my dad's snowmobile trailer and then pull forward. C-R-U-N-C-H. Then get a stinking CB in my Jeep. My one riding buddy has one in his lifted Blazer.
