I just couldn't get my head around calculus...I need to be able to visualize, and there seemed no way to do that with "intergration" and "differentiation"; those words have meanings that just didn't seem to apply. I gave up.

Today, besides being "All Saints Day" is also "Stir up Sunday" (from an Anglican prayer for the 22nd Sunday after Pentecost) - traditionally the day to make Christmas pudding and cake. So Kris made our Christmas Pudding today. Very good it looks too. Now we wait for it to mature and all those flavours to blend. Dinner

If there are any crab and salmon enchiladas left, I'll have those with an Olands please.  I've scanned Hans' article from a 2006 edition of LOKI. For those who'd like to see some fine Swiss scratchbuilding in 1:45 scale there's an album that shouldn't need a password. Enjoy. RT may especially appreciate this. I've tried the link myself, and might suggest copying each image for viewing in a larger format, especially if you want to read the text (which is in German).

The same issue had a drawing WHICH shows that cats and layouts have an affinity WHICH is international!

I'll go to the back booth and see if Duke can wake up long enough to negotiate the move when the switcher comes. I'll likely not be back in until the new siding has been chosen; so please leave the customary trail of breadcrumbs.

Goodnight all, and God Bless. Prayers for all in need of healing, comfort, prosperity and peace.Angel

der,

How is your layout doing?  For a while there you were working like a crazy man.  Are you still doing the trees made from local weeds?

Evening all,

Sue what kind of wreaths will you guys make at your party?

I finished all my chores for the weekend, maybe this week I can do some MRR stuff.  The diner I’m building is going slowly, but I did all the interior stuff first and now assembling the walls.  I need to make a few more pictures for the walls before I install the front of the diner. Those Athearn 1949 Mack B fire trucks I picked up yesterday are very nice; I was surprised at the detail.

Jeff, how much water do you have now?

Evening all, just stopping in before crashing for the night.  I hear Q650 sitting down at the interchange dropping cars for the COEH to pickup tomorrow, so I might go and see what got dropped off tomorrow morning before the local boys come pickup.  I'll just have another RBF.

Yes, Jim, I've been driving down every bump available for Amy.  She's doing all right, just extremely miserable and ready to get this over with.  We go to the doctor's tomorrow and if she has to she's going to ask to be induced, so I may or may not be able to get on here for a few days, but I definitely will be on at my first possible moment.

Well all, that's about it for me this evening, so I think I'm off to bed...

Hopefully someone's post will kick this thing on to page 50 and the switcher will be around to change our position in the yard.

I'm starting to think that maybe any new diner might as well get a large lined "Pie Fight Room" attached to it---think about it--cleanup will just be a quick hosing down job----Approve

Oh well. It is getting late---so's I be heading off to get some Zzz

Have a good night----Big Smile

 Good Morning,

Chloe, Flo and Zoe - just a quick coffee - we have to get prepared for the switcher - it´ll be only a moment, before we have to move on.

Well, then let´s go about it!

Here it is, at the new track!

Morning All;   for me its 0840, and I don't git up this early!!! Dinn't go to Pltd. for TOYS,used this silly machine, got what I needed and cheaper, when you consider the cost of gas, my time and the hassle of driving with all those crazy Snow Birds heading south down 101.and 30. Very crazy....Ordered a 4-6-2 brass oriental used good price, got some stuff from Rusty Stumps "beautiful" castings, I have never seen such good work most going in engine house. Had to order track and switches code 83,now i'llhave to use pushrods, no more  [JR is walking all over the keys I guess he wants to eat again can't go out too nasty and he will get wet] elec. switch machines toooo expensive. Would one of those beautifull young laddies please get me a piece of Key Lime pie over there and a cup of coffee with choc.  ....thank you..Micro-Mark had a special sale and I fell for it a small table saw for all the cutting of strip wood..I'v wanted one for a long time and they knocked it down about 25bucks......Well I blew all my allowence for this month..but freezers full, butts I make myself, bills are paid, got enough food for cats and I'm pretty happy...OH I almost forgot I've got you'all to talk to and listen too........Sunset BeachLogging, signing off.  God Bless.............................chuck
