You can take photos of buildings for your backdrop & add signs to them.

Most signs are pre-1970 as that is the era I model, but many of these signs survive in rural & small towns beyound this time frame. Feel free to use these signs on your buildings & layouts. Also can you post some photographs to share so others can see how best to use these signs.

Hello tomkat-13,

I am looking for small narrow signs for dry cleaning or laundry type services.  Have enjoyed looking at all of the posts you have submitted to this topic, but haven't seemed to locate any.  Do you know where I can find some?

Thanks!

Mark

I hope these aren't duplicates but this is my contribution. If anyone wants a higher resolution of any of these posters, let me know and I'll post a larger one. Thanks for maintaining this thread, Tomkat!

Happy Modeling! Ed

Love the signs, but gotta ask how ya'll get that level of sharpness in the printed images.  When I bring them over, they lose a lot of detail when printed at scale size.  Thanks for the signs.

I'm in the planning stage for my Junk yard section of my layout & will be using many signs. I used some on this old Shell Gas truck that will be in the junk yard.

I save them as .bmp files and change the size /contrast etc as needed in MS Picture manager , or change in MS Paint ( both those programs come with MS Windows)
