Went to Target in Lake Worth FL today(nov. 27 '07)and saw they have Lionel train sets at a regular Target store this year, last year it was only at Target Super stores. They have both the diesel and the steam locomotives sets and track add-on packs for Fastrac, four straights and four curves, also a whistle and train hat set, did not see any prices!!
Also got my CTT mag on saturday, Jan. 08 issue.
Been busy with Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Just got back from my annual civic responsibilities - jury duty. When the criminals found out I was in the potential jury pool, they all pleaded out and we got to come home at 10:30 am.
Another beautiful day here. High will be 65, bright and sunny
Chief, my mom spent about 5 years training the squirrels in the back yard of her house. Got to the point they would come and sit on her shoulder to get some treats. And yes- you should be wary of that antlers hat Buckeye sent you...
Have a great day all.
Regards, Roy

I am going to try to run it off track power. i think I am wrong in how I have attached the controller too. I downloaded the manual for the newest version of these switches. It says do not remove insulating track pins in the switch. Of course, my switch doesn't have any pins in it. Do you have any guesses about where I should put the insulating pin?
I'm guessing both inside pins of each turn. I think that is how both of my 0-27 switches are. Someone can chime in to correct me as I only messed with them for a little while.

Thanks Bob! Anyway, My ISP is Coastal Communications... Maybe a subsidary of Mebtel?
Well, I'm trying my hardest to get my benchwork started by this weekend. I'll try to post photos of the room soon too.

Contractors will be by later on to give an estimate on the hole in the wall from the stray panel truck. Fortunately, enough folks cared to keep things going, swept up the mess, and covered the wall. Maybe we can install a new drive thru window for those who don't wish to grab a stool. As for Grayson, just come in and sit next to me kid.

I appreciate that fife, and nice analogy or whatever they are called. HEY! What are you trying to do pulling that chair from under me? Trying to make me fall or something?
Good evening everyone,
It was an OK day here. We didn't get much school work so thats a good thing. I had my pre- physical for my surgery a few minutes ago, and all went well. I also got my flu shot and hepatitis (sp?) shot as well.
Well, my grandmom was hospitalized earlier because of pneumonia. Sadly, she has been there since 7AM, and finally got a room a 4:30PM. Also, my sister may have it now. Can you guys please say prayers for them? Also, I need prayers for a friend, whos grandfather passed away over the weekend. He had cancer a few years ago, and was lucky enough to get rid of it, but sadly, it came back even more malignant. They found it less than a month ago, and gave him 2 months to live. Thank you for all the prayers.
I'm not meaning to start anything, but Grayson, when (presently) has anyone called you Zeke or Dep?

Acutally, I PMed him during the mess that was going on about me but he never replied, then I PMed him about a different matter a week or two ago and then he said he would track it.
EDIT, Prayers for your grandma too.
Hi all . well that G gauge set I bought a week and a half ago went back today as I opened it up thanksgiving evening and no paperwork at all the dvd was missing (I know I don't really need all that but) and one piece of curve track was crimped) that was far enough to know I didn't want to go any father.
So I guess I'll just stick to O gauge where I belong.
Not to much happening here today wife and I went out and stopped in about 5 different stores and bought notta
Well talk to you all later

Well, I'm off to sleep. I just talked to my grandmom, and shes really not feeling any better, but how can you when you have pneumonia. I have been feeling horrible. The weather is causing my body to hurt. My knee is throbbing, my finger I broke a few years ago is hurting, and my back is really killing. I hope it goes away soon.
Have a good night everyone.

Colin, Prayers for your grandmother and sister. My wife had pneumonia last winter, which wasn't a lot of fun so this fall we both got pneumonia shots when we got our flu shots. Hope they work.
Grayson, I like having you young guys post. I have 3 teenage grandchildren, so if you don't mind hanging out with an old geezer like me, why should I object.
Oh, and I never had a problem with Deputy. He and I still exchange emails from time to time. We have some common interests such as CNJ and PRR.

I'll try.

Got home late after working then racing to relieve my wife and daughter to go do something or other (??) while I was watching son's basketball practice and then racing across town to get to a scout meeting. So then on the way home I asked if he had fun - nope, it was boring.... Ah - fatherhood!
God bless your grandma and all others Colin - may He put His healing hand on them and may they get the very best of care! Amen
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Thought I would just come in and say HELLO
HELLO !!!!
This is the best place for coffee, but had to much today!
Need to go get a beer, I've been out smarted by a Dummy light kit. Explain latter.
Reno - I really don't think it is fair to put Grayson in that pot, He was duped as much as the rest of us. And actually given his age, I could see where it could easily happen. I wouldn't have known any different at 14, and I was believing the story at more than 4x older. Grayson may get annoying at times. But he does know a lot about trains! None of us is perfect, give him a chance, or atleast consider it. NO OFFENSE INTENDED !!

No offense taken. However I will not join a forum where that person is treated as an equal, friend and a trustworthy person. I didn't bring it up I was invited to take a look and did not like what I saw. Others can make ther own opinion and if I wasn't invited to join or visit I would not have brought any of it up. I can't be friends with anyone who finds joys in taking advantage of people and continues to do so.
At this point I wished I never saw the invite to visit that forum.
Sorry, misunderstood. I wasn't inferring you should join another forum. There are all ready more than enough.
I Just enjoy all the information flow.
I could have sworn that there was a rule about not promoting other forums on the CTT forum. I was politely asked to remove the links in my sig line a while ago which were linked to a thread on another forum, which I did.
So why do we have open invites to join other forums on this forum?

There's a new Ferarri in my garage?
Trust me, I would have to have a very long list of wishes for something on a train forum to be on the list.
