Hey Jumijo,

I am not loosing any sleep over the Patriots or the Redskins or the Dolphins football teams.  About two years ago Miami handed the Patriots a loss on their last regular season game and cost the Patriots home field advantage in the super bowl.  Miami is not doing good again this year but they can be an upset team at times, just when you think that your team won the game Miami will score and win the game which is what happened to your Patriots about two years ago.  Personally I would like to see the Patriots win another super bowl but can we give somebody else a chance?

Best way to repair the wheel on your H.O. F7 is to replace it with a new one.  I have tried a few repairs on wheels in S gauge with only minor success, used Squadron Green putty to add to the wheel flange and shaped it before it dried completely, I know that this is a poor man's fix but I was willing to try almost anything as A.F. parts are extremely hard to come by, also when ordering replacement parts you don't get what you want but what the parts place wants to sell.  I tried a place that was recommended by somebody on here and got only the wheels for A.F. no axles as I needed both the wheels and axles.  Still need eight sets of plastic wheels and axles for A.F.

No one should lose sleep worrying over a sport, Lee. And yes, we can give someone else a chance to win the Super Bowl. All they have to do is beat the Patriots.  Wink [;)]

Morning all!

Busy day today! Sunny and headed towards 78 today!

I start the Robotics class at the Elementary school today. I have 10 kids returning from last year - a record! The bad news is they are 6th graders (usually with attitude!).

Have a great day all!

Regards, Roy

Back from my lunchtime walk. It's a splendid day out there. Especially for the victory parade going on in Boston right now. Mild and clear. High near 60. And with that, I'll get back to watching the celebration.

Ya know, Brent...that's funny.

I've been contemplating getting rid of my tubular track.......Whistling [:-^]

Cloudy and rainy here again.  The wind and rain has really taken a toll on the Halloween display, so I'll have to fix it all tonight, run the fog/lights/music tests for tomorrows extravaganza.

And I still have to get candy for the little ghouls......Banged Head [banghead]

I guess Wally World is open 24/7......SoapBox [soapbox]

Later..

Doug - No transition pieces...

Rich - not going Tubular... Wink [;)]

I'm thinking of going Atlas-O as I really like the look of their track and I don't need roadbed on my X-Mas layout (would want to paint it white any way).

Since I have a LOT of FasTrack I may just take it all to the LHS and see about working a swap.  I know I have the following:

2 Remote Left O-36 Switches
2 Remote Right O-36 Switches
12 O-48 Curves
8 O-36 Curves
3 Terminal Straights
1 Operating Track
1 Accessory Track
1 2pk Lighted Bumpers
1 Elevated Trestle Set
2 Grade Crossings with Flashers

I know I have more O-36 curves and I don't know how many 1.75, 4.5, 5, and 10 inch straights.

I'll have a complete list tonight...

Good Afternoon from Blueberryhill....

Couldn't get into the Forum this morning....

It is a beautiful day today. 70 degrees. Sunny. Cold last night. Frost.

Just finished mowing back yard. Sat outside for awhile. Might as well enjoy the weather while it still lasts. No trains today.

Chief...Glad to hear your dog is better today.

Everyone have a great day.

Brent--

Be sure and take a look at the GarGraves track also. Had I known my layout would end up being this big I would have chosen a different direction but I'm at the point of no return. You are wise to sell what you have at this time, you won't be sorry.

up an down trains-in the U.K. trains and tracks heading in the general direction of London are refered to as up trains or tracks. Down would be trains or tracks heading in the general direction away from London.

corridor coach- a passenger coach with a corridor the lenght of the coach, usually having a connection to the adjacent coaches. Non-corridor coaches have no coridors and usually have two sections to a coach and door between each set of seats. These multple doors allow quick loading and unloading of passengers particually desiable in commuter service.

shunting across the road-shunting  is  switching  but I don't know  what  across refers to.

Evening all.  Went by Miss Edna's.  Got a Thomas set for Carter.  We are actually giving him his Lifetime Sportsman's License for Christmas.  That is the all the hunting and fishing license he will need for lifetime.  The Lionel Big Boys have not come in yet.

Just finished watching two Charlie Brown shows.  Sure is a striking resemblance of Charlie Brown and Fife.

Brutus, seen that person before.  Lives in MA and posts on this forum.

Cold again tonight.  Meetings for the Town tomorrow.

Peek doing a lot better tonight.

Later.

Good evening everyone.  Hope all is well.  Just tried to catch up with all the past posting, but it is an insurmountable task I am afraid.  Got a bit crazy today with work, but did get to daughter's ballet class in time to gather the family and head out to dinner.  It was nice getting together with the family as it has been so busy between work and the movie, I get too few chances to just relax and enjoy.

Chief, I'll send you a email, better take care of yourself.  I don't think we can hold the line against the yankee horde if you are out of commission.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great night.

Dennis

PS: Buckeye, thanks for the kind thoughts.  Been real busy, but will try to post when I can.  Also, got to sample some "Buckeyes" as sold by Cracker Barrel", they are good, but not good for you.

EVENING ALL

Brutus you promised not to post that picture.  But at least you used someone elses name.

Stomach feels like I drank battery acid, had evening meal at local coney island. Same thing happens with White Castles but sometimes it just seems right and you know what the result will be but, one must sometimes.

Started gathering for sundays show but I don't want everything out all week so I will add a little each day. Hope sales are good want more train money.     See you in the morning, nitey nite.  Sir james

I have looked at Gargraves with wooden ties, Gargraves with plastic ties, Atlas-O, FasTrack, Tubular, SuperO, etc.  I really like the look of the Atlas-O track and I just picked some up at York.  The plan is to test it out on the X-Mas layout and see how I like it, if it works out I'll use it on the main layout, if I don't then I have no idea what I'll do... probably Gargraves with wooden ties and Ross Switches... but that will nearly triple the cost of the track...

Thanks for the advice though.  It is greatly appreciated.  One thing I like about my LHS is they carry all the major track, so I can see it all first hand - and touch it. Smile [:)]
