Hi GIZ,
Just got done watchin the SOPRANOs. Great TRAIN SHOP scene but or " LOCO HOMO" got taken out. Yes BIG BOBBY is gone. they shot him about 8 times landed on the layout and looked like a NYC Hudson crashed right on top of him. RIP BOBBY. Pretty good show though.
heres a link to the shop....be sure to check out the store front pics...one thing that isnt in the pics that is there is a broken down couch in front of them big garage doors....but cant judge....

Good evening all,
Just a quick note to let you know I had a relatively quiet weekend. Did watch the IRL race where Team Green won again. The only consolation was that the "Evil Empire" had a best finish of ninth. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana

In my life experience if something don't feel right it probably isn't but I am not there so I am not a very good judge.
A hobby shop in my area who I will not name is a very friendly and helpful but the Messyness and unorginization of the place is kind of a turn off. I have just gotten used to the mess and found they have just about anything you want but you have to sort thru it.

Unfortunately, word of mouth is the best method. If you don't know anybody to ask locally, check back here. I am sure that some folks have experience having MTH engines repaired.
With "Deadliest Catch" one episode was of a guy falling off another boat and one of the ships from the show saving the guy. One can only imagine the emotion of saving someone from certain death, unless you've been there. We had it in the FD, and some have had it in other fields. Have had it in surgery, but that is by far a more controlled situation.
Hoping to get a good start to the week with yard work and get the main lines run for the layout wiring. Will be time for making a control panel and scenery soon.
Have a great night.

DENNIS, I agree what a way to make a living. Love the show. A friend of mine we play HS football together worked on a boat up there a few years saved up money and ran his own boat fished for salmon and did a little crabbing there. He loved it now is retired at 51 still lives there. Had to pay $150,000 for his license back in the 80s.

Funny part was that his wife was with him and she kept urging him to buy more. He better hang onto her! Those sets sure were nice, no doubt about it. I'll have to ask Mike to let me know when the next batch arrives, so I get the inside track. I normally stop in once a week but hadn't been in for a couple of weeks so it was just luck.I didn't buy any as I have a self imposed rule about only buying 5 road names for engines and cabooses. Also don't buy anything of a prototype newer than 1959. This helps me to not spend quite all my money on trains.

JON let me know when he gets the next shipment? Probably won't be down till JULY? Sooner if the shipment comes in.
NICE work RT.
Heres my find and BARRYs TRAIN SHOP yesterday
Its a K-LINE uncataloged EIRE F3 ABA dual motors in each A unit, all units have smoke and 5 Heavy Weights all for the unheard of price of $422 out the door. He had 31 sets as of Thursday and I got number 30. I was lucky.
I believe I've shown you all the progress of my trainroom about a month ago I got the walls done ( Pic 1)
Well this morning got the white klitz painted on the walls (pic 2)
Well this afternoon this is the final coat being put on (pic 3) its called edge blue
By the way all 3 pics taken from the same corner it was the worst corner. in the first pic you can see the mold that I washed with bleach water what you acually see is the stain from it after drying for about a month painted back of boards and then put them up in the room and then painted them today. Looking real good so far.
Cloudy in Arnold and yet no rain so far. Worked yesterday and mostly resting up today. Need to get up and do something, maybe in a little while
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Jon
So many roads, so little time.
Good afternoon guys,
Going to hold my happy birthday for the Chief until the big day tomorrow.
Nice to see pictures of our English brethern. I assume Nick is the tall one. John and I appear to be built pretty much the same.
At the show yesterday I ran across a vender called Model Stone Works. They make model stone arch bridges, great looking products. Wish I had a place to use one. Anyone planning a layout (Brent) may want to take a look at them. Although they are designated for HO the owner told me that he sells quite a few to O gaugers. Since they are modeled on PRR prototypes, and since the PRR used very large stone blocks, they look pretty good in O gauge for any other prototype. He said you can run double track O gauge on the four track HO bridge and single or double track on the 2 track HO bridges. Here are a couple of pics I took of his display.

Take care all,
Hi all, First Chief.
Got back from the Ilkley show this afternoon. Met up with John B for the UK CTT forum meet
John was able to run his Docksider for the first time. Here she is moving a milk car.
Had a great time at the show, nice to meet you John.
Nick
P.S. I will post some more show pics under its own thread.
This is cool - videos of Ward Kimball on the old Tom Synder Tomorrow show

There is a series that should show up when you go the the first one.
