Good morning all,

Everybody must have been outside last night like me.  Finished edging and trimming.  Yard looks nice for once.   Lousy weather today and the weekend.  Figures as this would have been the GP of Indy weekend.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good afternoon all,

Beautiful day outside.  Hope to do more yardwork tonight.  Busier day than expected at work.  Should be quiet tomorrow.  Knocked down last of large honey suckle plants last night.  Hopefully I can keep them down.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

My son recorded the Blue Angels as they flew over one of the big hospitals about 5 miles from our house. Moments after his video they flew close enough to our house to get a good view from the back yard. From our area they headed to for downtown Dallas where they circled the city and then on to what we call the "mid-cities" and then Ft Worth.

They are doing a cross country salute to the first responders dealing with the pandemic. They were up in Anj's neighborhood a few days ago.

Congratulations to your grandson, that is one BIG turkey!

I hope the fryer's big enough to handle it!

PS:  Tell him not to drop that camouflaged shotgun in the high grass, he'll never find it!

Hello there,

roof replacement is going slow. They told me 3 days, they've been at it 2 days and are less than half done. Onle 2 of 4 sides of the high roof plus both porches  to do. Remove the old metal is slow, a lot of the nails were to long and bent over. No work today due to rain.

Grandson got this yesterday.

turkey

His smile says it all . 22 lb 13 oz ,

I hate the goverment here with a burning passion but the city of LA during this coronavirus time has a program to provide meals for senors because were the most venerable and not suppose to go out.

I applied on line and got a email saying I was denied, I lied on my income and figured they said I made too much and also I am able to go to the store.

Yesterday ther was a big box over my fence with 5 dinners. A bowl of rice, corn, carrots, probably more it's real good and healthy. Also a carton of milk, bottle of water, and a orange, 5 of each.

1st time I have ever had any benefit

Great.  They should keep it up.

Morning folks!

Sunny and 70's today. Blue Angels flyover route shows over our house. They start around 11 am and then off for groceries.

DougM - All the Mothers Day items - card, flowers, steaks (son will grill) - CHECK!

Did final corrections/warranty repairs on the big layout with all the electronics. We found that the wall wart that powers the Lionel LCS data lines (PDI) cannot power all the modules on this layout. Addition of the LCS WiFi module to the existing 12 ASC2s, 4 BPC2s, and the SER2 was the straw that broke the proverbial camels back. The WiFi module draws a lotta juice - so cut the 12 VDC 1 Amp wall wart loose and spliced in a 12 VDC 2 Amp P/S and all is well. We are having to put the TMCC1/TMCC2 BPC2 protocol issue aside for now as no one has the info. Validated with those in the know that Lionel shop/warehouse is indeed completely closed up except for a handful of folks working remotely. Thus we cannot see about signing an agreement to access the protocol. That also means my parts order will hang in their cloud until some time in the future when NC allows non-essential businesses to open.

Got through another big box of photos - this is tedious...one big box of kids school portrait photos to go through and about 5 shoeboxes of photos from prior to our marriage...that will be interesting!

Flintlock - my evening nightcap is Pepto----

Lazy good morning. Rain? What rain. Guessers blew it. Level one for storms. Never came. Screwed up my afternoon. Even a producer friend with biggie station text that to me this AM. Actually in their defense, clouded up numerous times and would have two or three drops each time. Possible showers this afternoon about 5. Who knows.

Specialist says I'm now clear.  90 more days of special meds and then monitor off and on.  OH, my Dr.'s hubby who is a Dr. has had 19. Still recovering at home after hospitalization. She says he still can't breath good.

Now calling for 35 degrees for Sunday morning.  It would be an all time record low for that date. Snow in the mountains possible.  What the heck!

My favorite line I say is, "Hola, tingo camedias."

Later.

Oh thank goodness, the re-fries are gone and the Rolaids took their place!

Which reminds me, why doesn't anyone tell us that when you hit a certain age Rolaids and Tums become part of the food groups?  You know, like meat, dairy, green vegetables, and grains?

Sun and 50's today.

Too early and cool to plant the garden but it's nice to see the lawn services finally allowed to work. So nothing going on here, just thought I'd check in.

!Saludos Amigos! Mostly cloudy and 44 in the Alleghany front range.  Waiting for boss to call...

Did power wash the front and side of fifedom yesterday, in what was a gorgeous afternoon.  Celebrated with tavern burgers on the grill, and cold Coors Light.

88 - I had my swimsuit on; with this sprayer you will get soaked, especially the sneakers.  BTW, she didn't wear her bikini.Sad  I picture sitting on your back porch, watching a garden railroad, with the Catoctin range in the background...

From my backyard you can see more houses across the road. Unfortunately we are too close to the hill separating MD355 from I270 so we don't have a good view of Sugarloaf Mountain either. Sad

My power washer gets everything within 50 feet soaked as well.

Something told me to get my yard work all squared away today.  Everything cut, trimmed, and edged.  Clippings were blown off the driveway, porches, and walkways.  Patio rug and bench set in place.

Then nice HR lady called.  Report to railyard 0600 hrs tomorrow.  Lots of work to perform, in prep for the season.  Won't be posting as much for the time being, but will try to keep an eye on the forums.

y'all keep Buckeye and Chief straight.

 Here you go Banks!

Good morning from the Valley and Happy Cinco Mayo.

It's cold in the valley and the meteorologist says it's going to snow. South of Columbus they had sleet.

This morning I gathered Mrs Buckeye's raised garden planks. Maybe we can steal some tomatoes from the Chief. He eats millions.

Have a nice day! Take care!

Goode Evening,

I had success with all the excitement I had today, got all the drill bits sorted and indexed.  I had to "mic" a bunch of them cause the size stamping was worn off.  Not surprised that the majority of the missing ones were all in the same size range, very small ones.  Probably broke them.

Tomorrow work on sorting out all the sockets!  Does this sound like fun or what?

Now you can get an idea why I don't post a lot.  All this excitment here can be hard to bear.  Thinking, just thinking about painting the inside of the garage. ?????

Chief, I don't think I would run into that bear at night out there.  Looks like it is pretty good sized.

Take cary all and stay safe.

Evenin Fellas

Got the steps built today, just need to order the Trex decking, decorative posts, caps, base trim and railings. Have to do some painting now before all that comes in.

Have to get to a nursery soon to buy plants.

Was beautiful today for outside work.

Chief - nice bear outfit

Fife - did you get wet? I used that Windex Sprayer thing to clean the back windows... don't need a shower tonight. Laugh

Hello from a sunny but cool North Bluff.

What a difference a day makes.

 Nice weekend with family.

Was nice yesterday and is way colder today. Daughter and the crew came out yesterday with their new dog. The cat George had to put her in her place. Laugh Grandson ran the wheels off the dirt bike and we cooked on the grill. Dinner

We also had a nice time Saturday at the boy's house celebrating two of the grand-kids birthdays. Was nice to have all the grand-kids but one in the same place at the same time. Also cooked on the grill. Dinner

Sold my LandPride 72" pull behind the tractor finishing mower yesterday to a guy from Wi. I think I did good, I paid $1650 for it 14 years ago and he was happy to give me $1250 for it yesterday. He said new they are now well over 3k. So we were both happy. Yes Listed it on Facebook market place Friday.

Not much more.

Looks like it will be below average all week.

Nice pictures there Chief! Surprise

Kids got themselves one nice looking dog.
