Roy, I just googled the same info and the site popped up,

 http://www.cttrains.com/mth3.htm?vm=r .

They identify the 89022 as a die cast 3rail Bettendorf truck and the 89023 as a 3rail die cast roller bearing truck.

Mystery solved !

Evening all!

Sunny, breezy, 80's. Cools a bit for tomorrow.

Have to be at the airport for the York trip around 3:30 am - ugh....

Dougnotta - so I googled "Weaver Trucks by MTH 20-89022 "and both the Trainworld and MTH "recently released" sites topped the list. Both sites showed the exact same PNs. I will try and see if anything else comes out at York.

Evening All!

It's been a few days so I thought I'd pop in. Snow flurries here....... Grr. No wonder everyone is getting sick. We go from shorts and sandals to parkas in 24 hours!

Ray - My condolences to you for your loss. Like others have said, I'm sure she knew you were there.

Spank - I'm in the same boat with the fertilizer. I have NO IDEA when to put it down this year! Glad the tailgate went well. I'm already itching for September!

Rich - Yes, your Devils looked good last night. My Leafs finally woke up too. Still a tough go against the Bruins.

I hope the York gang has a good time. One of these days!!

Have a good one and prayers.

Rob

G'day All !

To all youu Yorkies making the pilgrimage to "Train Nerd Mecca" I need you guys to check something out. If you look at Trainworld's pre-order list or MTH's shipping schedule they list "Weaver Trucks by MTH", 20-89022 and 89023, as 3rail weaver trucks. Pre-order pricing is the same for both so it appears to be a bit vague. If any of you check out the MTH booth can you try to get some clarification, I am in need of some Weaver trucks but don't want to pre-order when it isn't clear as to which will be the right part number. Thanks.

Phish, Check out "Backdrop Warehouse", that's what we used at the museum. The last time I looked they had quite a large selection of different types of scenery.

Later all, time for my scrapple & eggs . Dinner

Good morning,

Another cold one on The North Bluff at 29 degrees but at least there is sun. They said even though it is only mid April it is the coldest one in 92 years. I believe it.

Yesterday's snow has melted. I would light a fire here but the yard is a swamp between here and the wood shed so screw it.

Wife and I dropped off her car at the dealer yesterday for the timing chain replacement and I told Arron my Tech friend to do the belts and water pump as long as he is going to have it all apart anyway. This will be better than 2K but the car is in great shape otherwise so kinda got to do it.

Not much else.

Good Morning!

Ray - Condolences on your sister, but I'm glad you made the trip ok.

DougNotta - Prayers for your health and hope you can make the trip to the museum!!

I'm baby sitting a Cockatiel for a friend, he is very cool and when I'm home, spends time on my shoulder.  When he wants to come out of his cage, he becomes very animated, running around and hanging upside down....what a trip...lol!

After the heavy rain yesterday, now up to 50 here the next 5 days, there is no spring.....and what about this Global Warming?  HAH!

Last Sunday was at the fire academy, got some live fire and nozzle/mask time.  They thought they could screw with the old guy, got in the door, did a ceiling sweep with the nozzle and proceded to extinguish the fire....and they lit it up again, same procedure, and lit it up 2 more times....finally it was out.  No, I know what I'm doing...lol

Just meetings and such the past 2 weeks, softball tryouts tomorrow.

My Devils are BACK in it, down 2 games to 1 after a BIG win at home, next game tomorrow night.

Yankees win 12-1 against Don Mattingly's Marlins (Chief)

Off to work, check back soon!

Hello there,

was gonna post last evening but got interrupted by the need to get ready to receive 2 feeders.  Son got a 400 lb heifer and a 500lb bull at the sale barn. Both appear to be pure Herford.

York prep  continues. Leaving early Thursday morning.

Phish. ....it's sporting 5 new tires and checked the bearings when I put them on last fall

Roy.....I'll call or text when I get there.

Got an ENT doc appointment with mom later.

Also got to go to the hill. The service pole there blew over sometime this winter. Gotta remove the service as there will be a new pole installed on Friday.

Best move on

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning from 34°F Southern Ohio,

Still on nightshift but the month is half over.  The transition from being on the same schedule as the rest of the world then flipping back and forth to nights gets your internal clock all messed up.  I did sleep in this morning till 9 am then took about an hour nap before coming into work.

We had several periods of hard snow, but not much of it stuck as the ground is getting pretty warm.  It was 86°F on Saturday and 30°F and snowing today (Monday).  I started waxing the truck Sunday and was going to work on it today but it was too cold for the wax.

I stopped by a friend’s house to get an American Flyer set from 1938(?) running for his brother.  It is an O gauge three rail.  The passenger cars 678 & 502 Pullman and 341 Baggage Express cars are nice and just need to replace the light bulbs and a little oiling.  The 570 steamer has been partially repainted, and the zinc rot has the pilot wheels looking pretty rough.  I’m not going to restore the shell, just the old girl running.

I’m thinking I may get one of those landscape murals you apply to the wall like wallpaper for the train room.  Have any of you experienced use of them?

Ray – May God have mercy on the soul of your sister.

Banks – don’t forget to check the camper tires and wheel bearings!

May God bless

Jim

Early mornin fellas

For some reason I can't get to falling asleep, so figured I would come down to the office and do some work... didn't work! Sad

Ray - Condolenses on your sister's passing. Angel

Made an inpromptu trip to Pittsburgh last Friday to do some repairs on the rental. Turns out repairs are only temporary as a new front porch is in order as is a new roof for the back porch. I'm hoping this doesn't break the bank as I am very close to selling the property this year... really need to unload it. It has cost me a ton over the past 10 years, money I could have sorely used for much more prosperous ventures.

Mornin All !

Ray, Prayers for the family. I'd be willing to bet that she knew you were there. She held out just long enough for you to get there.

Not much happening here, just the regular routine of one doctor or another or visiting the vampires to leave a deposit. However after my primary care provider had my other doc's on a conference call several of my meds were stopped or the dosage changed. As a result my BP has come up to a better level upper 90's over 60's. But the "ejection fraction" is now at 27%, hopefully it will come up some over the next few months.

Might try to make it to the museum sometime this week. My BetterHalf said she would go with me and spend the day or as long as I can handle the time there before running out of gas.

Gotta get a move on, almost time to visit the dentist this morning.

Later all !

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.  Especially when the Mr. Coffee goes on the fritz...  Oh well.

Wifey enjoyed her ride along the Alleghanies Saturday.  Drove from home to Oakland, around Deep Creek, and headed north to Meyersdale, where we met up with a CSX coal train, and let it chase us to Sand Patch.

My church got a guy to help me build one for my wife. We are blessed with people like that. Glad you got home safe and sound.

I don't care to fly anymore with what I have heard it takes to get a flight.

Good evening all, Just checking in after a week on the East Coast.  We went to outside Jacksonville, N.C. and saw my dying sister.  Unfortunately, she was not consious so I don't know if she knew we were there or not.  We stayed for a day or so then headed North to see my brother in Va. who is also in stage 4 cancer.  My sister passed away last night early this morning.  We got home last night.  My brother came home from rehab last Wednesday but they will need a hospital bed and wheel chair.  Some friends built a ramp for him while we were there.  His cancer is very aggresive and the prognosis is not good.  Don't know how much good we did but he was glad to see us.  One of my boys went with me and did all the driving.  We had GPS on the car and needed it.  I would have been lost without it.  When we drove to North Carolina we followed the route of the old Atlantic Coast Line Norfolk branch from Rocky Mount to Portsmouth, VA.  Part of it has been removed but we found that parts of it are still in service and operated by the North Carolina and Virginia Railroad.  We stopped at Ahoskie, N.C. and took some pictures of the depot and some engines there.  The town saved the train order semaphore signals and had a plaque at the base.  We saw a couple of train stations in Suffolk, Va too, one of which is a museum now.  I am really glad to be back home.  I feel like I will never leave again.  I just can't do well in the airports.  I got a wheel chair between gates in Charlotte and glad I did.  We went from one end of the place to the other. Hope you are all well.

Ray

Good evening all,

Welcome, Mike.  Good to see another Hoosier here.  For once a good day sports wise.  Pacers upset LeBron, Indy 11 won, TK got another top 10 for AJ, and watched an entertaining EPL match that clinched the title for Man City.  In between everything else, bought a new dishwasher.  Weather turning colder.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Sunny, cold N breeze, and only 45 at noon. Maybe 60 today.

Not sure they will get the NASCAR Bristol race in today.

Vacuumed the house this morning. I stick to a strict regimen. Every 6 months whether it needs it or not!

Fifer - Happy Bday to Ms. Kelly!

Kids coming for dinner tonight. Steaks!

Hello there.

Wow!!!...where is everyone???? No one since Fife this morning.

I think spring is here. The oak tree finally lost all it's leaves and the Barn Swallows came back yesterday.

Spent most of the day fixing things and hauling s**t. It was still 80 degrees on the patio at 8PM when I came in. Yesterday I got the Tahoe ready to tow the camper to York. Weather permitting I'll move the camper to the driveway and bath it on Monday.

Ready for bed.

Prayers for those in need

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & 57, with highs in the 90's, in the Potomac Highlands.  Streamin' in some slack key guitar music to fit the mood.  Went fishing late yesterday on top of the mountain, and caught 2 more bass than I was expecting to catch, then enjoyed the sunset over my parent's pond.  Came home and enjoyed the So-Co that middle princess gave me.  Dept. 56 Ice Delivery came from oldest princess.  All-in-all, a good week for Fifey.

Today is Ms. Kelly's Cake.  Trip to Deep Creek today.  Whatever her little heart desires.  She has became quite the "backwoods Barbie" over this past year.  Less make-up, letting her hair grow natural and no dye: pretty lady.
