Chain saw's, I have a 12" on a pole and a 14" Both are electric. Now would not use for anything major but I got them because at the time I was told not to operate a gas one because possible shock and that could cause damage to my Defibrillator I had at the time. But with what I need to cut down/trim the two I have are all I need.

Good afternoon.
Yeah RT elect saws work fine if you don't have a lot of trees to keep up with. Never thought one would mess with a medical device?
I have a 12" attachment saw head that goes on the end of my Stihl weed wacker. But like Roy said it get heavy fast.
Nice you get a brake on the med cost Doug DG!!!
Got the Hopkins trailer brake controller today so I put it into the Colorado.
Worked out slick. Took about two hours of screwing around but I like it. Came out a neat and clean looking install.

Good evening all,
Good to hear about your medical coverage, Doug. Nice install, Kev! Quiet day at work. Still warm for walk. Supposed to cool down tonight. Gave the high school kids a pre-sectional pep talk. Made some arrangements for some time off in October and November, most for medical stuff. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,

Mornin' boys. Breezy and 67 along the Patterson Creek cut-off (might lose the leaves before they turn). Nice day yesterday visiting my folks. Wifey cleaned their house (her thing), while I fished (my thing).
Long day today: Clean-up at yard in morning, then big managers meeting this afternoon. But first, breakfast at my favorite omlette joint.
Good morning,
Cold this morning on The North Bluff, Had to turn on the heat to get the edge off the house and the cat don't want to go out. Only 70 for the high today. Good working weather.
Back to mid 80s by early next week.
Hope that medical stuff is nothing big Mike!
Aloha. Much more seasonal today but as Kev says, it's supposed to warm up next week. Looks like a quiet day at work. I was going to watch the Bears game at home but I remembered I have a meeting at church (good thing Amazon Prime video is streaming it - I'll have to sit in the back and look attentive). I'd like to get an electric saw someday. I just use a long-toothed 'manual' saw and it's hard work!
Dennis, thanks for the advice. Yes, i used a coax cable from this antenna on the roof - inadvertently it was hooked up to the coax cable bringing the cable tv feed into the house - so last night, I rigged up the tv feed via cat6 ethernet through the router instead and it worked! (i want to keep a basic cable tv feed because it allows unlimited internet data, rather than paying more for that).

Doug the electric pole saw is a lot of work also. To me the best way if you have a ladder that will reach, use it and a electric chain saw not on a pole.
That saw on the end of the pole 1) gets heavy quick 2) can be difficult to control ( especially after some time using it as the weight will start to get to you)
Sun and 60s today
There were a few fallen leaves as I cut the grass yesterday.

Afternoon all!
Overcast and the good news is we got 3/4" or more of rain since yesterday. The area needed it. Been over a month since last.
Back hurts for some reason today. Taking it easy.
Regards, Roy
Great weather for a walk today and for watching that "All American" sport. Unfortunately the junior high team got roughed up in their final game of the season 8-0. Still they doubled the number of wins from last year. "My" soccer girls lost again 3-0. Hopefully they finish the season with a win. Some train stuff arrived today from Grzybowski's (sp?), a Halloween handcar, elevated trestle set and an Alaska RR gondola. Work was quiet today. I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning All,
I'm sipping on a coffee enjoying some Fall weather finally!
I'm glad the week is wrapping up. It's been a long one dealing with my sister in law's affairs. (Thanks Roy and Doug for the condolenses).
Crazy football game last night. My Packers won, but I'm still not sure about that hit on Adams. I thought the NFL was supposed to add the NCAA-style targeting rule this season. ????
Have a good day and thoughts and prayers to those in need.
Rob

Still hanging in there at work. Haven't heard from the new people. Pretty much decided I'm retiring unless the make me an offer I can't refuse.
Busy time of year Had a nice long post going last weekend. Accidentally hit the back button and it was gone. Tried typing a memo but this ()*&%^*(@ software won't let me past the text. Wedding tomorrow and hillclimb Sunday. Somewhere got to fit in three boxes of maters that need canned. Garden is pretty well done.
Roy said he got his plane tickets to York. I'm planning to be there. Anybody else?

Lots of meetings at work. Good weather for walking. Mowed tonight. Busy day tomorrow. Got MR today. I hope everyone has a good day.
Morning. Cooler here. Spent yesterday in the woods in Edgecombe. Gun season Oct 14. Way behind on that work. Moved a ladder stand and pulled up a bit box stand. Food plots to do. Shooting lanes to trim as trees grow onut over a year.
Got two events to do today. Seems Mayors never get off much.

V8, sorry you are having so much trouble with those teeth. My sister in Florida is having trouble too. She lives in an assisted living place and doesn't have a lot of disposable income. I helped her get an upper plate and a lower partial about a year ago. She only had 4 real teeth left connected to the partial. Nowl those teeth have gone bad and will have to be removed. Now I'm told that they will have to make a new upper and lower plate. Seems like there is no end to this.
I went to see another dermatologist this week for a second opinion on my dermatitus which I have been fighting for months. He told me that what I have will not go away and I would just have to live with it. Not exactly what I wanted to hear but at least it's not life threatening. For now, I am doing everything the original doctor prescribed and maintaining the status quo but no cure.
A friend of mine just turned over his train collection to someone who will sell for him. I've given some thought to it myself.
I haven't been on the coffee pot lately so I'm sorry for the birthdays I missed and any other serious problems. My own birthday is coming up on October 13th. I am going on a train ride October 14th on some private cars behind Amtrak about 250 miles up the California Coast and back to celebrate a friends railroad retirement. That will be my birthday present too.
Have a good week end.

Evening all!
Beautiful day today. Low 80's and humidity down.
Spent the day yesterday at the big monthly flea market in Canton TX. Walked a lot and ate junk food. Looked for tools but not anything good this time. Was an overcast day with temps in the high 70's.Have to put off the State Fair excursion until next week. Daughter is bringing her boyfriend for dinner tomorrow so we can not load up on junk food all day at the fair.Went with friends/neighbors this evening to a new bar/restaurant near downtown. It is a BBQ place with a big outdoor patio. It is called Ferris Wheelers and they have an antique traveling carny style Ferris Wheel on the patio. I was talking to one of the owners and he said he found it on EBay in New Mexico. It is a 1938 model and classic cable drive. They can't run it yet as they are waiting on permits and a certified mechanic to re-adjust the drive cable after some clutch repairs. Very cool!
Ray - good to hear from you! Neat trip you have planned for your bdaycool!
Dennis - sorry about the dentures. Hope you can get it resolved Soon.
As Banks said, I have my tics to BWI for York!
Cold here guys, the heat is on in the house. It will get up to 70 later today but in the low 40s now.
We could sure use some rain. Darn dust everywhere here.
Yesterday I went over to the Ritchie Bros. auction site to walk the equipment with Brian and Jim. Slim pickings at the auction site, I did not see anything I wanted then we got back Jim and I mounted the snow plow carriage on the ranger. Later in the day I did the power from the battery to the plow. Today maybe I will plug the plow on and see if it all works as it should.
Dennis, why I have done everything I can to keep my God given teeth all my life. Hope you get it figured out.
A F-450 Super Duty Limited is a lot of truck but that is almost 4 times what I paid for my first house.
