tinplatacis,

The temp was relly only 75 at the time they had this 133F on the screen.

Look close and you will see that Heat Index when it said it was 133F was 0F Somebody kind of messed up. If we had 133F temps on the North Bluff it would make national news. Surprise  Smile, Wink & Grin

Good evening all,

Very busy day at work, but got a lot done despite Pain Two being in "fine form'".  Person wants everything perfect so they do not have to do anything.   Good game tonight.  We lost 3-1 but I played really well for me.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Evening from beautiful Southern Ohio,

Got quite a bit of grass cut today.  Went and cut the front yards of some abandoned houses that have not been cut all year.  Needless to say they were a mess.

The cruise control is installed and works great.  The next one will go a lot quicker if I ever need to do it again.

Chief - Can’t wait for our tomatoes to come on and have fresh sandwiches like yours

Kev - herniated disk, could be worse but just do as the doc’s say.

Dennis - I’d think the warranty would cover  a replacement if necessary.

Good night and may God bless

Jim

Good evening all,

Busy, productive day at work.  Did not get as hot as predicted.  Did not walk much at noon because of hamstring pull during game.  Will walk a lot at train show in Indy tomorrow.  Not sure what to expect.  Went to see "Finding Dory" tonight.  Good movie.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Angel To Dallas

Morning all. Cut grass this am. Still need to go give it a wacking. No real news for today. Just going to take it easy going up to 97* but the worst part is the humidity that comes with it down here.

Prayers for all in need.

Sun and 90s today

We finally got rain overnight. Don't know how much we got but some of the Detroit freeways had flooded areas. As for the animal kingdom in this country, best I just keep quiet.

Wow bad time to be a police officer. Angel I wish the media could see how much they have a hand in all of this, Showing things over and over. Hmm

Another night sleeping in the recliner, I tried to sleep in bed but I can't get out of the bed without un bearable pain.

Well had beter try to eat something,

The meds somehow give me a um-controllable twitch. Makes it hard to type.

They are the reason some people have gotten mad and out of hand.  They do not report the whole truth.

Have a good one,

Kev, get well.  Prayers.

This has the be the sorriest software in history.  Tired to post with a quote.  Would not let me put a curser on the page after the quote.  Maybe Windows 10????  Anyway, copied and pasted quote adn then curser came on page so I could type.

Highly upset over the Dallas thing.  I have a son that is Wake County SRT [SWAT] and his Wife-to-be [Oct 22] that is a single mom [three daughters] who is Raleigh PD.  I have 25 full time officers that all the citizens say they are great.  Lots of close friends in law enforcement.  I also can tell you who causes the people to get mad by his mouth.  Can't say who here.  Hope all keep good heads.  Have had some NC Cities reporting they have received phone threats since Dallas.  Another person loves to stir the other side too.  Calm please.

Good night.

You are right Chief about this software, never works the same twice.

Morning guys,

Slept good and all night without waking up in the recliner. Just now got up for the 6:00am pills, 5 of them and some laxative powder stuff. My gut is talking to me now.

Today is grand-son Jordan's 3rd birthday but we are going to miss the party so they are coming out tomorrow so I can give him his John Deere tractor I got him. Dan is going to cut the rest of the grass then.

This laying around sucks, I like to be doing things but I know if I do I will pay for it. I cut the grass in front of the shed yesterday with the big tractor and it was not to bad, It has a $1,000 seat on it and so it is a pretty good ride.

Prayers for those who have been hit with the latest round of hate. Angel

I find it very hard to see where social media has helped our world today. JMHO

Best try to get back to sleep. Sleep

Good afternoon/evening all !

Prayers for those who put on the uniform to "Protect & Serve" and their families. Couldn't have expressed it better than what Banks said. As for any other comments I'll just bite my lip otherwise I might be banned for life.

Kev, Be careful with trying to  do things that the Doc hasn't approved. Kinda like an ounce of prevention, not overdoing it, beats a pound of cure, overdoing resulting in more drastic approach.

I'm still battling my symptoms, to the point that the betterhalf asking me to cut back on some of my club requirements. She has even intimated about me not driving for awhile, we'll see. Cardiologist on Tueday with the betterhalf going with me.

Did make it to the museum on Friday but was absolutely exhausted when I got home.

Later all !

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & 72 in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Really worked hard outside yesterday, so I slept pretty good.  NASCAR race put me to sleep.  Girls are at beach this weekend, so fifepup and I hung out for a change.

As far as the current state of affairs, perhaps there's been too much "tongue biting" over the past several decades...[2c]

Good morning guys,
Going to be a nice day on the North Bluff. Sun, mid 80s and low humidity,
Some-day-maybe SIL can’t cut the grass because he has to work, So I did it yesterday and DougDG is right I should not of. Lost whatever healing I had got over the last few days doing that. Stupid is what stupid does. Laugh
Daughter and kids are coming over to celebrate the little guy’s 3rd birthday That was yesterday.
He got a motorcycle for completing potty training from his mom and dad, and he is getting the JD from us. So the boy is mobile now.    These kids today, I never got anything that cool when I was a kid.  Crying
Dennis, maybe you shouldn’t have fixed the front end of the Integra. Surprise

Kev, is that  a R3203?  What I was thinking about buying.  Then I said, I got tractor that I use once a year or maybe twice.  Rest of the time it sits unless I am moving trailers or something.  Why spend the $$$.  Also, the guy who was after my Tractor and equipment got quite.  If anything, I will buy a rotary tiller.  My tractor is acutally more HP with two speed PTO.  Will run it fine.

That is a great tractor.  I did a lot of research on them.

Good evening all,

Good weather today.  Sprayed weeds behind garage.  Pulled weeds in wife's landscaped area.   Listened to Indycar race in Iowa.  Josef Newgarden won going away.  AJ's cars were doing good to get 11th and 15th.   I hope everyone has a good day.

ChiefEagles

Kev, is that  a R3203?

Chief, Yep give me a PM or a e-mail,   I ues it all the time and I like it. Hard to think I have had it 10 years already. It did not have some things I needed but I added my own 3rd lines HYD system and it is easy, no mid PTO but that ws okay with me.

They would not let you add a lot of things for them to force you to spend $4K more but I just walked around all of that. I am just a cheapskate. Smile, Wink & Grin we can talk about it all about how to do it.

Had a great time with the grand kids today. this twitch is driveing me nuts.

Hello all

Been a while since I posted here.

Been taking some time off so I can make the move. Of course, I have to do some work on the new 'residence' first.

The last couple weeks I have had the 'perfect storm' of vehicular issues. I went from 3 vehicles running, registered, and insured to my bicycle. Sucked some water into the engine of the datsun during a really big rain storm. My alternate intake for the pcv system was a little low I guess. We have the head off now. No damage, but that's not exactly a quick job. Brake light switch went out on the van and it's not available locally, so that's on it's way from back east. Got the 4dr Corvair out of slumber (keep in mind it has driven just fine the last couple times I have taken it out of 'storage' @ my friends) and it's got a cylinder that just wont hit. Put a toggle switch in the van today so I could turn on the brake lights manually.

So the move is a bit on hold. I should be able to get back down to the barn tomorrow and do some more work. Will prob be where I am for another month.

The husband of the manager team for the park will be taking the N-gauge layout. He's excited to get it and has a good place for it in his shop.

Our Brill trolley is now able to move under it's own power w/ the overhead in our work area.

Any of you Flyer guys interested in a 295 w/ a couple of New Haven passenger cars? Have a friend who wants to get rid of one. Prob just needs basic maintenance and I imagine it's going cheap.

Mornin' Fellas

Haven't been on in a while. No excuse for that.

Just got in from taking Christina for her quarterly opthomologist appointment. She got another clear bill of health. Hard to believe it has been a year since she was diagnosed with JRA.

Finally got around to building the storage shelves for Matthew's room. My sister bought him 3 large canvas baskets and 3 small canvas baskets a while ago and I never got around to building the storage shelves. Well knocked that out yesterday. 48"Wx36"Hx18"D. Nice sturdy unit. Just need to fill the screw and brad holes, then sand and paint. This coming weekend I'll buy the wood to build the bookshelves that will sit on top of it. Then we need to get him a new twin mattress for his new bed and he'll be in his 'big boy room'.

Taking the kids to Ocean City for Christina's 5th birthday at the end of the month. Can't believe she'll be 5!!!!

Sorry to read about Laz's Mom. SadAngel

Not looking good for York in October. Sad

Hi guys,

Bob,

There is a thing out there about if it has tires and ----- it will give you problems.  Wink

Something about Kids,

Brent this is what you get to look for.

Grandson Jordan turned 3 on Saturday,

Okay. So grandson Jordan had to get potty trained to get battery ride on motorcycle for his birthday, and he did good so he got it.

Well yesterday he told Katie (his mom) he needed to go #1 and she told him to just #1 in the grass. So he gets things out and #1 in the yard. Later he needed to go again and she told him the same thing. So he does it again.  Then after we ate he is outside in the back yard. He comes around to the front yard and his shirt and pants are on wrong. Well he pulled off his pants and took a #2 in Sandra's flower bed behind the house.. LOL Could not say to much about it. Guess he figured if he could #1 outside he could save himself a trip to the bathroom and just deal with it outside.

Kids got to love it.  Smile, Wink & Grin Laugh Bang Head

Hope they do not ban this, it is just to good, You can't make it up.

Good day at work.  Got rid of some more stuff tonight, just items and paperwork that was no longer needed.   Did my regular walk at noon.   I think heat got to me a little so maybe I will cut back tomorrow.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Kev - that is awesome!

We had the roof replaced the week before we went to Jamaica, well Susan gets home with the kids (roofers are still there), and the kids come running. Matthew disappears for a few minutes and the guys on the roof are just laughing... next thing we know Matthew comes around the corner with his pants and underwear around his ankles. One of the guys yells down "He went to the chimney, pulled his pants down, and peed all over his pants!" Sure enough his underwear and pants were soaked... Susan looks at me and says "Ooops, he said he needed to go and I told him to hold it till we got home because there was nowhere to stop." Guess he forgot he had to go, and then he couldn't make it to the powder room before it was too late.

Fife - that sucks - on both accounts. Sad
