Good evening all,

Stayed off the feet all day at work, but when I got home, they were throbbing.  Soaked them in epsom salts and they feel better.  Work went well today as I got the labs done for once in one day.   Watched the Flash and Izombie.  Not really liking the direction is heading with this time shift thing.   Did get my Indy GP tickets ordered very late last night.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Gloomy and damp on the North Bluff today. 37 going to 52. The rain they were ranting about all day yesterday never happened.. On a good note: Looks like I will get the mini cigarette lighter video camera today for making movies of the trains running around the layout. That should be fun.  Thinking of putting it on the roof of the K-Line speeder.

Aloha. I've spent the week home on a sort of spring break staycation (we're still open but the bride and youngest were home). It turned out to be 'decluttering' - a word meaning throw things out. I don't mind the chance to discover things and clear out more space for train-related things. Might tackle the basement (shudder). Hope today is better, MikeC. Kev, I've used an old Flip brand camera in a wagon pushed by Thomas or Ivor to take a layout film. It's fun!

G'day All.

Went for the echocardiogram this morning. Tech wouldn't tell me anything but after the first imaging was done she consulted with the resident cardiologist and the took some after giving me an IV loaded with something that really lit up the heart on the screen. Hopefully my cardiologist will get to review the results and give me some info later today.

Need to figure out what I'll be taking to the museum tomorrow. Haven't run the Challenger with the woodside reefers for awhile, perfect !

Tired, think I'll go stretch out for a bit.

Later !

Cooler and some rain the past couple of days here.  Been really busy at work lately.  Seems like I have not escaped before 6pm for many days.

I've won a #30 water tower and an operating stock car on e-bay recently.  They should be arriving in the near future.  The operating stock car was listed as 'operational'.  We'll see when it gets here.

About all for now.

Some sunshine, but not too much warm today.  One of the guys at work said that it was snowing like mad some miles west of town on his way in this morning.

Roy - sorry to hear about your old dog.

I saw a bumper sticker on a car in traffic today, and thought that it was worth repeating here - "My other car is a Tardis".

My operating stock car got here today.  Unpacked it and it looks OK.  Have not hooked up the power yet to see if it works.  If it does, I'll have an operating one to use as reference for the one that needs rebuilding I got a while back.

I participated in an interview with a prospective engineering candidate today.  He is about two years out of college.  Man - was I that young when I started out????

All for now.

Good morning,

Snowing like crazy here, about an inch on the ground.  It was a short Spring as tonight's low is predicted to be 20 degrees.  It was 66 yesterday afternoon and we bought some pansy's to plant out if it ever warms up enough.

Roy, Sorry to hear about your dog, we have always had at least one dog in the house, until we lost the last one sometime ago, Jean decided she didn't want to go through that again and we never got another.

Hope it warms by York week in late April.

Have a great weekend.

Off to Hunters Haven in a few.  Did get to sleep late.

Been a early out and late in week for me.  I probably put in more hours than Buckeye did.  Bang Head

Roy, sorry for the doggie you lost.

Sir J, if I don't get a haircut soon, will get the shaggy dog award.  Been no time.

Y6B runs good [when I get a chance to get into Train Box].

Stay warm Yanks.

PS: Oh, Don.  Why don't you tell VA about your lawn furniture.  Knowing you and them, they will come and paint for you. Whistling

Roy....Sorry to hear you lost your family pet.  Not fun.

Today, Mrs. Buckeye and I headed north to TMCC Heaven in Northern Ohio where Boxcar Bill fixes and replaces the electronics on just about any locomotive made.  What a great guy and he knows his stuff.  Repairs arrive from all over the world.  We also had a private tour of his layout.  We had a great time!  Thumbs UpThumbs UpThumbs Up  I'm humbled to say that I learned a lot today.  I can't wait for my chance to fix the Chief's locomotives Devil that he destroys due to using Suthern electricity, which is cheap and defective.

My CTT Magazine arrived yesterday.  Another great issue, but I was disappointed in one small item concerning the repair of Lionel's circular accessories.  The instructions say they should be run with no more than 7 volts.  I have ran mine for years at 12 volts as per Lionel's instructions.  Huh?

Good evening all,

Roy, sorry to hear about the loss of your dog.  Sunny but cold in Indiana.  Spent the day in Bloomington.   Good news: Sato for AJ's team was fastest Honda in 5th starting spot.  Bad news:  Penske starts 1-4.  Will still watch race.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana
