Happy new year all,

Watched the Rose Parade on TV this morning and saw a flyover by a B-2 Bomber.  It flew over the parade in Pasadena and continued East.  We saw it fly right over my house.  Wow!

Got my ham and blackeyed peas ready to go today.  They say they're lucky.  I don't know but I'm not taking any chances.  Just wish I had some water ground cornbread to go with it.

Laz, how clever of you to have a birthday on new years day.

Happy birthdayHappy B-DayBeerBeerBeerCakeGift .

Finally found the car type of my MTH RPO car with the broken truck and the car number from an old catalog.  Will call MTH tomorrow.

Now to get ready for Rose Bowl football game.

Later,

Ray

Happy New Years day gang.  Eat plenty of blackeyed peas.  The more you eat, the richer you will be.  Never have been able to eat a million on New Years day. Confused

Happy B-Day LAZ, belly up to the bar boys. Beer  And many more.

New Years resolution.  Go visit Pat in VA.

Buckeye, smart Grandson.  Takes after his GrandMOTHER. Laugh

Fifey, give us some photos of the rotory coal dump.

Hunting news.  Fred shot a buck yesterday AM after I sent him to the canal stand.  Actually shot him by moonlight.  A few minutes before legal shooting time. Whistling  It was real bright with clear skies, cold and moon was high.  I was in the woods at 5:30 and could see to shoot then too.  No hunting today [last day of season] as light rain.

Enjoy the day.

PS: yesterday was the first time this winter we had mud holes that the water was frozen.  Unbelievable.

I hope you don't get washed away Jeffery. Boy we could sure use any form of H2O around here. The ground is still pulled away from the foundation on the house from the drought.

You're welcome to all you want. Right now were have what I call hit and run showers. It's a nice 54 degrees out there.

Happy New Year boys!  The natives behaved themselves enough for me to get home to the wifey in time to see the ball drop.  Poor fifepup had to work the graveyard shift at the supermarket.  I shall spend more time wiring up buildings on the new section today.  I installed the K-Line front end loader in front of the rotary coal dumper, to "scoop up" any wayward black diamonds.  Will be looking for the K-Line operating dump truck at YORK.  Still need to install the bathroom sink under the benchwork.

Enjoy your day.

Oh, IdeaCool almost forgot, Demay since you are a day ahead of us, could you kindly reveal the 4-digit lottery picks...?

Happy New Year To all you Pot heads. Laugh Coffee pot that is.

18 Degrees but the sun is out. Going to 23 today.

Best wishes to you all for a safe and healthy new year 2013.

 Great news BOC Yes

Potty trained is a wonderful thing when it comes DennisD.  It seems girls are faster at it than the boys.

I hope you don't get washed away Jeffery. Boy we could sure use any form of H2O around here. The ground is still pulled away from the foundation on the house from the drought.

No big plans for today, just working on an idea for the hobo camp site.

Happy New Year folks; although you all were late. Smile, Wink & Grin

My last day of vacation went by fast.  I built the table the wife requested, but I still need to stain and seal it.  That may be an ordeal since none of our base stores carry those items and finding it off-base will require some translating.  Oh well, that's part of the fun of living over here.  I was able to catch the end of some bowl games earlier this morning as well.  I'm looking forward to seeing some of the games while I'm at the office tomorrow morning as well.

BOC - That is terrific news. Yes  I hope you have regained some of your weight.

Dennis - Yes, silence is always a sign something is afoot with the kids.  You were fortunate this time as anytime diapers come off there's no telling how ugly the situation might turnout. Ick!

Sayonara,

Joe

Good morning. Happy New Year. It's 51° with 100% humidity. It's going to be a wet one today. The high will be 52°.

Looks like there will be plenty of rain today. Maybe the first day of the year will also be the wettest? Later I'll see what the rest of my family is up to. There's usually a New Years dinner or some such thing going on.
