sir james I 41 degrees now, this is going to be our 58 degree day. Don B your post was funny but removing it was probably a good idea as the e-mails fly fast on here. Just like a bunch of women at a beauty salon...Had a long chat with Brutus and Charlie last night...S.J.

I'm confused! My decision had nothing do to with any emails.

Konbanwa,
I have time for a very quick post before heading off to bed. Thanks for all the comments on the video. We ran the trains again for a short while after dinner. I spent about two hours downloading some new music to my iPod shuffle; it should not have taken so long but I am not an Apple person. I'll be praying for all of us.
Jeffrey - I was going to compliment your Air Force F2 until that other lettering showed up on it. Why did you go and ruin that wonderful blue paint job?
Sayonara,
Joe
Good Morning CTTFans!
It's 26F and Sunny here at Mile High with a hit if snow maybe coming Thursday. It's been so warm this year that the trees are starting to bud out and the Iris are coming up. The grass never truly went dormat and is starting to green up. It's still January right???

Aloha . Supposed to flirt with 60 today. Love it! Bought my wife a new chair last night. Got it all the way home and found it's missing parts. Sigh. Charlie, sending you some sun I packed it up last night. Jeffrey, nice patch jobs. My personal real-world favorite was a UPY GP20 in Rio Grande's Orange and Black scheme in our local yard years ago... Almost as good as UPW MP15s in MILW Orange in Chicago's North Ave. yard I pass every workday. Brutus, hope you're feeling better. Kev, we had an earthquake last night! Only 2.4 but now I feel like our left-coastians! Those skulls found by the side of the road were real but educational tools. Someone's idea of a joke. Doug, we're just a few blocks from the G8/Nato summit sites. We're canceling everything after-hours so far and may even post-pone classes.

Just a quick Hi and BY, Going to be 60 degrees today. Having some Cheerios and then off to see the foot Dr. Three years ago today was my first day of retirement! WOW time does fly. Glad I am not on the bashing and trashing e-mail list. Keep me off of it please. Chief, You got to use a helmet to ride a dirt bike on the only sidewalk in town? Poor kids on bicycles and tricycles. Thanks for all of the concerns on my foot guys. Prayers to all in need. Later, Kev.

Buckeye Riveter Laz....Just remember I get a cut if you sell that stuff I brought back from NC. I thought the Chief would like the forum to be slow. Everything else in Roseyville is slow. It has occurred to me that I'm now a wanted man due to my visit to Roseyville. Mmm.....this might make life interesting.

Buckeye......I think it was very polite of you to make sure that the angle at which you took your Roseyville pictures didn't reveal the Chief's moonshine operations, his trashcan-based gas grill, or the automotive graveyards which Jeffrey has been furiously modelling. I was sorry to see that even photoshopping the picture of the Chief didn't help his appearance much.......

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Good morning. It's 56° and cloudy. The high will be 73° and there's a 30% chance of getting wet. Not much going on this morning. I have an appointment with the foot doc so I'll be leaving within the hour. Well yesterday the Air Force put in an appearance on the layout and got shuffled right into the paint shop. Before they quite knew what was happening their prize F2-A loco was taped off and and tagged with the L&A logo and it's crew booted out onto the street with bus fare. The Air Force F2 now belongs to the L&A seeing as it was sold to the line.

jeffrey-wimberly Even the Air Force isn't safe from the L&A! I'm like the Borg! If it's on my layout it will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

Good morning all,
IIABSDISEI with temps in the 60s. I love global warming. May wash some of the vehicles tonight. Got a good night's sleep and feeling better. Will be another interesting day at work. I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast before sending it on to "Points East" and "Points West". TBIL and I can drive. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Hi GUYZ,
30 here gonna hit 60 today!
BOB, love the TRUNK MONKEY!!!
KEV Hope the foot problems end.
TRAINDOOD, I guess I can't give you a LAUREL and HARDY handshake? Hope it heals for you.
CHIEF, I agree on the e mails.
Stay frosty,
laz57
PS Anybody want to buy some junk from NC? Email me.
Sorry CHIEF just had to do it.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill RR....
It is a mild 48 degrees. No rain. Going up to 55 today. Maybe sunshine.
I'm up early today. I have a lot on my mind. Need to run an errand and do the usual chores. I will make a few phone calls on business. A nap, later, will be needed. Getting ready to make a decision on whether to move or not.
Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Tuesday.
Chuck
Reclinerized too long.
Charlie, us REBS are keeping the sunshine down here.
8N, jealous. One day I'll get one.
Roy, like I said, all the poo poo Buckeye has been dumping on this forum has slowed it down.
Sleep tight.

Late evening all!
The CTT site is very very slow from here this afternoon and could not post until now.
It is warming up here with temps to be 60's/70's rest of the week and maybe some rain Wed? What happened to winter?
Kevin - good luck with the foot dr.
Jeffrey - you got right to those F units - looking good! Sorry about your feet.
Don - missed your post?
Long day at w**k today. Ugh. Overloaded again.
Have a great day tomorrow all!
Regards, Roy
Sunny and in the 50's and 60's the last couple of days.
I've pulled the trigger on one of my Lionel bucket list items - a N&W J Class. This one in the form of the PWC N&W Space Freight set issued in 2006. Just waiting for the brown truck now. Found a deal on one that was not much more than what the locomotives alone have been going for lately.
Prayers for healing, jobs and missing stuff.
All for now.
KRM I have given up on the self-healing hope for my foot and am going to the foot Dr. tomorrow to see what the heck is wrong. I can barley walk and the top of the foot is bruised and it feels like it was run over by a truck. Twice the size of the left foot.

Prayers and best wishes for you my friend.
Cold and dreary here in the north country. Somebody send us some sunshine!
Chief, You have sidewalks there ?
Chief - dang, hope your stuff turns up again, that stinks!
Mike - hope you get your innards sorted. Mine have been messed up since last Wednesday and I think it was something in the food that my system doesn't like. I know shortening and some other things I have to avoid, so maybe it was in disguise or something.... You never know, and in a all included place like that training center, you get what they serve you. It seemed tastey for the most part - This should pass soon now (I hope)!
Found the key to the banilla locker, so we'll stop and roust SJ out of his house and make him drive again - he can do loop-d-loops, cause they can't hurt me worse now
PS - Kev, hope your foot is better soon.
PPS - Nice video Joe!
PPPS - Buckeye
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Wow this forum is really getting slow. I think it is all the bull ---- that Buckeye is loading on here.
SP, A/C guy came after this happened. Was discovered but had to go to lake house and make sure I had not taken them up there. Targeted two items but left others that couldhave been easily taken too.
Now hear this: The email badgering had better stop. I come home and find a bunch of crapy emails. We are all brothers and we may not agree but we are brothers. Now badgering gets under my skin.
Busy evening with reception and meeting. Now for dinner. Yes, this late.
BTW: Rolesville PD ran down a dirt biker who has been riding on sidewalks and etc. He wrecked in the chase. He ran and Officer caught him. He tried to fight and got the worse end of the deal. Then said he wass new here and did not know he could not ride on sidewalks and ride with no helment. Yankee of course.
Later
Time for me to call it a night. Got an appointment with the foot doc in the morning.
Good evening all,
Chief, sorry to hear about the theft from your property. I would think the AC/heat guy is probably bonded but I suppose you have to prove who took it to collect. Looks awfully suspecious though.
I have been worried all day about a friend of mine. Talked to him yesterday and he was complaining of chest pains when he went walking his dog. Said he had to take nitro glycerine pills for it and was going to get it checked out. No answer on his phone all day so I'm assuming that he might have gone in to the ER or something and was kept in the hospital for observation. I can't get hold of his wife either so she is probably with him. Sure hope everything is OK. I need every friend I have left.
My #2 son is returning home from Daytona tonight after being gone for 4 days. Probably will arrive hungry since the airlines don't feed you anymore except maybe first class. His Eastbound flight was no change of plane but one stop enroute so no chance for food in that direction either. I think If I got a flight like that, I would bring a lunch. Flying has gone to @#%@% along with a lot of other stuff.
Went to train meet on Sunday. Lots of stuff in the auction and on tables. Good turnout.
Good night all,
Ray

IIABSDISEI with temps near 50. Supposed to be like this all week. US women won the qualifying round for the Olympics by not allowing any goals at all. Michael Shank Racing won the 24 Hours of Daytona over TCGR. Work was long and my innards could be doing better. Must be some bad grits somewhere. Buckeye, good to see you made it back ok from the raid. Chief is quite hospitable. TMCC man, good to see you back. Sorry to hear of your lady problems, but hopefully all will be ok.
Don wish you left your post but do understand you deleting most of it. I thought it was good and funny.
Evening all having the problem the rest are I guess with windows 7 and this site yes I know to click the torn paper but some times it seems I can't get the font size I want after doing that.
Okay now I got it.
Bob Looks like your new office could be a blast.
Well one more day then off for a few.
Hope all are having a good week talk to you all later.

KRM: That's true, but I'm a firm believer in the honor system. If it isn't mine, I'm not taking it from its owner!
Evenin' Y'all.
Conga's to Roy & Bob. What's the possibility of a big "Road Trip" thru Texas & N.C., visiting Lake Houses ?
Doug M., From some of the stories it sounds like a nice long vacation is in order for some Chicagoans during the G8 & Nato meetings. Some of the Occupados & anarchists want to make this worse than the "68" craziness.
Anybody got a set of the K-Line TMCC steamer instructions for a newbie ? I have a set but my scanner died so I can't copy and e-mail. I told him that if nobodyelse can help him out I'd make a copy at one of the office supply places and snail-mail it.
Spent a good part of the day doing some pruning and cutting back iceplant. Knew I should have worn long sleeves but nooooo, dummy said it's too warm out. Now my arms look I fell into a big briar patch.
Hope all with the aches & pains or the crud feel better soon.
Later all.
